Hi Wayne thought i share this in case no one thought of it the yellow led set which is wrong not blue. Used to test out the circuits that hav'nt been connected yet in the front and rear of the car using cars power supply. As well as the loose connectors in the middle waiting for the roof and body attachments. Instead of trying to rig up with battery pack.
NM screws are fine for the job as you demonstrated Wayne. Have fun with the light bleed, i did with black tape. Repainted mine with Humbrol Satin 196 due to the awful EM paint job,
The black box doesn’t light up. I filed away the black circular lights as it’s clear plastic and put a green bulb inside it. Same with the rectangle light on the black box and put a red light behind that 👍 Looks like it wasn’t just my sun visors mate. Plenty to work on with this issue.
I wonder if a small dab of grease on the sun visor pins might be viscous/thick enough to stop the visor from flapping. I might use CA glue to glue the pin inside the visor so that the pin itself rotates when you move the visor. The grease trick might work for that.
FAO subscribers - the lights supplied in 84-87 are wrong and despite the note included with the issues saying the wrong light had been corrected, the correct LED is coming with 88-91 delivery.
Hi wayne.. i had screw issues i did use nm as per instruction but i had to use a bp in he front centre as it was not not gripping atall. I had a note saying they changed my leds but they were still yellow. I phoned them and they were not sure and are looking into it.
I really hope that someone comes up either with pieces to cover all the screw holes. That or replacement parts for them. So ugly, and takes away from the look of this kit.
No jokes, honest. But, These are screws, NOT something edible. I am Bringing you to shame if you were to try and swallow them. :) Thank you for letting me point that out. :D
oh no just looked closer and the super glue melted some wires looks like i'm going to need three replacement issues to fix it ....So a warning to others to be careful.
cable number 14 got melted but that works cable number 17 looks like its ok but no lights i'll try a new board and see how i go and a new power cable as that has melted also had no idea zap a gap would melt stuff......super glue might have leaked into and on the dash light board.
I assume you have tries changing the polarity? Mine was wired wrong and i turned the plug over and it started working... check the main plug on the circuit board and also the connector under the dash where you connect them togeter as the polority may be wrong there.
Glad u mentioned the 2 blue LEDs I didn’t think I needed to check... unbelievable.
It's bad isn't it

It looks really bad if it's left as is.
Hi Wayne, these 2 things which is so loose are the 2 Lens Hood for the Driver and Passenger side.
Yep. Once they are secured to the frame they work fine :D

Its not so bad once its connected to the frame
I’ve got 2 white LEDS for the flux bands, Any idea what we are supposed to have ?
Blue I think. The white will probably look better lol

Not good when you get it from the newsagents
World of Wayne will you not be able to get another from newsagents or do you have to buy one? Thanks

I do have some blue LED's here anyways but I am not planning on using their optic fibre anyways so I don't think it will effect me
Are you going to do a video checking the lights wayne?
I'm too scared. What if they don't work. I don't think I can take that kind of rejection :D

Wayne try Specsavers mate lol😂👍
I need jam jars the way I'm going PMSL
i had no trouble

Not good. Is that the wires for the three LED's or the two?

I did issue 59 and the dashboard lights don't work all others do tried everything :(
Not good.

I tried everything but the problem is i used super glue on some of the things so taking it apart is a problem but i'll keep trying.
