This is a great stand, period! It's lightweight, climbs easy ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxlQ7TDIrnnSXXbRgFFaxqwullRJJIuYAs and feels solid while in the tree. The seat is easy to fold up for climbing and sits comfortably for long days in the woods. The only downside I have is that it might be too comfortable, but I like napping in the tree anyway. This is the second Summit Viper I have owned. The old one is steel making it heavier, but this aluminum version is about 9-10 lbs lighter. I recommend buying a better fall harness as the one included is clunky and not super comfortable. I think it will work fine if you NEED to use it, but there are lots of other more comfortable options out there.
I used the HSS Bow & Gear Hoist for my bow last year and it was a game changer. No dealing with a tow rope that to be unwound and then wound back up. Hooks right on the molle straps of my harness.
Hey bud great video. There is a type of paracord out there that is a little thicker and a little stiffer and it is awesome to use as a bow rope. I can’t remember the name of it but if you go to any big box store you can find it. Way better than 550.
Here's a trick for you,I carry a little ice fishing pole and cast out a wick with my favorite scent in several directions totally scent free just make sure they're clear shooting lanes you cast through
So it might be something u play with - u might angle the back bar away from you - also depends o your quiver and how far that sticks out from bow and if u detach it
@@thewhitetailexperience6055 thank you! I hang my quiver once settled in but have always hung the bow with a screw in hook or pubic land friendly attachment.

Just for my .75. Thanks for the video it has helped me on deciding some gear I am goin to get
Great video! I like the gear tie concept as well. Easily packable and one less noise factor to worry about!
Thanks man it’s been solid for a couple seasons
Exactly what I needed!

Lot of guys like the hoist system it’s a good option for sure
Good stuff! I like to attach two Quake claw rifle slings to my stands as carry straps, they work really well and stick to your shoulders like glue.
I have the treestand straps from Quake (which I don’t think they make anymore), always wondered if the rifle slings would work for stand transport
Great tips, great video
Thanks Jason

You have my attention man
I put my bow holder on the seat on the side i grip my bow. it's awesome and not in the way and really minimal movement compared to the platform.
8k views in 6days 🔥🔥🔥 nice work 👏
Thanks blind squirrel finds a nut
Nice tips, you should make a video of how to install the Kuiu/kifaru straps
Will do for sure
Thanks, I have a similar system. Which harness is that? I've always hated my Muddy harness.
Right it’s heavy and big - that harness is the new xop harness
Can you add links to the gear ties and the linemen rope stuff? I Want to purchase some of that stuff.
Yep I think I added link to cam jam
Give any thought to trying the web/mesh seat offered by LWCG?
No not really I like the smaller seat and it’s lighter and lower profile
I also may attach my camera arm under the seat

Deff not gonna take a mini fishing rod - gota walk 1/4-1 mile with stand sticks and camera gear
What size/type of rope do you use on that camjam?
It’s the one that comes with it
How do you think the bow holder would work for the guys running a back bar on their bow?
I have a 3rd hand archery bow holder very similar to that one and no issues with an 8in back bar

What kind of bow holder is that? Can't find your link to it
That’s a lone wolf custom gear hanger
It’s one the website I believe in acessories area
Thanks, keep up the good content
What kind of harness is that?
Xop ultra lite
