Aw, Karen. As someone who's been struggling with unemployment, even though I took a break for a while on purpose, I totally feel you. And I let my UA-cam channel lapse about 5 years ago when my partner and I split up, and going back to it has felt like something I'd want to do, but I haven't had the bravery to try again. So you're not a failure if you keep trying! Maybe this start is the start of your true UA-cam journey! I'll always be here to watch you!
You inspired me to do the conqueror challenge! We all go through the wet fart of mid-life crisis. Choose not to be a failure, get out there and try something crazy different that you wouldn't normally do or consider. It helped me find my way again, meet better quality people, find meaningful employment and settle. You got this!
If I could , I would pack up and move somewhere else (been wanting to for ages), but for now that has to be put on hold. So my alternative is to hopefully travel a bit more next year. 🤞

I am in the exact same spot. Not financially stable to get a place of my own. I cannot afford rent at all on a apartment. I rent a room. I try to focus on situations that I can control. I set up mini goals that are achievable. Take baby steps and when u achieve even a small goal then u should celebrate that as well not just the big goals.
Your channel gave me peace when i needed them cuz i mourned my toxic relationships with you. Im in your corner. Right now it sounds like you are not enjoying anything. You are stressed out with high expectations for someone overworked. Do what you want. Just know to me you are a lot. Fun spunky and just an overall presence❤ oh and of course a reminder to sit with my feelings

If I may... I disagree that your channel is a failure. Is the point of YT not to just create something and reach people who want to watch it? I want to, and I'm guessing, but not assuming, that the other 2.5k others who made the conscious choice to click on your subscribe button do as well. I care about what you're going through and can totally empathize. The difference between us is that you have the courage to put it out there, that's guts sweetie! 👏 I love your videos, all of them! However, if this isn't bringing you joy, then at least you know. You are not a failure, I don't believe such a thing exists. We're all doing our best to get the most out of the time we have as we don't know how long that is. Waking up in the morning is reason enough to be "successful". I am very sorry you're struggling and truly hope you find the path which is meaningful for you, but if I've learned one thing on my own journey, it's that I'm the only one who can react or give meaning to whatever I'm going through. According to what UA-cam dictates, this channel is a failure. 😅 And anyone who makes videos here wants their channel to grow. My growth is bad and the subs are a weird mish-mash of all the times I kept changing content. Trust me, my channel stats say most of the views I do get are not from subs lol. But I appreciate the sentiment. This was a stream of conscious over current stresses. One thing I do wish is I had the intelligence to create a channel of something I’d enjoy but I kept myself in a box I couldn’t get out of. Live and learn, y’know? But I guess I don’t learn because I keep choosing the wrong paths in life. Anyway, thank you for being here! I hope you’re well!

Keep pushing forward at whatever pace you can. Post when you can and feel up to it.. no pressure. I will always be glad to see an update or watch while you try on things until you find your feet. You are fun and have a great since of humor and I have always enjoyed your videos. You've been thru alot of changes so be gentle with yourself..take care my friend.
I started watching you because of your walking. That’s what I’m trying to do as well, but not very hard. Just kinda hung around after that because you are talented at making interesting videos even if I can’t relate to everything. It’s a quality production. Someday you will make a video on something that will just take off. For example. My videos are dry, raw and boring. Buy I made a short with my son and a $26 rc airplane yesterday. It’s approaching 500 views in less than a day! What the heck?! So stick with it, if you so desire.
Hey Karen. Last time I commented, I got a little flap for not being delicate. Since I don't really care about other people's judgment of what I say or do...I want to recomend that you draw some inspiration from top performing Women of color. I think you need strength. I'm just discovering that I've fallen into a victimhood mentality. I was so freaked out by such a revelation, I feel like I've clawed my way out of the abyss faster than the speed of light! We all have something to deal with. Getting ahead of it is where the sweet spot begins. ❤
If my eagle eye was working, I think you had an active NC500 code on your conqueror app and I haven’t seen a medal. Get back to it, even if you’re not feeling it. Your presence has been missed from another crisis haver from Perth Western Australia :)

I got to a point where I needed an intervention- and started Zepbound to just make my body do what it was supposed to do and not plateau.
