To be fair to OG Tristan, he doesn't necessarily have the weird quirk with his battery anymore. It still NP seals him for that 50% battery of course, but after his recent upgrade Harp of Healing removes all types of debuffs instead of just mental. So as long as yu pay attention with skill order usage, he can battery and then self cleanse the seal to get that instant 50% no downside.

I do feel people undersell og Tristan, especially after his buff. His NP upgrade, buff removal and teamwide cleanse gives him tons of unique utility.

To be fair buff removal hasn’t been all that useful of late due to the constant use of unremovable buffs
Team wide cleanses hardly matter because esports play styles and other avenues for teams either rush down enemies before debuffs become an issue, already have someone else for the job, or just can stall till it’s not an issue.
It’s not that people undersell him it’s just his tools aren’t All that relevant

@@amari7782 I’ve seen people who claim that FK Tristan is leagues ahead of og, which I don’t think is true. She’s better, but her np damage really isn’t all that impressive since she lacks an np upgrade. Plus, a full cleanse on your main DPS means you don’t have to waste a team slot on an Esports unit, not to mention how limited the options are for a full cleanse as opposed to a single cleanse.

I don’t really get wat u mean by her NP dmg not being all that impressive when even if we look at the NP dmg calculations chart as an example Tristan’s only really beating her out with only a 6k minimum gap and this isn’t taking buffs into consideration so it’s not like it’s a big deal in the long run considering you’re probably going to buff them to the point the dmg gap is negligible at best.
Yes a cleanse us cool but how many times do u care about the rest of the team outside of the main DPS? As long as everyone else can buff it doesn’t really matter

@@amari7782 cleanses can be vital for boss gimmicks (a couple come to mind in LB 5 and 6) and sustainability is a much bigger deal to accounts who don’t have every meta support in the game. There are also several fights that require a slower play style due to certain gimmicks.

I got her at NP4 after two banners of swinging for Oberon and Castoria. She's been one of my most valuable servants, tbh. I've heavily considered grailing her to 100 just because of the design and skills.

I hear you. Not sure why they haven't gotten around to overhauling the bond CEs. At the very least...give them real stats! Even if they had amazing effects the garbage stats would be a huge negative. But most of them don't have anything cool.
I mean sure the description for the bond CEs can be cool. And getting bond in general means quartz and servant coins. But the bond CEs should be so much better.

I feel it should be said that, if you are using her as a boss killer equipped with BG and triple Skadi, you will get more NP damage with 2 casters and a ruler than 2 rulers and a caster (assuming the defense debuffs land). Also, she gets better mileage from quick crits than buster.

A little story(I lied) I have over 1100+ SQ(I'm f2p I just didn't pull for like a year got lucky with Castoria pull and EMIYA carried me for the whole game) with my only aim pulling for Muramasa and had like over 1500 for him but got his np5 and still have like 600 also pulled and got lucky for space Ishtar and I farmer again till the barrage of banners this and last months so I had 1100+ sq my aim being Oberon got him in like 6 multi np3 so I pulled for Konyanskaya(I refuse to call her proper name) she took everything she took 900 pulls to get so I have like 300 but in those draws that Included a Kaleidoscope, Great Marshal of Magic and Black Grail along side Scheherzade and Odysseus with all rate up characters EXCEPT Tam Lin Tristan I in my desperation of not getting her I pulled at the Morgan banner she comes home like in 20th pull(I only have 360 sq left and planning to save for Melusine in dec) then I pulled and pulled till I get her she took everything literally everything I have 1
26 sq left(I already started farming)
long story short I got Morgan Konyanskaya and Oberon before getting HER she took like 1100+ sq before coming home and I'm not even going to use her...

I have her since she came out in JP, heck she and Morgan carried me all the way to LB6 from Singularity 1.
I got her at NP4 when she came out, got her last copy in the rerun banner, and she was the first LVL 100 10/10/10 servant i finished.
Morgan is the second just 1 skill left
I still dont get why the Fairy Knight title was translated to Tam Lin. If Nasu uses Tam Lin then we should get the actual Tam Lin, not use the name as a title.

The important thing to make a servant is that the stories are interesting, not true. And even if you want to stay on that: "there isn't any evidence of countess bathory being an idol with draconic traits", see how it sounds dumb? What I meant is that the stories about countess bathory make her look like an asshole, so she should have been an asshole (yes Carmilla is technically her bad side, but that only means we lost the real Carmilla from her original story in favor of an "evil liz"), the same way king Arthur didn't have a magic sword, but there it is anyways because his story talks about it and everybody knows it. And I don't want to sound like I hate Liz or anything, I simply think baobhan sith would make a better "Elizabeth Bathory" than her.
