I have an A5 Malden-Filofax personal was my first planner in the 80s, used it for decades. I just gave in and bought the A5 Norfolk because I need the large rings, but now I’m worried about my FC pages fitting. Loved my Filofax, it was very sturdy and took a beating. The pink is very pretty!
Nice! I've heard the quality of the older binders is much better. Do you find that to be true? I don't think your FC inserts will fit. Half letter is taller I think.
I’m not sure yet, but the rings in the Norfolk seem flimsier than the older binders. Anyway, I had a pink splurge at your shop tonight, I am very excited to print them out and get started! Thank you for the code, too.
@@Hadassahs-Holt Oh that's not good. I find that the long term users of Franklin Planner also say the quality isn't the same as it was. Thank you for your support of our shop! It means the world to us! I hope you love them. Please let us know if you have any questions about printing.
I definitely will, this is new to me 😂 I am returning the Norfolk, on closer inspection the rings mechanism was flimsy, and the leather felt more like a rubberized material, very odd texture.
@@Hadassahs-Holt Well that's disappointing! I have to move into mine and try it to see how I feel. I'm so used to FC leather so I want to give it a chance.
I had one in Ocher years ago. However it was awkward because I’m in the US and the paper size difference between half letter and A5 was always bugging me so I sold it. Still have it in personal size which is much too small. But I keep it nonetheless.
Yes I've been punching in A5 with my punch and it's not lining up. Ugh. Hopefully I'll figure it out. I really want to set it up. I'm tempted to try the personal but I know it will be too small! I don't blame you for keeping yours. They are nice binders!
Congratulations! I love my Filofax and have used one since the 90’s! Enjoy 😊
Thank you! I am so excited to set it up!
How exciting! She’s very pretty. 😍
Ha ha she sure is! 🤩

Marcia, do you mean A5 inserts aren’t fitting into the Malden? That makes me worry about the FC inserts in the Norfolk A5.
Christine, did you have trouble putting A5 inserts into the Malden? Thanks.
@@Hadassahs-Holt No, they fit OK.
@@christinecortese9973 Thank you!

Oh my gosh that is so obvious now that you say that! 🤣
