hi guys , on this video I will show you how to replace the abs speed sensor on a Pontiac torrent , this should also work on a Chevrolet Equinox ,
it might work on a Saturn Vue but I am not 100% sure ,

Did mine last night. Quick tip, you dont have to cut the into the dust shield. Just bend it back/forward and use a needle nose pliers to pull out the sensor. Its a little tricky to put back on, but it can be done without cutting the dust shield. Other then that, great video!

This help me but you did way more than what you needed to you don't have to replace the wire and you don't have to take it out that saves about five steps let's do it easy and fast but thanks for the good video

but what if the wire is bad ? you'd think you had another issue not the sensor and end up spending more money "fixing" something else, bottom line, if it works why complain.
If you have to tear up part of the dust shield to remove the sensor...you’re probably not doing it correctly...

If the sensor is broken then why not just cut the wire instead of ripping up your dust plate?
Question I have is on my pontiac it says it overheating but it's not could what causes that I've changed everything in the cooling system
What if the lights are on (ABS and T/C) but no codes show? I bought one used and immediately changed the oil. Took on a trip across Oklahoma with zero issues. It did great and no error lights. A month or so later those lights come on. I am stumped.

Same problem on ma’s 08 no scam tool but can I reset it?
I hooked my scan tool up and wasn't able to reset it. I even tried unplugging them and replugging.

Bending the metal won’t hurt anything if he bends it back. Most mechanics forget to put it back on anyway. I always recommend checking after having someone else work on your vehicle
I know this is an old vid but I got a quick question. My abs/traction control lights turn on but only after I've been driving for a little (usually less than a quarter-mile). Before it turns on I occasionally feel the abs engaging but it makes it incredibly hard to push the brakes. Do you think this video still applies?
You have to take it to a mechanic so he can put the abs machine to read the codes. They can do it for free.
