    Hi
    Will this work if you have 4 cameras connected to poe switch then 1 ethernet connected to powerline then at the other end powerline connected to router with nvr connected to router

    Good day Sir. The problem is when electricity go down. I can have a ups for my router and cameras, but i will lost the communication between PLC. Do you know PLC modules that are running under wire without electricity too ? (they would have to be internal battery backuped...) Thank you, regards from Chile.

    what sort of performance degradation does this typically have compared to direct ethernet line of connections?

    I have a Lorex camera which doesn’t use POE, but has a separate plug which gets power from the rg59 Ethernet cable which is plugged into power at the other end near the dvr. I want to use this solution to replace the Ethernet cable. Is there a way to do it? Or is POE the only solution? Aka I need to buy another security camera system that’s POE or I have to end up wiring thru the walls?

      RG59 is for analog cameras to connect to the DVR. PoE is a technology to send power to IP CAMERAS that record to a NVR. We are talking about different technologies here.

    Will work on half outlets in my home, BUT when I plug the PLC/Camera unit into several outlets there is NO Signal/Connection going back to PLC at the Router! Why is this not working on half the outlets in my home? Is there a fix? Thank you.....

      You might have something different going on with that circuit where it is looped, switched, surge protected etc.

    Hi sir form PH. Is it required to have a router for the plc to work? Or can be direct to the camera. If i'm correct router(remote viewing) is optional?

    • @LearnCCTV
      @LearnCCTV  4 роки тому +1

      It's not required to have a router. It works with any device that can be connected to the Ethernet.
