Paddyyyyyyy. Me and my girlfriend are Argentinians and we’ve been following you for a while. We are so happy that you went to our country and so proud of the way you show it. Chau chauuu 🫶🏻
Paddy I don't know what you are going to do!!! You have set the bar so high with this series. All the videos have been beautiful and just epic. Thinking you might have to take Michael up on his offer! Space station next!
This is so nice to see. I hiked the 4day 60km “W” hike during winter in Patagonia, Chile 🇨🇱 nearly 20 years ago ago. We canoed as all lodges were closed for winter. Wild experience. Cheers from Taiwan 🇹🇼
So blessed to be able to see this in your youth. Thank you for bringing it to those of us that can't see it in their lifetime. It's a place of wonderment and such beauty. The monumental slow churning of the glaciers is insanely stunning. Keep the vlogs coming they're great and so are you . Is miss P going to join you on one of these excursions? God bless be safe!
If you ever get the chance to go back, visit El Bolson. Very beautiful and kind of hippy vibe there. We did the hike to the Cajon Azul, which was super super nice!!!!
If you haven’t visited Bariloche and the lakes district do it was my favourite part of the Argentina-Chile trip in 2017. Hiking there is great and the views are spectacular, there are so many options that the crowds cannot really affect it.
Hiya Paddy. Great intro. The place is buzzing. Great views along your journey. Helpful tips. Wow. The Glaciers are stunning. Gorgeous footage. Your food looked delicious. Great price. Very informative to help others. What a gorgeous hike. Stunning views. Great calling card for someone living in the area to rent out tents for overnight stays. Feeling you with the Buzz Kill. Well done. I bet that last part was hard on your knees. Thank you for taking us along. Great advice for others. I would feel the same. I bet your legs were sore. Nice facilities. Although pricey. Thank you. Looking forward to the next one. Wishing you a great week.
Hi I listened to your video yesterday while working however I watched it today. I knew I had to watch it! Beautiful recordings, great tips. I always am concerned with logistics than what to see. Important is how to get there and be back safely. Thanks for the airport clip. The quick clip helped to see that it seems fairly safe to take either. I also came across get your guide tours providing pickup and drop off services. Thank you. It does seem a spot that is developed based on visitors so everything seems to be package based. Thanks again! I'd have loved the people honestly BC I'm too scared to be alone in such vast surroundings but I totally get the last bummer haha. When it's glorified but when you reach the top it's just fine... So thanks for that, I may not regret not going to El chalten and just do El calafate.
Paddyyy PATAGONIA is beautiful. Thank you for showing it to us. At my age I will never be able to go and do this so really appreciate your vlogg efforts and big thank you❤
I've been swamped lately, but I've managed to catch a glimpse of some of your videos, and they're truly amazing! I've been crazy busy, but I really need to take a break and sit down to watch more of them. 😁
Absolutely beautiful! The crowds.... ugh. Reminds me of the National Parks in the US.... the ones I have avoided so far. I have learned along the way to get to the popular places super early, although there's usually a crowd even then. Fabulous video as usual!! ❤
I just love your honesty about all of your trips.. and yeah I'd be a little disappointed with the crowds too.. I prefer to go to places that are maybe a little less beautiful but have way less people so you enjoy it more.
Really enjoyed watching your hike through Paddygonia ( lol pardon my silliness). It is so stunning. Unfortunately, I am not physically able to do such treks. So thank you that I can do this journey through your adventures 😊
Hiking poles are life saviours for me. I wouldn't have been able to do half the stuff I've done without them. And even nowadays unfrotunately that I have plantar fasciitis, they allow me to walk much much more that I would be able to without them. So when I go on holidays I take them with me. They help reduce the weight on my feet significantly. But I get you that the crowds and the noise were off putting. I hike to escape all that, and to encounter it when I hike is definitely quite annoying.
El Chalten has become very popular, and therefore crowded and expensive. I was there with my newly wed wife in January 1998 (there wasn't even all pavement from Calafate to Chalten, so made it a bit more secluded). Camped two nights at Poincenot and Agostini campgrounds. Beautiful and unforgetable experience. Probably better go late summer into autumn. December, January and February are summer vacations for argentineans, therefore crowded.
I’m not sure who’s experience was better/worse? I hiked to Fitz Roy, blue sky up until that final uphill to the viewpoint, and then the clouds came in and I couldn’t even see the mountain after all that work to the top! I could see the blue lake and there were only a handful of people, but I think I’d prefer the crowds with the reward of actually seeing the Patagonia silhouette up close.
I was a little scared when I saw you drink the water straight out of that river. Then you stopped and dipped your toes in the river. I said to myself, " And that's why you don't drink river water." Fun episode I like it when the pissed-off side of Paddy Doyle comes out. Glad to see I'm not the only one who hates crowds.
if you could see the lake in its green blue version then you might feel better with the crowd. I wish I do it one day. Thank you so much for your guide, really useful.
That last part of getting to the lakes reminds me of Half Dome in Yosemite... Just a line of people going up/down, it felt commercialized and kind of buzz killed the hike for me lol. Still great views!
Seriously! You went to a well known tourist town to hike to a well known tourist spot and you're whinging because there's lots of tourists there. Seems like you have the same complaint in a lot of your videos. And to call the other people who have just as much right to be there as you "riff raff"!!! 😂
Paddy, I know this is going a little off script, but can you recommend a Thai island minus the litter ? In Koh Kood at the mo and apart from outside your resort, the place is awash with rubbish. Spent 2 days cleaning rubbish from the beach because the locals don't seem to give a toss. Was talking to an Italian today and apparently all of Asia seems to be in the same mess. Any thoughts on any island. Ta
I Watch you because you are so honest. You are very real, I want to know what I am going to be faces with. The good the bad and the ugly. Please do not change that. I am a 64 year old woman, feels like I am 32 ready to retire. Your honesty has inspired me. I have share your channel with young people and I am going to start a vlog soon. May I suggest you do not go into a country and try to find all the perfect. I feel that you will loose followers. Beeeeeeeeee real. PLease. Thanks Sara
Any tips for visiting Patagonia both Chilean and Argentinian side in the Month of August? If you have any resources you can point me towards I’d appreciate it. Thanks
Keep in mind in August it's midle of winter and winter in Patagonia especially the southern part of it as where are the towns of Calafate and Chalten and Fitz Roy mountain on the Argentinian side or similar latitude on the Chilean side can be very cold and harsh with strong snow storms. The tourism on Patagonia in August is centered on the northern part of it, around cities like Bariloche or El Bolson that are aproximately 1000 and 950 km north from El Calafgate or El Chalten and it's centered around ski and some winter sport and activities or Puerto Mont in Chile
hi i'm chilean and chile to become very expensive in the high temp January and February becose there are more people ... sorry my english i'm learning it
Isnt it interesting how most of us, while being a body and therefore CONTRIBUTING to the crowds....we still dont like crowds. I despise crowds, soni get it
absolutely ridiculous prices to hang out with a load of back packers. No thanks. Anyway, been to Patagonia when in Royal Navy on passage home from the Falklands. Chile part, not Argentina part due to obvious reasons........
I don't understand why the Argentinian Gov't does not clear a proper hiking path to Laguna de los tres. 🤔🤔They promote this area & the local economies make tons of $$$ but... oh break your ankle or leg in tons of rocks & boulders everywhere. I will NEVER go to Argentina.😡😡
Paddyyyyyyy. Me and my girlfriend are Argentinians and we’ve been following you for a while. We are so happy that you went to our country and so proud of the way you show it. Chau chauuu 🫶🏻

Patagonia is my dream to explore. Thank for sharing.
CHILES SIDE IS MORE GRENER AND IT HAVE FJORDS SO YOU KNOW
So blessed to be able to see this in your youth. Thank you for bringing it to those of us that can't see it in their lifetime. It's a place of wonderment and such beauty. Beautiful, breathtaking..but that final hike is brutal.
Glad you did this on OUR behalf, Paddy!
Yes it was! Glad you enjoyed it Beverly ❤️
Beautiful views. Loved the hike with the boulders rocks looked stunning. Aren't we lucky that you always share it with us. P.S. I liked that pub.
Sometimes it’s the songs in your head that make it all more worthwhile. I’m really enjoying your adventures! Thank you!!
For once the algorithm is good, so thankful this was recommended.
I love Saturday mornings! Your content is outstanding. Thank you :)
I had wind and rain for half the hike.. second half when going up to Fitz Roy was clear and gorgeous ❤
If you ever get the chance to go back, visit El Bolson. Very beautiful and kind of hippy vibe there. We did the hike to the Cajon Azul, which was super super nice!!!!

Both places are in Argentina, why name Chile?

So glad you went for us, I’ll go to the camp spot and enjoy it that far cause you did the heard part for us ❤
Paddyyy PATAGONIA is beautiful. Thank you for showing it to us. At my age I will never be able to go and do this so really appreciate your vlogg efforts and big thank you❤
Wow Paddy, the glacier was amazing but I agree, the hike reminded me of NYE...great build--up but a big anti-climax at the end 👍
Spectacular landscape and great honest tips and insights into these areas of Patagonia.
Always a pleasure to travel vicariously with you, while staying out of the elements 👍😀+1.

I totally agree!
Love this part of a Saturday.
Hi Paddy..beautiful ..always wanted to see Patagonia..and threw yr eyes..well done..be safe xo
We were just there a week ago. We did a 2 week tour of Patagonia. South through Chile, back north through Argentina.
I just love your honesty about all of your trips.. and yeah I'd be a little disappointed with the crowds too.. I prefer to go to places that are maybe a little less beautiful but have way less people so you enjoy it more.
Saw and did this path last week! Best experience and hike to Mt Fritz Roy 🎉
Were the lakes thawed? Just wondering what month he would have done this.
Really enjoyed watching your hike through Paddygonia ( lol pardon my silliness). It is so stunning. Unfortunately, I am not physically able to do such treks. So thank you that I can do this journey through your adventures 😊

Another excellent video. Thanks for your efforts.
Thanks Paddy. Just awesome!!

the water was delicious! - i could taste the toes....

People always talk about the negative aspects of climate change ,its good to see it has a positive effect on the glacier ,there.
Remarkable pictures.
❤👍🏼Very interesting thanks Paddy! A country you dont hear so much about. 💞💞
CHILE S SIDE OF PATAGONIA HAVE FJORDS. AND 43 000 ISLAND
That last part of getting to the lakes reminds me of Half Dome in Yosemite... Just a line of people going up/down, it felt commercialized and kind of buzz killed the hike for me lol. Still great views!
Sorry if I missed, but when were you there? February? Seeing those crowds, I'm thinking of going in a shoulder season.😵
I Think that what you called MIRANO GLACIER is the PERITO MORENO (GLACIER)
Seriously! You went to a well known tourist town to hike to a well known tourist spot and you're whinging because there's lots of tourists there. Seems like you have the same complaint in a lot of your videos. And to call the other people who have just as much right to be there as you "riff raff"!!! 😂
Perfect weather what month was this
You always get yourself as early as you can at a hiking trailhead. Doesn't matter what it is.
What time of the year were you there? This info is always missing in the videos. Useful in planning clothes.
Paddy, I know this is going a little off script, but can you recommend a Thai island minus the litter ? In Koh Kood at the mo and apart from outside your resort, the place is awash with rubbish. They give a toss - but local governments don't people to clean it up like they do in Europe.
Hey, this is disappointing to read...... we plan to go there next week! Thanks for the heads up
เส้นทางงดงามมาก❤
Amazing video vlog.😍
Sooooo many people!
I Watch you because you are so honest. You are very real, I want to know what I am going to be faces with. The good the bad and the ugly. Please do not change that. Hey mate, that forest you mentioned, how far from the town is?? thanks a lot and nice vid !
What month of the year did you go?
Fabulous Paddy!! How long was your South America trip in total? Are there other parts you’d like to visit?
No se en que mes fuiste. Yo fui dos veces en el mes de enero y la laguna está completamente turquesa y la vista es increíble al llegar. Saludos.
Any tips for visiting Patagonia both Chilean and Argentinian side in the Month of August? If you have any resources you can point me towards I’d appreciate it. Thanks

Curse you Paddy. 2 seconds in I got that "I need to go somewhere new" dissatisfied itch... 😂
What time of year was this? Thank you!
November
Great
I see the "no drones" sign at Mt FitzRoy.... In spite of the sign, did you see anyone flying?
i didn't see anyone breaking the rules
hi i'm chilean and chile to become very expensive in the high temp January and February becose there are more people ... sorry my english i'm learning it
I can't believe how many people were doing that moderately difficult hike.
How do u think Patagonia compares to switzerland or dolomites ?
hey how much did it all cost u ?
wot month were u their
The glacier was epic. Interesting that the governments of Chile and Argentina are still to this day arguing about who owns which bit.
If you want all of that but without the crowds, try New Zealand
En Argentina hay muchísimos lugares hermosos dónde no hay multitud.
can we go off road a bit? so we dont have so much people
Great post and hope dont mind me saying but for some unknown reason prefer this video to your Antarctica ones, oops!!!
i just don't like tourists or vloggers complaining about the crowds. remember you are part of the crowds.
I don't think he was complaining I think he was just letting you know to book ahead it's good to know.
Epic
Which month is this?
At 11:12….“just about to hit December“
why do u keep calling it marino glacier. is that what the locals call it? i always thought it was perito moreno
summer bad time of the year to go Patagonia!....too many people
And winter way too cold and snowy with harsh storms, so a lot of points are inaccessible, but Decermber or March may be better optioons
Paddy... you are blocking the view! Hehehehe
❤️
Isnt it interesting how most of us, while being a body and therefore CONTRIBUTING to the crowds....we still dont like crowds. I despise crowds, soni get it
Si pasó calor ahí imaginate en el verano y mas al norte. Fallece el tipo.
What country is this?
Argentina
when an aussie hears $144 for two nights and your not sharing a bedroom. that's a bargain!!
👍
absolutely ridiculous prices to hang out with a load of back packers. No thanks. Anyway, been to Patagonia when in Royal Navy on passage home from the Falklands. Chile part, not Argentina part due to obvious reasons........
I hope you put loads of sunblock on your ears 😎😉
sin ofender, pero son mas lindas las torres del Paine, sorry,
Pe-sos. Not Pay-sos
Häää deutscher Titel und jetzt redet er englisch ?
The video is good and informative but Omg! Stop whining so much!
Maybe you don't enjoy nature?
I don't understand why the Argentinian Gov't does not clear a proper hiking path to Laguna de los tres. 🤔🤔They promote this area & the local economies make tons of $$$ but... oh break your ankle or leg in tons of rocks & boulders everywhere. I will NEVER go to Argentina.😡😡
Respeto por la naturaleza se llama.
ok karen
La Patagonia es únicamente Argentina, jamás del lado chileno se le tiene que decir Patagonia.
