I love watching these before bed. So comforting and wholesome. I definitely fall into the stringy curl trap because I usually just wash, brush with some leave in conditioner and go to sleep on damp hair. Wake up and throw my hair in a ponytail. I feel like I’m missing out on my beautiful curls because I don’t pay them any attention… 😅 I’ll try this technique next time I have an event and some time before hand.😻 i’ve never seen anyone pull a brush through with tension like that before, definitely looks interesting!
I didn't used to brush style. I just combed in my products and then scrunched. Now that I got the Bounce Curl brush I started brush styling and I can really tell the difference. If I just apply and scrunch, my hair is much stringier and less defined. I will still do that if I am being lazy and not going anywhere.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This is EXACTLY what my hideous stringy wannabe curls needed. I've always had thick, full curly hair, I've never straightened it (😱) but since I was diagnosed with autoimmune disease, my skin hair and nails have just gone to pot. I've noticed it most on my hair and I get a lot of hair loss too which means I no longer have the gorgeous volume in my hair I used to. I can definitely see that by putting in the effort makes a huge difference! Thank you for sharing this life-saver! And yes, I wish I had your curls! ❤
I went through that autoimmune stuff. I won't get into the details, but increasing my protein and taking a hair, skin, and nails vitamin all but stopped my hair loss. But double check with your PCP
@have3kidstoo746 Thank you so much for reaching out with your advice. I'm so sorry you went through it too, I hope you're in good health now.. I will be sure to follow up on your advice, thank you 😊 🩷
I tried your sectioning tip and it actually did help! Ive never sectioned it when styling it down before and it always looked disastrous. I cant wait to see what else I can do with my curls.
Thanks for sharing ! I just watched a video where they advised against brushing the gel through and just brushing the curl cream when brush styling. Her advice was to scrunch the gel in after. But I always get better results by brushing the gel through brush styling. The other channel has wavy hair and not as many ringlets as you so maybe this works better for her. I had massive amounts of frizz when I didn’t comb the gel though. I’m just mentioning because sometimes it gets confusing and I’m not as confident in ways to brush style. I’m not criticizing her either as she’s a lovely Brit too. 😂xx
I’m curious about if when you scrunch out the crunch early, do you still use maybe a serum or something similar to do so? I feel if I use serum to scrunch before it’s fully dry, it just makes me look like a grease ball.
I wanted to ask when you detangle with conditioner in the shower, do you use a comb or brush? I always have combed through my conditioner to get all the knots out... I never would have thought to use a comb and brush after during styling to distribute to product evenly.. I've always just used my fingers! Now I know what I've been doing wrong. Thank you. ❤️
I love your tips and help. My hair is thin and very dry. What is the name of the gel you use? Cann you recommend a shampoo and conditioner to use. I have learnt to love my cutlery hair but I need the right product. I am using moroccon products, however my hair is still very dry. I would appreciate your help. Thanks again. ❤️
I'm a noob when it comes to taking care of my curls. In almost all the videos I've watched, I see some kind of curl cream being applied before the gel. Howcome it was replaced by a leave-in conditioner here? Is curl cream not really essential? Also why is heat protectant needed if you don't use heat? Is it to protect fron sun damage?
Curl cream and leave in conditioner does the same job really, so it’s just down to preference. As she said she prefers a lighter weight one. And I think she uses heat protectant for the diffuser

I'll have a go at this, hope it works..im tired of my frizzy, fine hair and Im very close to just having it chemically straightened.

Looks amazing,I'm so jealous of your beautiful curls. Mine is wavy but ( when wet has more of a curl ) always dries fluffy straight.

Anyone tips for shrinkage? My curls are actually long but the shrinkage especially using a tangle teezer makes it shrinking up so much😩😩
