she is one hard defense off of being a top tier solo unit imo. Her only weakness is being one shot by the enemy. Even a standard guts can be very strong due to her cd reduction effect on NP.
Failing that, the second best buff she could get is 3t def up tied to her NP...

Baggie has bit of a niche as an excellent pick for Grail Front, even if she has only gotten one chance to be in one. Her lack of hard defense in case for NP doesn't matter if you're just brawling with the opponent.

What Gawain SHOULD have been capable of given how painful his encounter in Camelot was.
B is a little too strong for an SR. She can actually outheal damage from class neutral. That’s…..insane.
I will definitely try to get her and give her some grails.
These mat requirements though... that will take a while *already dying inside*
Also her third ascension is Dygenguard from Super Robot Wars
The perfect buff for her NP would be to give her a 1-time NP Damage Resist somewhere in the ballpark of 60% or so.
She's my main target for LB6. Although it's going to be harder to get her since there's no banner rotations. This is going to make it much tougher to get to NP5 or even get really ambitious. I already had my fun with multi rate up with Seraph's first banner back in '19 and Fae Gawain as far as I know never had her own solo rate up. That said at least she's paired with fellow Fae Knight Tristan which is much more of a fair deal than Suzuka or Roland in their banners.
She looks a good deal of fun and I enjoy brawlers so I should enjoy using her. Hopefully you don't get stuck trying to fish either of the knights out of the gacha since you've also had that problem with those cursed Salem banners.
Small bit of trivia: Fae Gawain's character designer is MELON22, aka that one Fate fan artist who likes to give Servants GN Twin Drives.

Honestly she probably has my favorite design, in her first ascension she's a "Samus" type of armored knight, second ascension is snu snu and third ascension is a brutal demonic berserker, odd that she isn't one, but I guess it would be stepping on Morgan's toes

Sorry, but hundred persona is just straight up (i apologize to all her fans beforehand) ugly, barghest on the other hand hits all of my spots.
So, what I do is I actually use Arash to wipe Wave 1 to allow TLGawain to charge up to 50 (All her skills, and Oberon’s S1), before giving her Oberon’s S2 in Turn 2 to get her up to NP and give Crane 20 stars to use her NP before TLGawain’s. Then Turn 3 is Double Koyan + Ending of Dreams to do big number and end the battle.
pretty sure a lot of people on the JP side of things have been basically making her a power house to use not to mention she's been one of the top 3 4 star servants nearly everyone grailed to 120 so even if you are putting the analysis on the objective side of things, I think people overall may end up disagreeing to a point of actively trying to prove ya wrong. simping is a hard thing to argue.

I wonder if instead of giving her the typical hard defense like invol or guts she gets 95% damage reduction for one turn on her 3rd skill, plus the already existing damage cut she will get damaged but not one shot by anything, playing more into her healing gimmick as she would still potentially get damaged or not at all if it's a multi hit high-mid damage.
A 100K damage NP would turn into 5K before the damage cut, obviously a hard defense would be better.
Also I don't know why but in a three saber setup for a three turn farm she seems to deal more damage than others, especially on face cards, but also on her NP, unless I'm tripping she deals more than Artoria and Muramasa, obviously they have more looping potential, but in raw NP she seems good, plus with double Koyan she still loops fine

When I first found out about her, the first way I heard her described was "gap moe". I became interested.
When I first started looking into her, I saw "massive muscle mommy column with heaving romance novel bosoms." I became intrigued.
When I further delved into her, I saw "here's several videos of her soloing bosses and content across the entire game." I became certain.
And here we are; me, almost two years later, having variably saved and... struggled to save SQ up for her, my not-quite-but-nearly-first soloer (which I did not have at the time) and I am ready.

I’ll likely get Fairy Knight Gawain but as a recourse of summoning for Morgan one being a 4* and the other a 5*.
One more thing. Barghest can cook.
Even if she is not your waifu nor meta unit, she can still act as your grandma and prevent your starvation indefinitely.
In less than 300 sq, I reached my goal of NP5 Barghest and got a Morgan and NP4 Sith as a bonus. As soon as I finish my MHXA project, she’s starting the journey to 120. But damn, farming her skill mats is gonna drive me nutty.

If not that I caved in and spent my savings for Taira and Karen I would pull for everyone but now I'm just saving for Oberon and maybe Mélusine if I feel daunting. If not all my SQ goes to Oberon I really love that unit beyond being a top tier unit. I love his sour, mean humor a lot.
