If someone has worries about being hired as an editor, (Like I had myself before being hired by an American company while living in México) just remember that even the most basic skills like cutting a clip or putting an image in a video are really important. The more you can do the better, of course, but never underestimate what you know because an editor is too valuable. Also, you have to be prepared to solve any technical issue at all times and even the best editors can face an unknown situation. That should be your most important selling point when you are applying. Wish you all the best luck and hope you get hired; I know it is not easy to find any job but never give up and always put your head high.
hello Randalf can I please get in contact with you, I'm a video editor and I work for a company but I don't know if I'm being fairly paid , would love to ask you a couple of questions in your spare time >
@@gigiigr1074 Of course, but I do not know how to get in contact with you. If you want, you can quickly share your email and then delete the comment so nobody else sees it haha. But I think if you are having that question that means something is not right and you should compare with offers from other companies and decide if you should stay there. It all depends of your priorities: You want to grow in that company? You want to have more experience? You have more money? Are the benefits good?
i've been working with premiere since before essential graphics was even a thing and you just blew my mind by showing that effects can be isolated by using folders!! that is HUGE to know! thanks
@@PremiereBasics You're welcome ! Got a question though, cause once I start changing position of this oval rectangle, it goes together with the background video attached. What if I wanted to make the same shape, that starts out of the screen, then it's coming in on the screen and while it's coming in the space inside gets blurred, just the space inside the shape. Hope you get what I mean?
Tymon! This is the first video of yours that I have watched and I am already a BIG FAN! Great tutorial it answered so many questions and thoughts I had. Keep on shining! ✨

I've had this question about how to ceate several layers in one motion graphic in the back of my mind for a couple of days now, and hadn't seen any videos about how to create this effect. Thank you for sharing.
Ooh very much appreciated. I have yet to dive into animated graphics and tbh anything ive done that would be similar in vein I've done in a different sequence so my timeline isn't 20 tracks wide so thanks a ton!
hi, tymon. as always, i love your videos (as a whole in the channel, and with you on board as the main host). i just wanna react, you sounded exactly like jordy. if i close my eyes, it really felt like it's jordy 😁 nice topic... very helpful, not to mention inspiring.
Great tutorial! is it possible to add an effect in the essentials graphic that apply to the video in the sequence? to reuse the essential graphic. Thanks
I edit professionally for a few people. Let me say I had no clue what I was doing when I agreed to a lot of these jobs, editing is like coding, do what you can, if you can’t, just look it up
write on effect. it is way easier in after effects with trim paths but if you don't want to leave premiere pro and the design is simple with no overlapping lines and mostly straight lines, write on effect will get the job done.
ı can put ramp effect in the essential graphics panel but ı can't choose ramp effect in essential graphics because of that ı can't make a group with shape .please, can you help me in order to fix this problem.time is (2:04)
This video actually made me think more highly of intergrated graphics, but... I am still gonna use legacy titles since I can give better results then intergrated graphics.
Just here to say you got the frame gesture on the thumbnail wrong, the point of the gesture is to make a frame so it mimics the look through a camera, in order to achieve the gesture you have point your index to the other hand thumb and likewise with the other index. Sorry for being picky 😇
Hello This is awesome :D , btw how did you edit the video to zoom into a specific place like you did it in 1:46 ? I tried it using different stuff , it never worked xd
I don't know... but I use Ae when I need these things. It's easier and more intuitive. I'm not sure I'm even that familiar with these new motion things inside Pr
Haha that's what I thought. Way easier to do this in AE, but it's impressive to see how capable Premiere Pro is on its own now for people who find AE too intimidating.

Make a folder with just the shape in it and then drag the effects into the folder after the folder is created.

It makes more sense to just learn after effects imo
Depends, AE costs extra and if you're only using it for 1 animation then may as well do it in Premiere and save money.
