I've been a fan of Buzzcocks since 1978 when I was 11. Can't believe I only saw Shelley twice - although, on the second occasion, he did buy me a G&T. If I could go back ...
Love the circa fashions - looks like they've just all been to a night out at the Hacienda . I saw them do a number of live shows only a few weeks after this in Sydney, Australia - dream come true for me although I missed seeing the authentic unit including Maher on drums . Last saw them 7 years ago with the latest rhythm section - all th etracks were played too fast like the drummer was snorting to much stuff and the songs were raced out rather than played out..
I saw the '89 tour too. Have to agree. Really good, tight band. Couldn't help but sing along: "There is...no...love...in...this...world...any...mooooooooooooooooooooore!!"
there is no love...this song is deeper than many could even believe it,like huskerdu s dianne,or toy dolls twinky nelly the elephant, genres not important in this short review, milanotiki

An anthem for all of us hitting our teenage years (ca. 1979-1980) and into this music...seems to often ring true.
It's the aim of existence to offer resistance to the flow of time
I heard the ending mantra, listening to WFMU in 79, and was blown away. One of the greatest R&R songs ever.
Shelley , like his namesake wrote some of the greatest love songs ever .....RIP Pete
There Is Some Love In This World After All.

2:22 - Steve Garvey on bass or Mr. Bean?
I wasn't the only one who thought he aged weird
SD could bash a guitar like nobody
Great band, sweaters by Bill Cosby!
Consummate.
