Does hold the same shitty way as the oryginal fence. What is positive is that it is longer. What I find real shit in your video is that you do not show it by knowing it. You are testing your fence just by handle.
so simple and looks so effective
Now you can't slide the fence back behind the blade for when you are docking off the slide table. Your idea is good but I would be using an Aluminum fence connected to that 40x40 profile so that you can slide it back.
Thanks for sharing. After all these years it is still the best and easiest guide. I added a T-slot to the side plate to attach the featherboard for a more accurate cut.
You do have to spend some time setting the saw up... blade, fence, etc. But once done, the saw is great. Fairly compact which is Nice ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxXh-4_3-ZT1fFWP91ZV7iVqzElr0lEb-a I did get an Incra Miter Gauge which takes some setup as well. The stock miter gauge can be adjusted in the miter slot with a little painter's tape... this tightens up the side to side play a lot.
Und für was soll das gut sein? Das Original kann das besser. MfG.
Very smart and useful, thanks for sharing !
What a useless video. Just watching someone building something without any explanation or plan.
That was a good idea. But have you ever had any issues with the lifting mechanism? One person on UA-cam showed it wouldn't lift any more cause of aluminium part used against steel rod.
This the best mlt100 fence tutorial. Thanks.
Ive fitted an additional Makita guide rail to the saw that gives me inbiult measument too.
Great job! Curious as to how you did the rail for the fence? I had problems getting my fence squared up….. drove me nuts! Thanks for the video.
Aha! Found the other video that detailed the fence rail build. Thanks very much for posting that. Appreciate it. Good luck.
Buenísimo, saludos
The best upgrade as it’s useful and simple thanks 🙏
Don't see much difference from the original fence at all. The other end is still loose.
Well done! That is really ingenious simple! It's the best concept for a router lift. Super idea.
So no one has rebuild this excellent lift? Or has plans or dimensions? What a pitty 😔 BTW great solution
amazing! thank you so much!
I didn't buy this table saw. I was watching some reviews here in youtube. This machine in my country is very pricey. To pay a lot of money and obtain this crappy fence, no thank you.
What wood did u use
WoW ! Nice idea ! I tried www.amazon.com/bluekeyworld Cable Clips and it helped my organization
WoW! Check ua-cam.com/channels/qhG0Bg6oPSNdEDp82SOXMQ.html
Boa tarde simples e eficiente , qual altuta do calço inferior?
Can we gets plans?
The most practical mlt 100 fence on UA-cam. Thanks bro.
Just want to thank you so much for your video on the fence upgrade. I have looked at many suggestions but by far, yours is the best. It has a majestic simplicity which is what I loved about your idea. Cheers!
Very nice job! 👍
The best solution on you tube. The problem I have is finding that format of aluminium. I live in the south of Spain. Any ideas as to the type of place that might just have what I need? Many thanks
sean lynch-twomey banggood you can find
I have been looking for a way to do this, had different things come to mind, but yours is so simple, went and bought the material, following your design, works perfectly with 2 small mods, Thanks very much, gotta love the internet :) Cheers mate.
what were the two modifications
@@Prophet22 Well I ditched this idea and decided to use a rail system, works so much better, and stronger. I will post a small video soon to show you how it works 😁😁
after all these years, can't believe that Makia haven't got this fixed lol
Превосходно! Свой станок так же доработаю
I've got the same router - great machine by the way - and I'm planning to build a router lift soon. This one's one of the best solutions I've seen so far. Could you send the sizes of the different parts used to build it? Would really help rebuilding this great piece. Tnx.
I dont understand what you have gained by this.. it will still flex? As its not held secure at the outfeed end?
Thanks for sharing, I made the modification according to your video, with some small changes, for example instead of wood on the sides use High-density polyethylene, also at the bottom.
Thank you for your video I’ve completed my guard with your instructions and works well I did change slightly by adding a back stop for lock to pull against
Great idee...do you have plans? Yes, do you have plans please?
How straight is that, really, over 2m? Every tiny bend in/out over it's length would cause the fence to toe in/out, depending where you set it. How did you guarantee straightness of the guide rail?
Very good and low cost
Yes, do you have plans please?
Those Aluminium extrusions are so versatile, well done.
Fanastic design,well done.
Nice bench do you have more detailed plans......measurements at the beginning of video are blacked out on bottom left by Industrial Hope logo........ tonygary69@hotmail.com
I dont have an MLT 100 (yet), but maybe what would make the fence even better, how about attaching a block at the very end, sticking out downwards below the table surface. If it is mounted such that it is flush with the side of the table with the clamp undone, it would tighten up if you do the clamp, thus increasing stability and essentially making it a double supported fence.
Great fence.....can you tell me how you lined up the corresponding holes on both sides of the timber so they are flush with the wood insert and the profile?
Aluminium profile have 8mm wide grooves, the bolt are M6, so you have 1mm free space per side
for movement, thats all
Пздц опасно
thanks Industrial Hope for showing us your method on the lifting mechanism, a bit different as I made but looks quite good. Mine is almost similar with a metal sheet but ain't that big, just to hold the rt0700 and a hole to setup the high, every other part is made out of leftover multiplex
Taking into consideration that the workbench you made is mostly wood, and all the power tools you mount on it have only two pins plugs, the earth wire and earthed outlets you put up are useless, unless you intend to change the tools or to add others which may have earth contacts on their power plugs. Instead, you failed to fit an emergency power cut off switch which was mandatory.
