"The Sith killed each other. Victims of their own greed. But from the ashes of their destruction, I was the last survivor. I chose to pass my knowledge onto only one." - Darth Bane.
If the timeline is as said, Darth Tanebrous is well alive and Darth Plagueis is either found and trained to be come a Sith Aprentice or is already an aprentice. The acolyte(s) are probably most likely pawns used to fool the Jedi. The grand plan was not to be mesed with.

I'm reading Darth Plagueis for the first time, and stumbled upon this paragraph: As he had told Sidious, even a trained Jedi could succumb to the lure of the dark side on his or her own. One hundred thirty years earlier, on a former Sith world in the Cularin system, a Padawan named Kibh Jeen had been so strongly affected by the lingering power in a fortress on Almas that he submitted himself to the dark side and initiated a systemwide conflict (pg 260). So anyways, my guess is that Kibh Jeen will be the Acolyte
No it's the black girl the trailer strongly suggests. She'll be angry at the Jedi for enslaving her as a black female, claim Yoda to be racist and declare war against the Republic.
Hear me out - there's another way it could work. What if in that scene, all the Jedi fighters bite the dust, except for our main POV character, and the Sith unit makes a hasty retreat for some unknown reason? The lone survivor reports his findings to the Grand Master, who, considering it's about a century before the prequel story, would probably still be Yoda (or he'd at least be the next in line). They [Yoda alone or with the current GM] decide to keep it hush-hush, to maintain the illusion that the Jedi are still at the height of their power/to maintain calmness. Might have some plot holes, but hey, I didn't delve too deep into the details, haha!
If that’s a Sith then it could be how Yoda knew of the Rule of Two as said in Clone Wars The Sith may have thought to been destroyed and the Jedi Council covered up the incident like how they tried to cover up Qui-Gon being killed by Sith Lord Darth Maul at first Still red sabers aren’t exclusively Sith, could be a Dark Jedi, or part of a Dark Side Cult But if it is Sith then again it can be an incident that’ll foreshadow the Sith’s full return and the Jedi Council covering it up

I just hope they don't destroy Yoda.Or Mace. They for sure want to destroy everything that George Lucas did.
Plaguies has an apprentice before sidious and the main cast Jedi that find the Sith will be eliminated by the apprentice with the exception of Yoda, killing the apprentice. Plaguies stays hidden in the shadows and Yoda becomes the grandmaster after the encounter, leaving the question for the Jedi, was it actually the sith ?
I do think the sith are in the show, tenebrous would be quite interesting but at this point in the timeline I think. It would be Darth Gean following her disfigurement in destroying Darth Gravid, so her searching for a new "acolyte" isn't uncommon
Darth Gean was apprenticed to Gravid in 553BBY and Twileks have an average lifespan of 75 years, so she was most likely not around during the time The Acolyte takes place.

I think that the secret of the Sith and the master and apprentice role is that the Master takes on an apprentice. The apprentice has to be strong enough to kill or defeat the master. Then the masters power and essence passes into the apprentice so by the time of Palpatine he wields the power of all the Sith Masters before him going back to Darth Bane. It’s almost like a demonic possession in that the Master raises up its host apprentice and then takes that person over. So it’s almost like by the time of Palpatine there’s a legion of Sith living inside of him.
I never believe Dooku was a Sith. He had a decent amount of power, but never seemed to crave more. He was more of an idealist, using power for a means... at least, that is how I saw it.
You have it wrong I watched the show already I’m giving guys a clue it’s between Darth Venamis or Darth Tenebrous which both got killed by Darth Plagueis for being careless and letting The Jedi Temple knowing their whereabouts. In the end Darth Plagueis knew someone from Naboo in the Senate is strong with the force and has no love for the Jedi ruling and being a part of the governance so he cloud is visions in his dreams showing what he could be being with him in the law of two but we know how it ends what comes around goes around.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I thought only Sith could have red blades because it takes great power in the dark side to bleed a crystal. Now I know some will say Ventress had red blades, but I believe her sabers were given to her by Dooku.

We will see if Leslye Headland actually follows the canon history, I'll watch the show and hope for the best. She has had issues with Lucas and is more an Acolyte of Kennedy than anything else.
Let's hope Leslye Headland, Kathleen Kennedy, and Disney will stick true to the SW Universe after having to redo this from scratch. Right now, I'm not confident they will launch a fantastic product. This isn't something that has to align with other shows currently on Disney's SW plate, so who knows how they will toss this out. Disney made many Jedi survive the purge. I could see Disney having Sith survive Bane. Not to mention some underlying political theme of some sort, to completely screw it up.
I have a funny feeling this acolyte is going to have some kind of alicron of an ancient Sith or something or somewhere and I find it interesting that she’s on the same planet that Luke was on when they found him when he was old 😂 I find it interesting that if you remember the story that planet was close to the force both dark and light so who knows I just wanna see a good movie or series
My theory is that she is killing Jedi in an attempt to force the Sith to reveal themselves. With the master doing so at the end, slaughtering all the Jedi who witnessed their reveal...
See the Only thing I feel that The Jedi or Yoda knew about the Sith’s existence was at Jinn’s Funeral where Yoda Says Always 2 there are telling that he knows about the Rule of 2 and The Rule of 2 came into existence after the Sith went into hiding so that means if the Jedi thought the Sith were extinct its not logical of them knowing about the rule of 2 and if Yoda knows or has the Idea of the Rule of 2, So i’d believe something happened which only some of Jedi who are the highest the Jedi order and tried to cover it up.
Mandalorian Season 3, Ahsoka and now the Acolyte, which I'd like to remind everyone we know basically nothing substantial about yet, prove that the 'fanbase' is impossible to satisfy. People will always find something to bitch about in this franchise; that, more than anything Disney has done (which, btw, I agree they haven't been entirely good for SW, but they're not the great Satan yall make em out to be, either) is what is slowly killing SW for me. You can *never* escape the hatred of anything new.
Its entirely possible this IS a sith. The jedi are known to keep secrets too. Yoda may not have been in the know about what ever unfolds in this series, thus not breaking cannon. Oftentimes, the simplest answer is the correct one.
She's a Red Herring trained by Darth Tenebris to distract the Jedi while the Sith infiltrate the Senate. ... if the Jedi withdraw now, they can probably save the order. ... but they would lose the galaxy. The Acolyte is a pawn that allows for Total Victory!!
@@Matt-pn1ce the Jedi haven't sensed the Sith in Thousands of Years ... ... They have been living in the shadows (and the Unknown Realms) growing their power, waiting for vengeance.
If our enemies have returned we must know how they are able to do it while hiding in the shadows. And the Acolyte is the show that will answer how it happens
Oh no Im just referencing the line Galadriel said in the second Hobbit movie. That’s what I always say when an old enemy returns in a show or movie series I like watching
I just figured out how the acolyte series is going to end. It's going to end with palpatine killing Darth plagueis and then it's going to end with the conversation with palpatine and Darth maul. At last we will have the Jedi at last we will have revenge the ending to the acolyte series if I'm right then this news is old to me
Isn't Darth Bane and the rule of two and all that 'Legends' continuity now? I'm not convinced there's any REAL canon that prevents Disney from using them in this period considering that they've exiled the old EU from Canon.
Sounds like this timeline fits in the reign of Tenebrous or Plageius. These acolytes are likely apprentice wannabes. I could see the current Sith lord or apprentice killing the acolyte for risking their secrecy to the Jedi.
Well… if the acolyte kills every witness… you can hide the grand plan and the sith cant you…. Think its well agreed that jedi are killed by more than just sith… 3 people can keep a secret if two of them are dead. 🤷♂️
This has a lot of potential and I am very excited to see it. I agree with your idea of this show not focusing on a true Sith, but a dark Jedi aspiring to become a sith. It would be interesting if they were either trying to find a master to train them, or instead attempt to restart their own version of a sith order. Either way they would become a rival to the master or the apprentice. So excited!!
Well always figured...that sith wouldn't hide (that was kind of funny) in cave or kantinas because how else would they grow in power. I may not support disney handling star wars but any one who has love for Lucas or Legends is fine by me, besides I haven't been able to watch any Star Wars shows that have streaming and it's not because of time...thats all I'll say
What i reserched and what i think this is before the Phantom Menace i am thinking it's Darth Tenebrous Plaguese's master and it has to line up when Mundi said the sith hasn't came back for a millennial but that's just me

Goosebumps 😮
Looked like a guy was using the red blade. Young Palpatine maybe?
No Jedi will live to tell the truth of the Sith’s existence…That’s the real Theory
Not true, the jedi have complete control , they would sense the sith. The senate is not able to be infiltrated at this stage
Easy play KOTOR nah u probably won't, I'll tell you the same way Sidous hid ln plain sight from the Jedi, MAGIC.
At last we will have the Jedi at last we will have revenge the ending to the acolyte series if I'm right then this news is old to me
Would be epic!!!!
Disney have already broken cannon with Obi-Wan. i wouldn't think too hard about it.
It’s getting hate already let it come out? It’s interesting something new.m to enjoy. People hated solo but the Easter eggs in that film are golden.
They already said they were changing the history of Star Wars, so the Sith can be around.
Isn't Darth Bane and the rule of two and all that 'Legends' continuity now?
I'm not convinced there's any REAL canon that prevents Disney from using them in this period considering that they've exiled the old EU from Canon.
There's an assumption that Disney cares about Sith Lore.
Sounds like this timeline fits in the reign of Tenebrous or Plageius. These acolytes are likely apprentice wannabes. I could see the current Sith lord or apprentice killing the acolyte for risking their secrecy to the Jedi.
I'll be passing
Hey everyone and even #thestupendouswave I hope you all hear me out I believe we are going to get a real version of #jedimastersifodyas in #acolyte
Looks interesting I’m thinking the alcolyte is going to be a part of a darkside organization and will be dealt with by the true sith.
Acolyte = Inquisitors IMO
Well… if the acolyte kills every witness… you can hide the grand plan and the sith cant you…. Think its well agreed that jedi are killed by more than just sith… 3 people can keep a secret if two of them are dead. 🤷♂️
theres a huge gap in the timeline where nothing really is established.
Also the the high republic era has a knights in the crusade era feel with laser swords those cross ggaurds are not lightsabers
The only thing the Jedi will find is DEI and cannon destroying fiction.
I think Disney is gonna ruin this
Disney ruins all there movies even the ones that aren't Star Wars related
Let hope they don't ruin me next❤🖤
Night sister like ventrecee
Well always figured...that sith wouldn't hide (that was kind of funny) in cave or kantinas because how else would they grow in power. I may not support disney handling star wars but any one who has love for Lucas or Legends is fine by me, besides I haven't been able to watch any Star Wars shows that have streaming and it's not because of time...thats all I'll say
What i reserched and what i think this is before the Phantom Menace i am thinking it's Darth Tenebrous Plaguese's master and it has to line up when Mundi said the sith hasn't came back for a millennial but that's just me
Its just a never ending game of chess
It’s not a Sith it’s an Acolyte!
It is supposed to show the jedi from a sith perspective. And not quite evil but not quite holy as portrayed til now.
Imagen if jedi master sol fall into the drak side during this show and not report What he found in the end. Imagen that
Everyone will die it’s a bad guy’s win from the point of view of the good guys. No Jedi that sees the red blade ignited will not survive
So many haters. It wouldn’t matter how successful this is, they would steal hate it rather than admit that it was good. They are so invested in the “anti-woke” we don’t want no diversity narrative….. It’s impossible for them to render any kind of reasonable Probably the best quote that fits these people is, “You are on this Council, but we do not grant you the rank of Master.” Let the haters start opening their mouth and removing all doubt.
Or it could be that not everyone on the High Council knows about it.
I’m watching regardless 😊never mind the lore; I’ll be excited 😂😂😂
If the rumors are right and the protagonist want to kill the Force...
What if this shows the night sisters as a villain now
