based on your Yamaha review I went ahead and ordered it as well as the Delorean. It will be interesting to compare thw wo since both are about same length.Alredy done first 10 issue of the Delorean and ordered some of the mods i.e. Power and Carpeting so far. Great channel you have enjoy every installment.
Had the same issue with the wires under/over. The green and blue wires popped off the LED as soon as I pushed it into place. So now I have to figure out the LED polarity so I can solder it back together.
My rear lights didn't work out like many others. But I don't like how the reverse, blinker indicators and tail lights are all on with the normal on mode. I have the brake pedal issue where the brake lights are on as well. So I just disconnected the leds for the signal and reverse so just tail lights are on. I am not taking the body off and doing issue 91 again it was a nightmare. lol. I think it looks good how I have it set up. I will be in a case so no need for the brake pedal switch working.
Have you started issue 93 yet? The wires are the wrong way round! On the chassis the 8 and 12 connectors are on the drivers side. On the bumper, it tells
I know it's not strictly related to your video but you may hit 10,000 by the end of this year!! O.O And I for one fully DEMAND a celebration video with a party hat and one of those party blower things. And a cake.
Brilliant work Wayne as ever. Those tail lights are so iconic! I fitted mine and they work fine except for the brake lights! Grrrr! Ha Any ideas as to why? I removed the lights again and checked the black and white wires were correct and on and they were. I know it's just a minor thing but I want them to work. They should work. Thanks in advance for any help. :)
Have you started issue 93 yet? The wires are the wrong way round! On the chassis the 8 and 12 connectors are on the drivers side. On the bumper, it tells you to run the 8 and 12 wires to the passenger side. (Remember its a left hand drive car)
i Have the dutch version of the delorean and the first thing i noticed is that you have 2 cables for rear lights. and after do the step,i tested the light and get turn lights and reverse lights. And brake light do not work.
Yeah, that thing you put together? Take it apart. What? I hate that about these things, they give you something in the first 2 issues to probably encourage you to keep going and they just don't get used until much later in the build. From the look of this, it's not worth doing the rear bumper until it's ready to put on. Enticing me to keep paying for the subscription though. I want a model DeLorean and would like to put it together. But bits here and there annoy me. I believe The Knight Industries Two Thousand does this and so does the Ecto, probably the Dodge as well. Worth checking out the condition and quality of the parts though.
I noticed ... THAT.... straight away, wayne :D But in my defense I only just completed issue 91. I think most of all builders are going to be doing the body to chassis step more than once I think.
@@WorldofWayneUK Yeah I had to redo the process at least twice because of wayward wiring at the front and back and those seatbelts deciding to hide under the bulkhead "floor".
On the real car, the black bumper is all one piece with the silver part. It's all one piece of black injection-molded polyurethane. The silver part is painted and the black part is just left alone.
One is concerned about your R 2 build. By my reckoning your 2 mths behind. ( 8 issues ) ....issue 91 the whole mag is build instructions. But 92 all you do is charge batteries lol.
Maybe the light does both in that area because the number plate area had clear plastic. and were engine light is tobthe led which is mounted would give light to both. just an idea what you think
Sorry, just to clarify, the first LED light that is fitted in this issue is shown in the magazine as over the engine bay light hole but not pushed through it. Is this right? Doesn't seem to do anything otherwise but my LED doesn't fit through the hole anyway.
How reliable is the company that these parts come from ive heard so many bad reviews about the company not sending issues out to customers . Can these issues be purchased from newsagents instead great build mate well done
@@WorldofWayneUK that's great I might do the same thing . If I was going to start this build and I know it will cost a fortune when complete can I start from issue 1 if I order it from whsmiths
Hey Wayne, that single light that was on the back of the body (the one with the green and black wire) I suspect is the license plate light. You might want to recheck it as it probably goes in a hole just above the license plate. It should also come on when the other running lights come on.

Fantastic!! Great video!! Greetings from Guadalajara, Mexico!! I'm collecting it too!!
Loving your work 👍🏻
Very iconic look at the rear now
i think i got a problem with issue 91 or the circuitboard may be damaged...what do you think?
Love you video I’m waiting for a replacements
Yes all four blue lights should be working now with the light in the bonnet cant believe I have to wait to prob the 28 befor I get all them good parts

All the add ons for the different film versions I'm guessing.

Yer. Either control board, wire detached or wire detached at led end
Looking good Wayne
Hopefully you will be doing a tutorial for the el wires ;)!
I just finished 91. That was torture!
What powers the door lights and the front turn light? Mine aren’t Turing on after 91
The loghts turn on automatically when the door opens
To quote Charlie Brown “RATS!!!”
I think because it’s going to be a static decoration, I shall not take that top off of that car again!! Lol

What are the sizes of the LED lights on the delorean? Because I need to replace all the lights because the wiring is crap
Quite a few different sizes and also some small LED's

cool. I thought they did but I have used the pins for a power mod with EL rope lights :D

@@simonlewis1470 nah the engine bay has a hole that you push the LED in. It's not really anywhere near the centre where the number plate is.

Check your batteries and that the connectors are the right way round on the circuit board

I like how you pronounce three. Fwee.
Hi world of wayne 2moro I will finish issue 95 fitting the front lights and then test can not wait
so did you figure out the problem with the wires?
Yep. It had just come detached when I sandwiched the car together in the last stage
@@WorldofWayneUK thats great news
Have u done it noe
Hi wayne where does the wire 22 go on the rear left
Lol I have no idea if numbers . What colour is it?
@@WorldofWayneUK the one at the back left hand side
I think that's for the flux bands
World of Wayne yeah it is so will be a later stage
Were your reverse lights orange or is it just due to the camera phone ?
my phone gives some funky colours lol
World of Wayne ok, looking forward to the front section now 👍
Hi what's the news on Ghostbusters build up
You forgot to put in engine bay light LED!!!
Tail and brake lights are wrong way around!!! :)

what's in 93
the headlights
my inner light is white not yellow

It's there somewhere lol. I'll have to 're add it to the playlist.
