🏆🏆🏆👍🇺🇲🙏 Very comprehensive explanation and VISUAL presentation I've seen. The light and camera work were great and appreciated. ⭐⭐⭐ I don't think I can do that one-handed, with the spring and cap and getting the bolt in 😔 Thank you for sharing.
Well done Sir! I learned a lot as a visual learner, and I appreciate the way you actually show the work and explain why it's necessary and in what order things should be done!
@@mnbuilt3398 You did a good job, too. I would recommend that in future videos you explain to us non-mechanics why things should be done in a certain order and any tricks of the trade you're willing to share. I am buying a 2022 Pioneer 1000 and look forward to your future instructive videos!
Great video, since you’ve owned this machine, has there been any other maintenance other than oil changes and diff fluids? I’m curious for any other linkage, adjustments or clutch adjustments.
@@WildCard73s we love it. just couple days agp i did another service including the sub transmission. easy to work on, only thing i do not like about it is how sensitive the gas is taking off can be smooth but a little jerky besides that its been a killer machine.
Great video! Question on the front and rear gear oil service, does your model call out for this gear oil to be serviced on the 100 mile service? I have the 1000-6 and on my manual it is not marked on the 100 mile service, it says every two years, just curious on this .. thx
Thanks for the detailed video. A few questions i have As others mentioned, my manual states to CHECK front and final gear oil on the initial service interval, and that replacement isnt required for 2 years. The manual also states, per the initial 100 mile service interval, that the valve clearance be inspected. Curious as to why you would forgo one of the suggested maintenance items while also performing another much ahead of schedule. Thanks for your reply
@mnbuilt3398 explain to me, as if I were a child, why inspecting the valve clearance is a dummy check? Genuinely curious and just want to take the best care of my machine. Thanks for the reply
@@nathangray4593 its like checking it "incase" something came loose and you can catch it beforr it does from the factory it shouldnt change clearances after 100 miles. why 100 and not 300? ya know.
What’s the chance you can go over the accessory switches that come stock on the deluxe models , I can’t seem to figure out how they work or any info on them
i have them as well and there for the oem bed and cab lights on the special edition i cannot find a dource to tap into them and actually see how to integrate them. i need to figure them out

I haven't done the sub tranny yet but I will be soon and I'll be making a video on hownto
Oh , I was referring to the front and rear differential gear oil, I don’t see that called out in the manual until 2 years or so.
Was there any change in how smoothly it shifts after the oil change?
not really

cause im not.worried about the valve lash. thats kore of a dummy check. and as far as fluids go your never hurting anything by doing fluids early ever

Yep honda could have design the oil dipstick alot better. Thought they might have fixed that with the 2022 pioneers
Nicely done video. Is there a difference in a 2019 and 2021. Are you located in FL
no im from mn.
and no id imagine 19 is extremely similar
Have you done the recommended valve adjustment?
nope
Mine doesn’t recommend the diffs at 100 miles either. Why did you change it?
because it wont hurt it, the diff fluid musta been a break in fluid too cause it wad lime green is and not typical gear oil.
Excellent video. Can we ask what this UTV costs? I want one.
paid like 23k out the door with a 6 year warrenty
What is the dot or smaller filter for.
the dct filter is for the trans
What front windshield is that?
cheap amazon
Do they not call for the transmission fluid to be replaced on the first service ?
the transmission fluid is shared by the engine oil. the sub transmission has its own fluid, which no i did not see a service for it at 100 miles
@@mnbuilt3398 I gotcha and the sub transmission takes the same oil as the motor right?
