As John Hermann, the motorcycle travel writer wrote, "No matter how many other mountains you've seen, the first glimpse of the Dolomites takes your breath away. It's almost a religious experience." I have ridden many times through these spectacular mountains. I always get off the bike, hike off the road a ways, find a bench & sit in awe of the scenery that surrounds me.
The views are certainly “ Outrageous “ it’s unbelievable. I thought Switzerland was amazing this is Next Level . It’s certainly on my bucket list , your accomodation looked very nice . I watched you for many years now and it’s so refreshing. You have brought me home to my country well I’m Sicilian but Italy is my home . I’ve loved your Thailand series and this will be my next loved series . Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with us. Viva Italia
Your videos are sooooo much better when you’re genuinely happy, excited and enjoying yourself instead of forcing yourself to make content just to forward your ‘business’
the Dolomites are more jagged than the Swiss alps is because they weren't glaciated in the ice age but Swiss alps were (or so I was told when visited there a few years ago). It certainly is a jaw dropping countryside. Stayed in Arraba and sat in the spa of the hotel by myself with a big picture window overlooking the mountains - just magic.
Wow wonderful video ! I am planning to travel to Bolzano- Alpe di Siusi-Seceda- Col Raiser... Dolomities & Lakes around June next year. The great videos and useful information you made help me make travel plans. I'll look forward to your wonderful videos ! 😊🎉
Thank you. As a hiker/trekker who has visited Dolomites twice and who spends far too much time walking and too little filming (badly). It is such a wonder to still be able to revisit spots in an unrushed, detailed way. I cannot wait to explore more of your videos. I have never visited Switzerland. In fact I only recently started visiting Europe but judged on pure beauty it is hard to compare the dolomites with any other mountains. Although each press different wonderful buttons and pure beauty is not the only measure.
I miss the Dolomites. It's been 19 years. I will return. My Father's favourite place of his homeland. Look forward to the next episode. Thanks Paddy! Safe travels. Cheers, Stef.
It's just one of the unique places and landscapes that you can find in Italy...I always say that probably it's possible to spend the entire life visiting Italy and never get bored, of course life us too short to stay just in a place but, yes spending couple of months in Italy it definitely worth
Paddy, you have grown so much in the quality of your equipment, production and editing. The Dolomites do blow you away and your vlogs are captivating! Bravo mate!
🤩splendid Paddy D. Woow, i always had a wish to visit and see the Dolomites in real but i never did it ! this place is outstanding and i am very happy you will make some episodes of this stuning bizzare Mountains ! Wonderful how you narrate your walks, and the way you take it easy with a smile - great lol ! Thank you for exploring such beautiful region i love it ❤✌
Paddy have you not heard of duck tape and crazy glue. Can fix just about anything. Including drones. hahaha Both the Alp and Dolomite's were formed the same way, with the European and African plate pressing against each other. Alp is about ten million years old and the Dolomite's about a 100 million. Little bit older and worn. Love a good lighting storm at night lighting up the sky. Another enjoyable video Paddy!
I have been following you paddy for a while, and i was really inspired by your trip to Dolomite, and this month i have travelled all the way there and did hike the Seceda, and it was magical Thank you for sharing such a beauty and thank you for the inspirational
Thank you, Paddy, as always for another fantastic vid. After your Swiss series, I was really feeling an Alpine “”urge” but couldn’t quite reconcile it with the expense. I had just started looking into the Dolomites when your timely video popped up.
I grow up just near bye - Carinthia, ...the Dolomites are the most spectacular mountain formations in the Alps (for me to compare in beauty only to South America's Patagonia)- the nature and landscape in this area is breathtaking. I prefer the Dolomites and the area in north Italy over Swizerland, also the people are very different in South Tyrol, as the Swiss people are not known to be very open towards tourists or foreigners. Thank you for the nice video...and have a great and happy day...
Im so glad that someone is giving Dolomites their well deserved credit 😊 for me personally they are the most beautiful mountains in Europe! Love your videos Paddy!
Great video brother! Yeah those high altitude shots were pretty scary! I've always felt the same way you do about the Dolomites. I think it's some of God's best work. I'm loving these videos bro! I hope I get to see them with my own eyes someday soon!
Hello Paddy ... I love your documentations ... 👌 I never was in the Dolomites I know Italy quiet well but not the Dolomites 😌 I enjoy watching your videos every time. --- Thank you Paddy 🤗
I have loved your videos of Switzerland . I was just there for 4 days and home Saturday and was absolutely in awe . The alps are stunning was in love and now I’m watching this it’s next on list . I’m pretty much just following you 😂
Dear Paddy! Followed u for years now and this years video are the bestest of Bests! Plus the goosebumps when u r at the edge of the peaks yikes 😅😂 looking forward to your next paradise!!
Hiya Paddy. What you like. You always got to be breaking something. Bless you. The wine was a good call. The views from the balcony are stunning. You are brave. I can not do cable cars. And it definitely was not cheap. You're so right about not getting grumpy. Such is life. At 50. Mellow and happy every day. Life is a blessing. But to be fair always had that outlook. Had many not reached my age. Life is a gift. I am not surprised you are blown away. The views when you hit the top. Are insane. Wow. I am with you. I love your videos. You make my day brighter. And you take us to the most beautiful places. The views are outrageous. I love the smell of pine trees too. The smell of nature. You do make me giggle. For those, Lazy B's. Haha. You do make my stomach go over. Those thin pathways and high points. And ledges. Definitely more striking. I bet it was a beautiful walk back. Loving your positivity. Those hailstones. Looked like they would hurt. The 360. Wow. I am blown away by the views. I am with you. I love a good storm. Loved this and can not wait for the next one. And as a member. I can now watch the next one. Or four. I love it. Brilliant video. Thank you for sharing. My fave solo UA-camr. Very uplifting. Thank you, Paddy.
Hey Paddy, another great video! I hope you will be doing a little of the budget breakdown like Switzerland. How does accommodation, food & transport compare to Switzerland? Those looking for a European mountain trekking experience may be interested?
Yes Paddy this series should be awesome. Are you using your laptop home full time now to film mate? Do you shoot in log and color grade in post or just shot straight from the camera? Love it mate keep them coming
I have never really wanted to visit Europe because I hate city life. But now Paddy has changed my mind with this video. Hope you get your drone fixed we will miss the epic shots.
It was my favorite place on earth when I was young. I went there average four times a year for ⛷ and motorcycle in the summer. Today my main destination is Thailand.
Yes, in my younger years went on several motorcycle tours of the Alps. My favorite spot were the Dolomites & staying in Arabba at the Hotel Evaldo. Now we spend the winters in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Not quite the spectacular mountains, but some great motorcycle roads heading north out of Chiang Mai.
Great video Paddy, looking forward to seeing the Dolomites. Sad that you broke your drone. Really love the way you inject humour into your videos. How do you go about planning a trip like this?
I remember the first time I saw pictures of the Dolomites and I thought it was not possible to have mountains that cool and beautiful. 😊 It does not even compare but the Sawtooths in Idaho and a little mountain range near White Sands National Park in New Mexico both give me Dolomite vibes. ❤ Looking forward to this series!!
Norwegian born, I'm no stranger to spectacular mountain scenery, but the Dolomites simply blow me away. Did Hannibal really march his army and elephant's across the Alps towards Rome?!
The place is so beautiful and the view is out of this world. The Switzerland s eries is breath taking and not this. How much money I've to save to go to all of this. LOL
The Dolomites in ITALY are just gorgeous, have you ever been before?
No. But want to visit now.
No not yet !! I’m planning to either next year or 2025 🇮🇹
The Dolomites in SOUTH TYROL are indeed gorgeous and I have been at least a dozen times.
I have been there just few days before you (beginning of June). Amazing! Seceda was WOW.
@@e.s.7272The Dolomites are shared by the ITALIAN regions of Trentino Alto Adige-South Tyrol, Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Get your facts straight.
I am Italian and the Dolomites are by far the best place in the entire country. I try and visit once a year because it’s just that amazing😊
I prefer beaches but we always want what we can‘t have
Paddy, some of us been following along since The Budgeteers & still enjoying your travels.
Unreal... Absolutely blown away! And to think it's just on the other side from Switzerland! Wow!!
Yup 👍 absolutely epic , it’s better in ep2
@@PaddyDoyle. Even better?? How is that even possible!!
I’d never heard of them before now. Absolutely stunning.
Thank you so very much for this! Never stop traveling!
I would say this is one of your best travel documentaries to date! Keep 'em coming mate!

We have spent 1 month in Italy in June this year and we combined Dolomites with Amalfi coast. It was one of the best holiday we've had
Omg Paddy, this is stunning, exquisite, you've given me a new bucket list destination to plan for🙏

Glad you enjoyed it, we visit Tre Cima in ep3
❤❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👍Dolomites wins for me. Massive thanks for sharing this with us .
Wow wow wow!!! The formation of the mountains are crazily beautiful!!!
They are!
Your videos are sooooo much better when you’re genuinely happy, excited and enjoying yourself instead of forcing yourself to make content just to forward your ‘business’
Yup 👍 I agree 1,000%
Stunning!!!! Skiing there would be WOW!!!!!!!

Incredibly beautiful...Italy certainly is a contrast of differing but stunning scenery 😮👍
Couldn't agree more!
Incredibly beautiful ... South Tyrol.

I cannot wait to see the Dolomites! AWESOME footage Paddy. I really hope you get to have some amazing pasta after these epic treks!
Sorry, but pasta is not a "typical" food in South Tyrol. Typical for this area are, for example, Knödel and Schlutzkrapfen, Speck and Schüttelbrot.
Beautiful. Now I want to go to The Dolomites. Thank you.
Amazing. I have plans to come here next year. I am excited. Thank you for sharing, confirming my wisdom to hike here next year.
WOW WOW just amazing 👏 😍
You are SO good at your editing etc now we'll done Paddy 😁

Breath In, Breath Out, by Matthias Tell
Used your videos for my trip to Swiss alps last year and was most beautiful place ever been and now seen these and have my next trip 😂
hi there, thanks for sharing. Are there public transport or taxi to get from Seceda to Tre Cime and the in between towns?
Tickled 👍
Amazing episode. What time of year was this, please ?
Wow
Paddy…amazing! What month was this…late summer?
with oberland pass train is free as far as dolomites, but do you know if that covers the lift too?
Holy cow...the views are stunning. Who knew this existed?
And...were you scared at all whilst riding the chairlift?
pop it on your bucket list haha
I guess I have a new bucket list to fulfill 😂

Paddy the Dolomite’s are incredible. How did you travel between Switzerland & Italy.
Train? Car? Bus? Airplane isn‘t worth it
The place is so beautiful and the view is out of this world. The Switzerland s eries is breath taking and not this. How much money I've to save to go to all of this. LOL
