trying to decide on a new fence idea for mine. i like this but that angle iron would be expensive for me and no measuring system would annoy me, although i'm sure you could make something to suit. Nice job regardless. :)
To be honest with You I thought about it and still this solution isn't perfect... In the future will try to fix the fence on both sides. Please be patient :)
How straight is that, really, over 2m? Every tiny bend in/out over it's length would cause the fence to toe in/out, depending where you set it. How did you guarantee straightness of the guide rail?
That was a good idea. But have you ever had any issues with the lifting mechanism? One person on UA-cam showed it wouldn't lift any more cause of aluminium part used against steel rod.
hi, did you get the blade level with the t slots or did you just live it because mine is of by 2mm. blade is to the right at the back. I can line up the fence but then the sled is wrong. nice worh though.
On the back side of table saw , from the inside you will see a small plastic bracket which holds entire mechanism of saw. There is some play so maybe you will fix that a little bit.
Thanks, tried but no space in the way I need to move, will try and grind a bit. I love the fence idea. but hard to fined 30x30x4mm onle 3mm and 4mm angle. tried 30x30x3mm and it will not hold. Thanks again great work
Wyboru dużego nie miałem...albo powiem inaczej - wymiary stółu zalezały od tego co udało mi się zdobyć. Los tak chciał, ze mój dobry sąsiad miał w piwnicy swoje stare narożne biurko. Biurko było w kształcie litery "L" które było praktycznie samym blatem tak jak to sprzedajemy.pl/biurko-narozne-stol-stolik-mikomax-okazja-w-wa-nr16713707 . Gabarytowych wymiarów nie pamiętam ale szekość blatu to 750mm a zrobiny jest niestety z dwóch sklejonych i to nie za dobrze płyt meblowych "18mm". Finalnie ma ok. 38 mm . Najbardziej mi zależało, aby prawa cześć stołu była w jednym kawałku, tak abym mógł frezarkę z wyrzynarką zamontować bez przeszkód-nadczym obecnie pracuję. P.S. Jak zaczeniesz poziomować piłę względem blatu to zobaczysz jak wszytko tam jest krzywe....
Industrial Hope hmmm. mowisz ze az tak krzywo? Kupilem pile razem z tym wozkiem na kolkach, on jest regulowany. Zastanawiam sie czy nie zrobic blatu na stale a wozkiem tylko podjechac i sprobowac nim sobie pomoc w poziomowaniu
Nie wiem jak w Twoim egzemplarzu ale aluminiowy odlew, który jest blatem piły nie jest zbyt prosty... Jak zaczniesz sprawdzać tu i tam być może także u Ciebie okaże się że przekątne blatu różnia się o 1,5 mm ,a jeden naroznik od drugiego jest wyżej o 2 mm ... mimo ceny Makita jest nadal piłą budowlaną i długo biłem się z myślami ale w końcu musiałem zaakceptować to, że NIGDY nic nie będzie przycięte idealnie . Jest jeszcze wiele wad, które odryłem przez ponad rok użytkowania ale mimo to w tej klasie cenowej jest najlepszą piłą jaka można dostać .... kolejny poziom cenowy to 3000+ ale to pewnie wiesz.
Industrial Hope Damy rade z tym co mamy :-) Ja zrywam ze swojej blat calkiem. Nakladam sklejke a pozniej czaje sie na INCRA Combo. Wtedy będę juz całkowicie zadowolony :-)
INCRA.... widze, że kolega na bogato :) Jeżeli chodzi o tak drastyczne zmiany jak zmiana blatu to zaczne się dopiero nadtym zastanawiać w listopadzie jak grawancja mi wygaśnie...ale nie powiem, też mi to przeszło nie raz przez myśl. Tylko ja bardziej myślałem o np sklejce 12mm + blacha 5mm. A będziesz starał się zachować możliwość pochylania tarczy po zmianie blatu ?
Does hold the same shitty way as the oryginal fence. What is positive is that it is longer. What I find real shit in your video is that you do not show it by knowing it. You are testing your fence just by handle.

Very good and low cost
Looks very well built. Would be nice with a guide that attaches on both the back and the front, but I guess the front is fine if you are gentle.
