This is a VERY well put together video and I appreciate you putting background gameplay that showcases how powerful it is in solo/challenging content. The one thing I will say I disagree with is your comments about Mobility. Firstly, I agree that it does not help the overall loop of dodge>punch>dodge>punch. But what A LOT of Hunters do not realize is that Mobility has an enormous impact on your jumping height, as well as your movement speed while strafing or while carrying "heavy objects", or in any situation where the game artificially prevents you from running at full speed (which mobility does not affect). So while for general purposes it isn't very helpful, low mobility (as in less than 70) is a big part of why many Hunters will struggle in platforming sections that Titans and Warlocks breeze through. For example, in VoG there is a chasm after Gorgons, before the third encounter. I can, with 100 mobility, clear this chasm without using Stompees or a sword, and without jumping on any of the rocks that appear and dissapear between the two sides. I literally just sprint and jump from the lowest platform along the cliffside to the right and I can make it using only triple jump and 100 mobility. This is a hyper specific spot, but it just illustrates what the stat is actually doing for us. So for this reason I recommend most Hunters run at least 70 or higher unless they're doing something like what you've got here. Which is a build used in situations where platforming is not generally required. Edit: forgot to add that I also think Intellect is more important than Strength. Strength is, outside of a few extremely niche scenarios, always a worthless stat. Intellect at least helps your super be up more consistently, which then gives you more consistent access to the panic button. But both are pretty worthless and I agree 100% that Discipline is BY FAR the most valuable of the three
I respect your opinion about Mobility, and I agree that it can be helpful, especially for Hunters! However, I'm one who has three different enhanced crafted versions of the Other Half sword with Eager Edge on it, and have an in-game loadout dedicated to Stasis and Stompees on my Hunter specifically for movement and shatter skating during platforming sections haha! As for Intellect, I personally disagree that it's at all an important stat outside of the Trials of Osiris. Intellect is the same as Discipline and Strength in that it only lowers the base cooldown of your Super, but everything that grants you Super energy actively is percentage based, which means having higher Intellect doesn't affect those gains whatsoever. Each tick of damage you do, each kill you get, every Orb you collect, etc. won't grant any more Super energy when you have higher tiers of Intellect. Especially with this build having two Hands-On mods and three Heavy Handed mods, I find Intellect especially unnecessary for this build. But, my opinion isn't fact, and everybody has their own! I appreciate you sharing yours, thank you!
Small critique, when explaining your state, you can stick with 10s since 62 give you level 6 regardless. Not saying youre wrong, just to speed things up. You could also just pull up your menu to show everyone. If youre trying to make "long form" content for money, algorithm, whatever.... disregard everything i said, youre doing great. Lol
Does this work as good considering there is no health boost after a kill due to the fact the class item only gives you the damage but not the health like liars does
I've never noticed a problem with it. Thel only rough spot I ever would ever run into was if the thread decoy popped and killed the only other enemy nearby. In which case, I'd lose my melee and my dodge and be in trouble.
@@alexm-w8k While Silence and Squall is arguably the better Super, having Silkstrike equipped gives you access to Woven Mail via the Facet of Purpose Fragment. Silence and Squall will only give you Frost Armour via Facet of Purpose, which is a much less consistent source of damage resistance!
Videos are awesome, just don't waste your time joining the Discord server. You can join and pick your role or class and that's the end of your ability to interact with the server. You will be locked out of every channel on the server with no way to talk to or communicate with anyone else on it.
@@RetArm If you read the entire Rules mesage, you'll see at the bottom it says to react to the message to be granted access to the rest of the server! I have also just edited the invite link to send you straight to the Rules channel; that's on me, and I apologize it wasn't clearer from the start!
You can pretty much swap out Threaded Specter 1 for 1 with Stylish if you'd like. If you do, you'll have one less Fragment slot as well, and I'd recommend removing the Facet of Devotion fragment!
@josefstrom4865 I think that's a matter of skill level I use a build similar to this in gms raids and dungeons. Closing the gap isn't the problem it's sustainability. Mobility has no impact on run speed so it doesn't help close the gap any faster.
Despite it not being needed anyway, being amplified all the time from the melee is a +50 to mobility, so technically he has 80 mobility the whole time anyway
You broke it down to " teach me like I am a kindergartner” blue berry level, gg well done
I'm glad the video was helpful! I try to explain everything with as much simplicity as I can, and I'm glad that comes across!

Amplified gives you 50 mobility . You’re amplified all the time with this build .
Your videos are very easy to follow. You are always very straightforward and descriptive. Great vids. I’ve subscribed.
My new favorite Destiny 2 creator
Amazing build im using it and its so good thx man
Great breakdown. Trying this out today.
Thank you! Let me know how you enjoy it!
another title for this video could be, "Surprise, you're now a hunter main"

Very solid build. I use it as well except i use the asassin/liar class item to add invisibility into the mix.

Calibans/liars is better. No need for the invis when you get that from the aspect “stylish executioner”.
why do you run silk strike over silence and squall?

How do you have 6 fragments ? I can only equip 5
Is there any reason to run liars handshake over a liars/caliban exotic class item?

Is there any way that I can use Stylish Executioner in anyway to switch it up from time to time it's okay if I can't but it's a solid build anyways

@NoOasis O ok thanks
Awesome video man. It's well scripted
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Tried to join your discord..couldn't...maybe I'm not doing something rt
30 mobility on a hunter is not the best strat. ...
He just gets the dodge back from a punch so you don't need the mobility
