I want jimmy page’s voice narrating my life
We all do
Sky Borax 😅😂😇
Especially during your bloated showboating heroin phase
Even at his worst Jimmy was better than 90 percent of guitarists though
Well said 👌 He has very nice voice
3:39 “...I’ve got pretty good control of my hands.” -understatement of the century
“You won’t see me cloned” - Jimmy page
To be living in the generations of Jimmy is a blessing within itself
Jimmy Page was the whole reason I started playing guitar in the first place.
Same here.
same
Yeah, same
Same here man. David Gilmour is the reason why I kept playing.
Same. Page, Angus Young, and Hendrix
So... When is Jimmy going to start narrating BBC nature and science documentaries?
After Morgan Freeman retires. :)
😁😁😁👌👌👌
He mentioned in a skiffle video he was interested in biology.
I remember Ringo Starr playing in Thomas The Tank Engine (voice and actor).
Love Jimmy's voice, I could listen to him tell stories like a grandpa
Jimmy's contribution to rock music is unmatched.
can be easily compared to any of the beatles
The Pale God but not all the Beatles together.... the Beatles as a group have a bigger contribution to rock than Led Zeppelin, or any group for that matter
@@TonySSohal i totally agree the beatles is the greatest band of all time no doubt, lez zepellin and black sabbath comes second imo
Dont forget Chuck Berry
@@najmihakimkhairi1210 Little Richard anyone?
Imagine having one of those hand-painted bodies by Jimmy Page himself...!
Yeah..... 🤔
Page partially painted all of these limited edition guitars. So you WILL be getting one that he painted if you buy one.
Imagine having $25000 to blow on a guitar
@@src248
Or just wait for the mass produced ones....
$1,399.99 sounds reasonable compared to $25,000.00
When Jimmy said, "the guitar is more important than I am at this point."
Man, that hit me as a guitarist we sometimes take our instruments for granted. But the guys that truly ascend are the one that never do.
When I saw that they were hand painted by Jimmy himself, I knew that I'd never be able to afford one 😂
Lol. Yes, any gleam of hope us commoners had was certainly lost the moment Page picked up the paintbrush. :)
I think only a small batch were hand painted. The rest will be printed for mass production. Still his art though
I'm sending him one next month. He said he's paint it over the summer. Great guy. And yes, it's a total bullshit story.
@@gutbucket260 Big LOL on that.....ROFL
6120 the production is $1,400. It’s not that bad honestly. You can go on zzounds or Sweetwater and make payments with no credit check
*cries in poor*
Dutch van der Linde you just need MUNEH
Have a little faith
They’ll have production models, like they do with Hendrix guitars, that are much more affordable
You in *tAHiti* ?
@@ieatyourbrain8478 growing mangoes on my farm, friend.
Just a Jimmy Page speaks about cloned guitars, the Gibson guitar company says they are out to stop cloned guitars.
Which was 4 yrs ago
It's great that Jimmy has finally got himself a proper job, as a guitar painter. Enough of all that silly guitar player stuff. His folks must be proud.
Yuck yuck --
¨Jimmy invited us to his house in London #goals
I went and stood outside it for a while a few years back, it's an amazing place. Jimmy is such a legend.
nå
Propjoe10 I did a few weeks ago. I’ve seen pics of the inside and knowing Jimmy’s beloved sanctuary was behind those bricks was amazing. I loved how unassuming it is and he can just live there. I think I’d have only said “hi Jimmy!” with a friendly wave, if I’d seen him.
It was so cool to see something he’s loved and cared about since like 1971 or so.
Qué haces aquí tío guitar XD
The happiness on his face when they showed him painting, man that’s priceless
There's something about the shot of Jimmy shaking hands with the employees, this man is an absolute legend, one of the greatest guitar players ever, and he's shaking hands with employees at Fender. It's amazing how humble and polite this man is.
Yes. He never speaks poorly of others. Pete Townsend and Keith Richards just trash everyone they speak of, mostly. Ask either about any rival such as Page, Clapton, etc and they just bash them. Jimmy always finds something good to say about literally anyone he is asked about. Pete and Keith are both basically glorified rhythm guitarists...neither plays anything terribly difficult. Keith writes brilliant songs, never cared for The Who though. But Page is the full package. Plays rhythm AND lead, and improvises live to push the music to new places. Class act and my fave guitarist along with Gilmour of Pink Floyd
I love Page's voice, music, eyes, life, smile, hair, body, hands, ...EVERYTHING!
People need to understand the significance of the 1:08 mark. That is the first time SINCE 1969 that his original Tele has been seen! In 1971, Jimmy's friend painted over his Tele and ruined it and it was assumed he threw the body out, but then to see it in this video, brought a tear to my eye
Yes!
Yea. Very interesting. It would appear that sometime between when the guitar was painted and "wrecked" and now it was stripped bare (??). Not much mention of the pickups although they did show what appeared to be something pretty vintage. I also thought that the original neck went to his brown B-Bender telecaster. Did he swap the necks back or at least pull it to measure it up? I would like to see these details brought to light in the near future.
@@marcusharrigan6879 Yea, he stripped it bare, haha. Also, apparently when the guitar was "ruined," it was ruined specifically because the pickups were painted over, apparently only the neck pickup worked. But he sanded it down this past year and has apparently repainted it and the original neck, which ended up on his B Bender Tele, is seen here in the video. So I'd say his is back together again haha
@@AnthonyStatenMusic well the one that most remember, is where hes quoted as saying "as for the body, it will never be seen again," so that was always what I made of it until I read the interview that you mentioned
easy man.. tears? its just a guitar... thats the reason fender and gibson keep ripping money from people. Idolatry is just kinda wrong. Idolatry of objects its even worse... 90% of people that buys those guitars don't even know how to play decently...
No guitar will ever be as important as yourself. Without you. That guitar is nothing. We love you Jimmy!
Jimmy Page is still killing it! Almost 50 years later ,I mean how can you not love this man ♥️
There’s just something about jimmy page that makes me smile a lot.
Fender's killing it this year so far!
Jimmy and that luthier have such great hearts and souls. This was an incredible mini documentary. I loved this. Thank you to all the staff at Fender and Jimmy Page for making this video happen.
Beautiful guitar. I loved seeing how much Jimmy loved and appreciated the process and final result. Well done!
I found that to be rather moving, emotionally. Very touching. 😢🤗😊♥️
Always a gentleman and always so humble!
He was known as a Les Paul player to the general public and the media but most of his Iconic studio recordings happened with the Tele.
Nah. 1st album. From the 2 nd album on it was mainly LP. And strats, tele, Dano , double neck. Most of Presence was a Strat.
You forget the Stairway to Heaven solo was done on a Tele through a Supro amp.
Seen a lot of hate about this and I kind of understand it. But this is an iconic guitar and I'm glad its likeness was saved. I'd really like one. I don't really care if it's the production model or the custom shop model. The look of it is unique and iconic. The playability, who knows? But it made some great sounds in it's time.
I always prefered Page with a Tele instead of a LP.
Me too.
FeS FeO2 while aesthetically interesting, the double neck is on very little recordings and doesn’t sound particularly great. Especially compared to the Tele and those Les Pauls
Nothing beats Jimmy's 1969 live guitar tone
''you won't see me cloned''
me: dammit
Jimmy is....i don't even know how to explain it...he's so passionate about what he does and his guitars and he's just, again, I don't even know how to explain it...me as an aspiring guitarist watching him is inspiring i guess you'd say but there's this other feeling that I just can't put my finger on quite yet..but it's there...Jimmy is amazing both musically and spiritually, i think that's how'd you say it, but he is a real legend.
This man will live forever.
You can feel the emotion in this video. The pride that they have for this creation is so immense
I love this man. Adored and admired him for years. LZ has always been and will always be my favourite band. So wish I could meet him. Cheers Jimmy.
It's great when your boss tells you that you did a great job, but its something else entirely when Jimmy Page seeks you out to thank you for all your hard work.
Nigel Oulton - It's the money that he's thanking you for. Without that he'd have his lawyer sue you for every penny you could possibly make off using his name, and then some for all the pain and suffering you have caused him by not negotiating his percentage of the profits first.
And remember that when a boss gives you praise that just means you're underpaid and don't realize it. Even God will tell you that praise doesn't amount to sh*t when you're being nailed to the cross.
Man, you musst be a pain in the ass.
“The guitar is more important than I am at this point. It’s true.” True humility from a Master of his craft.
You can see the amount of love and effort that are put in the building of those guitars ! Nice job Fender ! And nice job Jimmy, as you did the first one !
Makes me emotional, this is such a beautiful video. Thank you JIMMY and thank you FENDER
Aaaaaa, I was desperately waiting for Jimmy to play that guitar!!! :C
David Condis y Troyano
Or at least the front and back of the completed product
that man hasn't done anything for free his entire life lmaooo.
I remember well. It was 46 years ago. I would sit in front of a console stereo that my mom had moved into my room. Guitar in hand I would listen and try to copy every song on Led Zeppelins 3rd and 4th albums along with the soundtrack from The Song Remains The Same. A few years later I acquired my first stratocaster and fell in love with Fender. Today I'm a 60 year guitarist/mandolinist. My main guitar that I love and cherish is my '85 Squire stratocaster. I've owned other Strats, but since '93 "Baby" has been my love. Very soon I plan to purchase my very first telecaster. I been putting off buying a tele for about 35 years. I love Jimmy Page and I love Fender. I actually have the Fender logo tattooed on my left arm between my wrist and elbow, LOL! Yeah, I'm an idiot.
He seems to be such a humble gentleman who I would love to call my friend. What a grate human being with such a huge talent but you would never know by talking to him. Jimmy is the GOAT!!!😎✌☯️
This is still one of the coolest moments in guitar making history.
I’m not crying you’re crying
Page is god
ah movie references
You’re not wrong 😤😤
When he says the guitar is more than i am I literally cried
I know... right? Dammit!
What a great story behind a truly historical guitar.
What's really cool is that this story was given a full page article in my local newspaper...TWICE, once when it was announced they were doing this and once when it was finished.
Does it come with a cello bow tho?
pasted from guitarworld.com : "The “Dragon” custom shop model includes a custom hardshell flight case, white seatbelt-style strap, super-long white leather strap, red coiled cable, violin bow, rosin, Herco guitar picks and Page-signed Certificate of Authenticity."
Sweet!
Nibras h. It actually does lmao
Wow. Fender really knocked this one out of the park.
@Chuck Finley you know the key element mister, ⚡🎸🎶
When I listen to Jimmy Page playing his Tele in the first live performances with Led Zeppelin, I think, "That is the sound"... I don't have anything against Les Pauls, but the electricity sound through Page's guitar in 'How many more times' is simply awesome...
Thanks Jimmy for all the great music, good times and beautiful memories through the years.
So humble and genuine. Much love and respect for JP.
Can you imagine going to Jimmy Page’s house? That must have been surreal! I’m so excited for this guitar. I’ve always loved the Dragon Tele! Great job Fender!
MJR Initiative I’ve walked up and down the street past it and that was thrilling in itself- cannot even imagine going IN it! I see what he’s hot and bothered about with his neighbors- the latest one is doing obnoxious work next to his studio.
I saw him play that guitar at the Cheetah in Chicago with the Yardbirds. Fabulous show.
And you can remember it?you must be doing something right.
For one of the fathers of hard rock guitar, what a gentle guy and not a swear word in sight! Bravo Jimmy!
This is a brilliant reconstruction of an iconic piece of music history and I consider myself lucky to even be able to see it recaptured in my lifetime. Thank You Mr. Page, You are my hero.
I could only dream of affording such an iconic guitar.
I think Syd did the mirrored look first. Would love to see a Syd Esquire.
i love this man with every fiber of my being
The details are amazing. The master builder even found the same grain in the wood. Amazing.
"You won't see me cloned" 😟
Think I'd almost buy the mirror over the dragon if I get the cash together. Regardless I'm happy Fender is working with Jimmy to bring this piece of history back to life and to the players.
Nah, get the dragon. Parts of it hand painted by JP. It's a guaranteed investment. Get it, play it lightly. Like an hour a week and never leave the house with it. And consider it your 401k that you'll sell and make a lot of money on when you are an old man.
I wish they'd make a Syd Barrett mirrored esquire while they're at it
Russian Bot when and how can you buy this beauty

That was just beautiful. Every word and every step taken was purely amazing
such an amazing character this Page guy!
Jimmy Page is a genuine legend.

Isak Niasso that actually belongs to Jerry Miller of Moby Grape, Jimmy page and Clapton have both been influenced by Jerry Miller. That guy could take a lick anywhere.. check him out

get along opinions are like assholes everyone’s got one. Page and Clapton said it themselves..
Michael Lavender I think Jimmy Page said it’s Hendrix
i remember first getting into zeppelin and seeing jimmy with that guitar and i honestly just fell in love from there
I could listen to Jimmy Page all day. I wish I could have one of these Teles, especially with Jimmy's input - might have made me a better player😄😄✌️👍💜😊
Jimmy ❤️ Page King of all epitome coolness!! It's so amazingly awesome to see him more comfortable talking & being so genuinely natural down to earth gentleman 🤴 🙌 💯🥰💞😎
James Page, the Gentleman Rocker.

He's a man of wealth and taste.
Art Howard Music yeah man, he’s been around for a long long year...
Man do I love Jimmy Page. EVH and later Rhoads were my top guitar heroes (and still are to an extent). Page is Gandalf. The Mighty One. Some of the most iconic riffs in history, yet you could pick out a few on your guitar. His playing was accessible. He is the greatest IMHO. Love you Jimmy Page. Thank you for being a BIG part of my soundtrack. Your playing is lifeblood.
Wonderful collaboration! Jimi, nice to see him again!
as a person who forms personal appreciation for those who I admire artistically, its great to see jimmy so delighted and moving around doing what his true will beckoned him to do. he's remarkably youthful for a man who's lived such a heavy life, I gues is true "condition not age".
This is even more awesome because jimmy actually painted the guitars so you actually have a guitar partially made by jimmy himself 😁
ONLY a select limited batch are hand painted, not every model. The rest are just prints (general production runs).
Much love jimmy :,)
This is the most beautiful guitar/guitarist alliance in the last decades... I want that so bad...
Well... Still can not belive this happened.... Was waitting for this day in my life since i was a teenager...And it finally happened when i am 33 years old... Wont be able to afford one but hope one day I will get it....
The best model of telecaster
*0:38** I'm assuming thats a nod to Syd Barrett*
Chris Farley , yea, they need to make a Barrett Telecaster.
I read something a long time ago that suggested the way Syd adorned his tele was the primary inspiration for JP to do the same.
God Bless you Jimmy Page and Paul.....great work! You are the reason why I play guitar.
What a wonderful job these guys do. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about guitars, and yet I envy these guys. I imagine a musician.
Imagine the value of this guitar. Maybe billions for me...but "histerically value" or "feeling value", well...priceless for me.
Jimmy Page *the legend*
Awesome!! Really like them. Jimmy seems to be happy with the outcome too :)
What a gentle soul Jimmy is
Whats cool is that Jimmy is so into the guitar details!!! Not for himself, but made available for guitar players, like us to experience. Love to pick one up.
So beautyy and cool🎸❤
His presence gives it life.
Imagine a guitar who lost its owner . I have mixed feelings about this.
Jimmy Page is one of the most amazing people on this planet. I've been reading a biography of his life and it's amazing, he is incredibly polite and intelligent
So many of the great British rock guitarists put their personnel touches to these lovely tele’s. These guitars will last for generations. Beautiful weapons for making beautiful music
Legendary guitar for a legendary player
Wait...what will happen if i go to a guitar store to test one out and play Stairway to Heaven?
The prophecy will be fulfilled but you will also be sneered at
Ya need da dbl neck for that
No stairway? Denied!
Denied!
Well ok, aint buying it then....not because i cant afford it you know...
Dammm just dammm. Jimmy is a living legend and to be able to own a piece of history is amazing. 👍👍🎸🎸
I should be studying right now but okay, watching Jimmy Page go on about his dragon Telecaster is more important for me at this point.
Wow, that old Japanese guy does a great British accent

Mr Waller, aside from meeting the legend, to have Jimmy Page compliment your work, would you say that is and always will be the high light of your life? I'm glad that you have the ability and skill to be able to see the project through. Jimmy Page seemed very proud of your work. Great job!!
These guys are the human element. Craftsmen. Bravo Fender. Thank you.
“The guitar is more important than I am at this point...it’s true” there’s something very sad about this. Very humbled.
Very good
I wonder why this hasn't come out erlier! Damn, what a time to be alive
I love how genuine his reaction is to the guitars. Incredible work Fender
Syd Barret also used a mirrored guitar
A Jazzmaster signature for Kevin shields. He deserve it.
A jazzmaster for Tom Verlaine.
I love JP ... the master of all of us. And Fender is to be congratulated for bringing this guitar back to life ... this is a dream come to life.
Jimmy Page you rock! It is because of you and a few others that I have always wanted to play guitar. I am 58 now and I am finally doing it. I would be happy if I could just play 1/3 of how you play. My hats off to you sir. Thank you and your band mates(all band mates) for all the amazing music and inspirations over the years. I wish you love and health sir.
