Amazing Whale Encounter | Vancouver Island, BC

Just recently bought a 13' Stryker Boat and this was my first "long" trip out in it to see what I could find around North Vancouver Island. It was a beautiful day with mixed sun and clouds. the perfect weather to photograph some wildlife. I took off from Port Hardy and headed north and it wasn't long before I had an incredible encounter with a humpback whale named 'Graffiti.' It's moments like these that make you feel alive, small and grateful. Loved being able to have this moment with this whale and the other animals I saw along the way.

Nice edit Geoff, I like the creative use of the fisheye and the dynamic zooms. I was filming underwater in Mexico around Christmas and the humpbacks were singing in the background, it was special. It's kind of a dream of mine to see one while snorkeling, they're amazing creatures.
