Is there a way to change the color in the control panel? I'd like the control (odometer) panel to match the ambient lighting. I currently have it set up to orange, but when I change the ambient lights to blue, would like the odometer panel tp change to blue too. Any thoughts?
@Henry Jackson - seems to be that ambient lighting might be going bad. Have u also tried to make instrument cluster at bright and has that helped with ambient light?
I am trying to screen mirror from iPhone I got BimmerCode app and adaptor too and enable the video in motion but my iPhone is not mirroring. I have X5 2019 G05

Screen mirror just for Android phone if you need to cast from iPhone if have HDMI Port can bay chromecast google and it work with eny phone but don't forget coded video in motion in bimmercode

@carlos Moreno - so check two settings, first right next to your headlight switch there should be a scroll wheel, turn up the brightness and than also in idrive for the led strip. I know you can decouple the led from instrument cluster haven't seen increasing the intensity via bimmercode yet.
@@SheziMotorsport sorry but i dont have led strip in my f15. Only basic pack led. I turned up the light cluster with the button and it's still the same. Very low at first and if you press up it becomes strong. Thannk you very much for your response
@carlos Moreno - ok sorry didn't know you didn't have the led strip in the car than u won't have the idrive setting I was referring too. You don't be able to change the light brightness other than dial on the headlight module.
I look forward to seeing how to purple back. I had in it and then the software update from BMW eliminated all coding from 3070 to this 3076 RGB. I can’t figure out now how to get it back. I had purple and green
@Arman Sokhakyan - you are not going to find purple, you will have to mix the ensemble layer R G B to get the purple tint. As in blue factory there is hint of green as well as it is selected by default...
@youvraj sherrill - restore should take you to the original point but I have never done a restore and heard done horrible stopped about restore.. you are probably better off factory resetting your idrive.

@Avery Ortiz - from what I know f30 doesn't have option for different ambient lighting, you can have classic or modern only so I don't you will be able to change it.

@markman1000 - you sure it's not 8 default color options you see in idrive.. it should be top 3. Can u share some screenshots via Instagram...I can try to look.
@Marksman1000 i have the same but you only need to code layer 1 to layer 3 for each. The rest are usually inactive so doesn't matter if you change the colours, nothing happens because there are only 3 layers in the car.

Hello. I noticed that your iDrive system does not play media automatically on startup. For some reasons my media (Radio, CD) starts playing automatically when I start my car or switch on iDrive system. Do you have an idea of how to disable autoplay on startup, please?

I did this and after a while the drivers door showed different colour than the rest of the car, I tried recoding but same problem, stock colours work fine though.
I have OEM ambient lighting on a F10 5 series, I've seen a vid UA-cam of someone with a F10 with the ambient lighting working. I am familiar with bimmercode but not with expert mode 😭
@kasimboxer - from what I know 5 series only had two color options and didn't come with multiple color option.. you can check my 3rd video as the developer had updated the ambient lighting options in easy mode ua-cam.com/video/hQTiR2Ljr74/v-deo.html. I thought 5 series only had modern and classic.
@david jacobs - if u go to ur idrive menu --> setting or vehicle settings --> lighting there should be two options. Classic and modern. Modern is white and classic is orange. Those two come standard even in f10. Please check and let me know. That's for ambient lighting
It's all RRG hex codes, you can enter manually what ever rgb color in format rrggbb so every pair is hex form 00 to FF for specific r g or b Check some online rbg color picker... 00FF00 is all full green - because R=00 G=00 and B=00 FFFF00 is yellow 😂
@Tsykel - f15 has only those options, where ambient can be changed the dome light can be changed as well but doesn't have layers like the dash,door,foot well.

There must be more selectable LAYERS, also seems like you are forgetting the Dome light (GROUP_0_FABRE_ENSEMBLE_x)
