Pn. Rafidah has mentioned the revamping of the Education System repeatedly in her speech that it should align with the competition in the international arena. Skill based courses relevant to the job market and requirements in the agricultural, business and the IT Sectors should be given high priority and vocational schools teaching skill based courses should be set up and be emphasized rather than just academic courses. Our younger generation need to be relevant and armed with the proper skills to get jobs, be entrepreneurs etc. Our elderly folks who can still work and contribute to the country with their experience should be retrained to meet the new demands in the workforce. Its high time , the new Government form a special team to look and act on these matters. Our PM is in his nineties, which shows that our elderly can still work and have the intelligence for it. Dont push them away or say they are irrelevant.

Pn. Rafidah has mentioned the revamping of the Education System repeatedly in her speech that it should align with the competition in the international arena. Skill based courses relevant to the job market and requirements in the agricultural, business and the IT Sectors should be given high priority and vocational schools teaching skill based courses should be set up and be emphasized rather than just academic courses. Our younger generation need to be relevant and armed with the proper skills to get jobs, be entrepreneurs etc. Our elderly folks who can still work and contribute to the country with their experience
should be retrained to meet the new demands in the workforce. Its high time , the new Government form a special team to look and act on these matters. Our PM is in his nineties, which shows that our elderly can still work and have the intelligence for it. Dont push them away or say they are irrelevant.
