Arrma Senton 4x4 Motor Swap - Cheaper Option - Better Results - HOW TO - Traxxas Titan 12T 550 - DIY

I have had the Armma Senton 4x4 for about 5 years now and in that time I have burnt out two Arrma Senton brushed motors. One of them, the front bearing failed creating so much movement in the shaft that the drive gears started to grind and slip from misalignment. I know most people would say upgrade to brushless but the main point of this truck is to be a cheap basher to race with my dad- He has the same one but in blue. I went to get another motor and I was recommended to try the Traxxas Titan 12T 550 which is in the slash. An even cheaper option that is suppose to be more reliable- SOLD and so far so good! It has seen many lipo battery cycles so let's see how long it lasts this time! Thanks for the info. Kinda mad I just gave away the old titan 550's I had. Some were never ran too. -.- But I honestly did that before I got the senton.
Got to love goats! Well socialized goats are curious and inquisitive. My friends goats, most who I gentled from kids, used to chase my rc trucks around. They would all gather when I brought it in the pen. I was careful not to hit them, she had mostly pygmy. I was honestly half expected for them to skitter away, like most the other farmers goats I know around here do. My friends were that way till I intervened.

Oh no way ahah!! Well at least there only like $20! My motor is still going! Does almost 2 battery cycles every week since! Yesss goats are the best aha! We love our family of 5! This truck can handle a brushless upgrade if that is what you want.

I was very close to upgrading. I wanted to keep it more slow and stock though as I let people try it all the time. I ended up buying the senton 3s blx for myself 😎

Great video. Love the neat workspace too. Any chance you can do a vid on how you maintain/clean the Arrma Senton after use? My son is just getting into r/c cars but I have found limited, daily maintenance instruction and your car is in great condition.

Thanks👊 I appreciate it! I can try in the future, I don't maintain it after every use besides flipping upside down shaking all dirt loose and out of chassis, air compressor can work good to. Check for loose parts. Once or twice a year should re grease differentials front and rear!

Hi, friend! I loved your video! Did you notice any difference in speed with the titan 12 t? I think arrma builds better chassis for rc but in terms of brush motors traxxas motors are a little faster and more reliable :) regards and wonderful video (when you can top speed with that motor) regards
