Pan, I'm a newbie who came across your channel & love it because you are, simply relatable. Concerning leather, namely this video but for leather seats too, how can you "seal" leather when it's plastic coated? If you can explain or provide a link that would help.
After reading my viewers' questions, I decided to ask their questions to Colourlock experts and received the following answers: 1) Is there a wait time after using the leather cleaner before applying leather shield? No. There is no waiting time. Just ensure the surface is dry and all cleaner residue is removed/wiped before applying Shield. 2) How often do we need to reapply Leather Shield? Leather Shield is a sealant. A non permanent sealant that needs to be refreshed once every 3-6 months depending on use. It provides protection from abrasion damage and dye transfer on new leather. 3) Are the products in this video suitable for fake/synthetic leather? Yes, the product is suitable for genuine leather (non absorbent only) & all types of artificial leather/leatherette.

Have using Colourlock system for about 2 years and love it. A tips is that if you using Shield on the leather and you are waiting for it to dry, use a blowdryer :)

I remember when I cleaned my steering wheel in my BMW for the first time and found out the stitching wasn't actually black it had BMW ///M colored stitching with 12 years of dirt on it...disgusting!
I had this on my old ford that had white stitching on all the seats but black on the wheel & drivers seat. It all came out white after to. Shocking but it was the first clean after I bought it

I am a bit of a cynic watching some of the Pan’s and others cleaning wheels.......however.......I bought the kit and looked at the year old shiny F90 M5 steering wheel on my car and gave it a go.....😳 WOW........ I have BMW X5 G05 - 1 year old and I've always used Gyeon Products - great combo on leather seats and very gentle but I was never able to get a good matte result on the steering wheel. After watching this video I purchased same product, arrived yesterday and steering wheel is as new, very matte and fresh finish. Great Product

I can’t stand when people have their car for sale and the leather steering wheel is so shiny. It makes the interior look cheap. It takes one minute to clean.
@Josh S I've done it for 1 year now and the steering wheel still looks brand new I dont use a brush I only use a brush when I detail it on Saturdays I use a microfiber cloth spray some autoglym interior shampoo on the wheel and micro fiber cloth and rub it lightly plus bmw steering wheels a good quality so it won't wear down as much
Followed your instructions using these recommended products today on my BMW X5 . Thank you Pan, the results are amazing and so easy. Also used on my work VW van leather steering wheel which hasn’t been cleaned properly like this since new. It now looks like new.
Great video as always. We mustn’t forget to clean the back of the steering wheel as well. You’re one of the very few detailers that places a towel behind the wheel and also stresses ph neutral cleaner. Most apcs are caustic to leather. Particularly older leather. It strips the natural oils from the leather.

I used the p&s on a 5 month old BMW it's crazy how dirty it can get! I only don't know which protectant I should use for it I used carpro perl on all the interior but in my opinion it's to slick for the steering wheel. so I think I'll get the colourlock set! Thanks Pan for your amazing videos I learn a lot from it to keep my car and from others in good condition!
@@abdullahthabet6943 You do exactly as in this video. You can't protect the leather from grease/oils. They accumulate over time because you constantly touch the steering wheel. That's why you have to clean it at least once every 2-3 months.
If you cant get a matte look, even after several passes, try colourlock leather spirits - designed to fully strip the leather from all oils and flash away without residue. Great especially on wheels not cleaned in years.
Thanks for showing us how to do it right! There are several other videos suggesting the use of a magic eraser, which is only going to damage the leather. These is no substitution for having the proper 'tools', in this case, a cleaner designed for steering wheels
Thanks Dayne! Magic erasers can be used in extreme conditions, when no other solution works, but you need to be very careful and test on an inconspicuous area first. But in general, I always recommend starting with the most gentle methods first, and use material appropriate products, like leather cleaners and sealants on leather surfaces. :)
I think one of the things I like best about your videos, Pan, is that no matter what type of vehicle you’re detailing, I can apply that knowledge and any procedures to my own vehicles. Likewise with your garage set up; even though I have a smaller garage, it is very-well organized for detailing. Thanks so much!

Thanks for the video! I do take good care of my steering wheel and I was able to use the products in this video recently. One observation I want to make is to avoid working on direct sunlight and extreme hot weather when applying leather shield, it dries out and leaves streaks. I was able to use a light damp microfiber to remove the streaks and bring the matte finish.
I still can’t get my head around ceramic coating for leather. I just picture it giving a hard glass coat but I’m sure it doesn’t. I use the Angelwax Heaven for Leather and Hide-rate. Easy to apply and great clean. Happy new year Pan. 👍

Durability on those is amazing. Up to a year of leather protection.

Hi, great tutorial for a beginner. How do you clean the Colourlock brush? Want to use it on the seats, also, can you use it on the plastic bits of the door panel, or is it better to just spray the cleaner and wipe off with a microfiber towel? Thanks.
Cleaning the brush is simple, just rinse it in warm water and let it air dry. If you get some super disgusting leather cleaning, you can spray a bit of APC on the brush, work it in, then rinse with warm water.
I recently bought the one for smooth leather since my car is a bit older but now that I’ve used it and the leather is looking good do I start using the other one or continue to use the smooth leather one?

Same steps and products as for the leather steering wheel. Leather is leather. Regardless if it's on the steering wheel, shift knob, door panels, dash, etc. All your leather & vinyl surfaces.
Bonjour Pan, I just had the steering wheel on my Z4 wrapped in Alcantara leather and I was hoping you might have advise on how to protect it before I install it in the car. Good video for me. I usually spray griots 3 in 1 leather conditioner and cleaner on a microfiber and massage it in my steering wheel. Same process for my leather seats. I'm assuming this steering wheel cleaning process will be the same for seats? Also I have a spot that is starting to feel coarse on the top of my steering wheel hopefully cleaning will not make it worse.
A Magic Eraser is my weapon of choice for the steering wheel deep clean. The amount of crud it removes is unbelievable, even after using a degreaser etc. Brought a 10 year old disgusting steering wheel back to looking new again.
Be very careful when using magic erasers and APCs or degreasers on leather surfaces. Magic erasers are abrasives and if used to hard or too often can damage the protective coating that's on the leather. APCs and degreasers are often too alkaline (high pH) and can change the leather's pH which can harm it long term. For regular maintenance, the lowest aggression should be used: the techniques shown in this video.
@@PanTheOrganizerOh yeah, of course. I'd only use the Magic Eraser on heavily soiled steering wheels and certainly not for routine maintenance. It works so well to cut through years worth of gunk from hands. Like any abrasive, it should only be used if absolutely necessary. Cheers, Pan!

Hi Bogdan. Don't combine different protectants. If you are using the Colourlock leather sealant, don't apply the Gyeon leather protection on top. Once the leather is cleaned, pick one protection. Not two. It shouldn’t feel slippery once properly cleaned, as clean leather has a matte appearance like when you take delivery from the dealership. That’s not slippery.
Hi loved the video. I have a 2022 Mazda 6 Turbo sedan (Australia) The grey leather steering wheel has been slippery and shiny since i picked up the car brand new. Do they apply a protective coating at the factory prior to shipping from Hiroshima Japan to Australia? If so how can I make the wheel soft and grippy? As the slippery wheel for me is annoying. Graham
What about the Mr. Clean Magic sponge thingy ? Because my steering wheel is so shiny it's like a mirror. It hasnt been properly cleaned in like 10 years or so.
Only use magic erasers in extreme cases as those are abrasives that could potentially harm the leather’s coating. Start with a strong dedicated leather cleaner like in this video with the techniques shown and see how that works. Always the least aggressive methods first.

I have a question about cleaning my steering wheel. Last year I bought a Golf TSI a lease return with 20 ooo kms. I tried cleaning steering wheel with some soap and warm water, but the left side of the steering wheel is greasy for some reason , but the right side still has that matt finish. I am guessing the previous owner rested his hand on the left side a lot. Do you have some suggestion how to approach it? I bought the brush you suggested in your video, so I will give it a second chance. Thanks Ivan
Soap and warm water won't be enough. If it's still glossy, it has body oils on it. To remove those, use the steps exactly like in this tutorial. And get one of the kits (if it's a car less than 3 years old, get the new car leather kit, and if it's a car older than 3 years, get the smooth leather set) and pick the strong leather cleaner for the kit.

@@PanTheOrganizer I am fairly sure that I discovered your channel back in the day when you just had a few subscribers. At one point, it just exploded. So I have been following you for quite some time. People have asked me how I keep my cars clean because of your channel.
Always try with the least aggressive method first, like in this video. If that isn't enough, you can try a mild all purpose cleaner and if that still doesn't work, a degreaser with a magic eraser, but don't do this too often as you could damage the leather's coating.
i have a leather steering wheel i just removed my steering wheel cover i instled on it , and i noticed there some white sticky residue from the steering wheel cover how can that be removed ??

I purchased a very low mileage 2018 Audi S4 and the steering wheel felt sticky. I used a well know brand leather cleaner and conditioner. The steering wheel is now shiny and sticky. I am beyond disappointed. I want the original feel of this beautifully crafted steering wheel back. If I use these products, will it restore the steering wheel to the original mat finish?
It's hard to say, as I can't see your steering wheel in person. But the Colourlock stuff is a pro grade kit for sure. If it doesn't work with this, you would need to be a bit more agressive with something like a Mr Clean Magic Eraser and lightly buff with a leather cleaner or mild APC. That should take care of it. You always want to start with the softest methods first and move up from there until the issue is resolved.
hi, i have m steering wheel as well 80k miles, very rarely cleaned, should we wipe off with a damp cloth or dry one? some leather cleaner products advise to use damp. If damp is used it leaves more dirt/color on the towel. I am worried if i am removing original color if i use damp cloth, but if i use dry then i might be leaving dirt on it and the dirt might be trapped in with the use of a leather coat product.
Are the results really as good as they look? Does the ColourLock Kit restore the BMW M Sport leather steering wheel to its factory/showroom matte finish?
I don’t know how to answer this... I have been detailing cars for over 23 years now and my channel is one of the biggest car detailing channels on UA-cam. If I show or demo a product or do a tutorial, it’s because I vetted the process and of course this works.......
Great video Pan! I do wonder, since not all leathers are the same (some cars have artificial, some PU, some Suede etc.), how do I get to know what type of leather my vehicle has? Pan, I just purchased a 2016 BMW 535i MSport. The interior and leather surfaces are immaculate but just want to clean it all up. The p&s interior cleaner and the detail factory brushes will do the job. I was thinking about getting the WOWO interior finisher over the p&s cleaner. Do you recommend that? Awesome videos man. I am getting a brand new Mercedes for the first time, and I don´t want to do anything wrong with the leather and want to maintain it as good as new as long as possible. Nice job on explaining this !!
The products I use and recommend are made for leather. The brush was designed by Colourlock, world leather care experts. I have been using it for years and years. Absolutely no worries. And you don't use the strong version of the leather cleaner all the time. Only on very dirty or soiled leather. If your leather is well maintained, all you'll need is the mild cleaner. And regardless, both cleaners are safe and formulated for leather care. Unlike all purpose cleaners which have a very high pH (over 10) that can damage the leather's protective coating over time if used too much. I have been detailing for over 24 years and have yet to see any damaged leather if cared for correctly. I have had high quality leather for years in my own cars now, including the BMW M550i you saw here, and my new 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S, and the leather is better than new. @@PanTheOrganizer sorry to dig into it further, but can you explain the differnece between Leather Shield and Leather Protectant, that are included in the different sets? And for which parts the two different products are used?
Pan can you advise if this method is appropriate for white, cream or other light coloured steering wheels. I’m always concerned the dirt will get wiped/brushed into the light coloured stitching and discolour it.

Hi Pan, I have the Colourlock MILD Cleaning set. Inside ther's a lether protector that is different from the SHIELD one. I have to clean a brand new BMW 5 series interior like yours and a MINI brand new steering wheel. Can I use that protector on these brand new lethers or I need the SHIELD protector because are brand new? Thanks!
Anything 3 years or newer Colourlock recommends Shield (New Leather kit) as leather doesn’t need protection, it needs to resist dye transfer and friction damage. Pan, I'm a newbie who came across your channel & love it because you are, simply relatable. Concerning leather, namely this video but for leather seats too, how can you "seal" leather when it's plastic coated? If you can explain or provide a link that would help.
After reading my viewers' questions, I decided to ask their questions to Colourlock experts and received the following answers:
1) Is there a wait time after using the leather cleaner before applying leather shield? No. There is no waiting time. Just ensure the surface is dry and all cleaner residue is removed/wiped before applying Shield.
2) How often do we need to reapply Leather Shield? Leather Shield is a sealant. A non permanent sealant that needs to be refreshed once every 3-6 months depending on use. It provides protection from abrasion damage and dye transfer on new leather.
3) Are the products in this video suitable for fake/synthetic leather? Yes, the product is suitable for genuine leather (non absorbent only) & all types of artificial leather/leatherette.

Yeah you need to deep clean that oil and dirt and germs.
Have using Colourlock system for about 2 years and love it. A tips is that if you using Shield on the leather and you are waiting for it to dry, use a blowdryer :)

I remember when I cleaned my steering wheel in my BMW for the first time and found out the stitching wasn't actually black it had BMW ///M colored stitching with 12 years of dirt on it...disgusting!

I am a bit of a cynic watching some of the Pan’s and others cleaning wheels.......however.......I bought the kit and looked at the year old shiny F90 M5 steering wheel on my car and gave it a go.....😳 WOW........ I have BMW X5 G05 - 1 year old and I've always used Gyeon Products - great combo on leather seats and very gentle but I was never able to get a good matte result on the steering wheel. After watching this video I purchased same product, arrived yesterday and steering wheel is as new, very matte and fresh finish. Great Product

I can’t stand when people have their car for sale and the leather steering wheel is so shiny. It makes the interior look cheap. It takes one minute to clean.

@Josh S I've done it for 1 year now and the steering wheel still looks brand new I dont use a brush I only use a brush when I detail it on Saturdays I use a microfiber cloth spray some autoglym interior shampoo on the wheel and micro fiber cloth and rub it lightly plus bmw steering wheels a good quality so it won't wear down as much
if you do it correectly it takes 20 minutes.
Followed your instructions using these recommended products today on my BMW X5 . Thank you Pan, the results are amazing and so easy. Also used on my work VW van leather steering wheel which hasn’t been cleaned properly like this since new. It now looks like new.

Great video as always. We mustn’t forget to clean the back of the steering wheel as well. You’re one of the very few detailers that places a towel behind the wheel and also stresses ph neutral cleaner. Most apcs are caustic to leather. Particularly older leather. It strips the natural oils from the leather.

I used the p&s on a 5 month old BMW it's crazy how dirty it can get! I only don't know which protectant I should use for it I used carpro perl on all the interior but in my opinion it's to slick for the steering wheel. so I think I'll get the colourlock set! @@abdullahthabet6943 You do exactly as in this video. You can't protect the leather from grease/oils. They accumulate over time because you constantly touch the steering wheel. That's why you have to clean it at least once every 2-3 months.

If you cant get a matte look, even after several passes, try colourlock leather spirits - designed to fully strip the leather from all oils and flash away without residue. Great especially on wheels not cleaned in years.

Thanks for showing us how to do it right! There are several other videos suggesting the use of a magic eraser, which is only going to damage the leather. These is no substitution for having the proper 'tools', in this case, a cleaner designed for steering wheels
Thanks Dayne! Magic erasers can be used in extreme conditions, when no other solution works, but you need to be very careful and test on an inconspicuous area first. But in general, I always recommend starting with the most gentle methods first, and use material appropriate products, like leather cleaners and sealants on leather surfaces. :)
I think one of the things I like best about your videos, Pan, is that no matter what type of vehicle you’re detailing, I can apply that knowledge and any procedures to my own vehicles. Likewise with your garage set up; even though I have a smaller garage, it is very-well organized for detailing. Thanks so much!

Thanks for the video! I do take good care of my steering wheel and I was able to use the products in this video recently. One observation I want to make is to avoid working on direct sunlight and extreme hot weather when applying leather shield, it dries out and leaves streaks. I was able to use a light damp microfiber to remove the streaks and bring the matte finish.

I still can’t get my head around ceramic coating for leather. I just picture it giving a hard glass coat but I’m sure it doesn’t. I use the Angelwax Heaven for Leather and Hide-rate. Easy to apply and great clean. Happy new year Pan. 👍

I applied CarPro Leather (ceramic coating for leather) and those contain a flexible formulation that's different from traditional coatings for paintwork. Durability on those is amazing. Up to a year of leather protection.

Hi, great tutorial for a beginner. How do you clean the Colourlock brush? Want to use it on the seats, also, can you use it on the plastic bits of the door panel, or is it better to just spray the cleaner and wipe off with a microfiber towel? Thanks.
Cleaning the brush is simple, just rinse it in warm water and let it air dry. If you get some super disgusting leather cleaning, you can spray a bit of APC on the brush, work it in, then rinse with warm water.
I usually brush clean with hand wah foam, rinse & let it dry for 3+ hrs., then wipe on the shoe polish paste, brush & shine the wheel as your shoes.
What about if I have a car from the 90s? Steering wheel isn’t in mint condition but still very good condition? That brush still ok?

What would you did if it’s worn or faded, is there away to fix that?
Yes, there are ways to restore leather. But I don't do that. There are videos by companies like Colourlock that show you how.
I recently bought the one for smooth leather since my car is a bit older but now that I’ve used it and the leather is looking good do I start using the other one or continue to use the smooth leather one?
Stick with what you have. New leather kit is for new cars, less than 3 years old.

Avoid using all purpose cleaners to clean leather on a regular basis. Try to use leather specific cleaners for that task.
Used leather cleaner for my sofa. Saved $20!!
I drive with dedicated and personalized driving gloves. Keeps my steering wheel clean, matte, and smooth... And I also feel cool wearing them haha.

I really like this! The glossy sheen to the steering wheel of my 2015 GTI bothers me.
Glycerin soft soap which is used for saddles and other leather in stables does the job. Nothing else is needed.

Same steps and products as for the leather steering wheel. Leather is leather. Regardless if it's on the steering wheel, shift knob, door panels, dash, etc. All your leather & vinyl surfaces.

Good video for me. I usually spray griots 3 in 1 leather conditioner and cleaner on a microfiber and massage it in my steering wheel. Same process for my leather seats. I'm assuming this steering wheel cleaning process will be the same for seats? Also I have a spot that is starting to feel coarse on the top of my steering wheel hopefully cleaning will not make it worse.
A Magic Eraser is my weapon of choice for the steering wheel deep clean. The amount of crud it removes is unbelievable, even after using a degreaser etc. Brought a 10 year old disgusting steering wheel back to looking new again.

Be very careful when using magic erasers and APCs or degreasers on leather surfaces. Magic erasers are abrasives and if used to hard or too often can damage the protective coating that's on the leather. APCs and degreasers are often too alkaline (high pH) and can change the leather's pH which can harm it long term. For regular maintenance, the lowest aggression should be used: the techniques shown in this video.
Pan TheOrganizer Very good to know. How does Colourlock Shield compare to something like Beasley’s Leather Lock?
@@PanTheOrganizerOh yeah, of course. I'd only use the Magic Eraser on heavily soiled steering wheels and certainly not for routine maintenance. It works so well to cut through years worth of gunk from hands. Like any abrasive, it should only be used if absolutely necessary. Cheers, Pan!
Would this work on Lexus Softex ? I assume they use Softex on their steering wheels.
It works on any leather, synthetic leather and vinyl.

Hi Bogdan. Don't combine different protectants. If you are using the Colourlock leather sealant, don't apply the Gyeon leather protection on top. Once the leather is cleaned, pick one protection. Not two.

It shouldn’t feel slippery once properly cleaned, as clean leather has a matte appearance like when you take delivery from the dealership. That’s not slippery.
Do these products work on an already faded steering wheel or should I buy some other product to help restore the leather look?
Hi loved the video. I have a 2022 Mazda 6 Turbo sedan (Australia) The grey leather steering wheel has been slippery and shiny since i picked up the car brand new. Do they apply a protective coating at the factory prior to shipping from Hiroshima Japan to Australia? If so how can I make the wheel soft and grippy? As the slippery wheel for me is annoying. Graham
What about the Mr. Clean Magic sponge thingy ? Because my steering wheel is so shiny it's like a mirror. It hasnt been properly cleaned in like 10 years or so.
Only use magic erasers in extreme cases as those are abrasives that could potentially harm the leather’s coating. Start with a strong dedicated leather cleaner like in this video with the techniques shown and see how that works. Always the least aggressive methods first.

Mild should be enough for 90% of vehicles. You only get the strong if you have super dirty, greasy and oily leather.

Yes. Sometimes on very dirty steering wheels get the strong cleaner and do more passes.
I have a question about cleaning my steering wheel. Last year I bought a Golf TSI a lease return with 20 ooo kms.
I tried cleaning steering wheel with some soap and warm water, but the left side of the steering wheel is greasy for some reason , but the right side still has that matt finish. I am guessing the previous owner rested his hand on the left side a lot.
Do you have some suggestion how to approach it? I bought the brush you suggested in your video, so I will give it a second chance.

Soap and warm water won't be enough. If it's still glossy, it has body oils on it. To remove those, use the steps exactly like in this tutorial. And get one of the kits (if it's a car less than 3 years old, get the new car leather kit, and if it's a car older than 3 years, get the smooth leather set) and pick the strong leather cleaner for the kit.

It is 2016 TSI Golf. So 4 years old. Yeah I kind of suspected warm water snd soap is not enough. Also this car was leased, so it was never cleaned tbh. Thank you very much for the response.

Just my thoughts (I have a 69 corvette) use an apc/leather cleaner but on a microfiber
Always try with the least aggressive method first, like in this video. If that isn't enough, you can try a mild all purpose cleaner and if that still doesn't work, a degreaser with a magic eraser, but don't do this too often as you could damage the leather's coating.

I purchased a very low mileage 2018 Audi S4 and the steering wheel felt sticky. I used a well know brand leather cleaner and conditioner. The steering wheel is now shiny and sticky. I am beyond disappointed. I want the original feel of this beautifully crafted steering wheel back. If I use these products, will it restore the steering wheel to the original mat finish?
It's hard to say, as I can't see your steering wheel in person. But the Colourlock stuff is a pro grade kit for sure. If it doesn't work with this, you would need to be a bit more agressive with something like a Mr Clean Magic Eraser and lightly buff with a leather cleaner or mild APC. That should take care of it. You always want to start with the softest methods first and move up from there until the issue is resolved.

hi, i have m steering wheel as well 80k miles, very rarely cleaned, should we wipe off with a damp cloth or dry one? some leather cleaner products advise to use damp. If damp is used it leaves more dirt/color on the towel. I am worried if i am removing original color if i use damp cloth, but if i use dry then i might be leaving dirt on it and the dirt might be trapped in with the use of a leather coat product.
I use a dry microfiber towel to wipe what the cleaner + brush cleaned.

Are the results really as good as they look? Does the ColourLock Kit restore the BMW M Sport leather steering wheel to its factory/showroom matte finish?
I don’t know how to answer this... I have been detailing cars for over 23 years now and my channel is one of the biggest car detailing channels on UA-cam. If I show or demo a product or do a tutorial, it’s because I vetted the process and of course this works.......

Pan, I just purchased a 2016 BMW 535i MSport. The interior and leather surfaces are immaculate but just want to clean it all up. The p&s interior cleaner and the detail factory brushes will do the job. I was thinking about getting the WOWO interior finisher over the p&s cleaner. Do you recommend that? Awesome videos man. I have been here since the beginning and love all the information you put out on your channel.

Hey Pan! I have a question: don´t you worry that the strong leather cleaner and the brush could harm/damage the leather, if you use it frequently (like you said every 2-3 months)? I am getting a brand new Mercedes for the first time, and I don´t want to do anything wrong with the leather and want to maintain it as good as new as long as possible. Nice job on explaining this !!
The products I use and recommend are made for leather. The brush was designed by Colourlock, world leather care experts. I have been using it for years and years. Absolutely no worries. And you don't use the strong version of the leather cleaner all the time. Only on very dirty or soiled leather. If your leather is well maintained, all you'll need is the mild cleaner. And regardless, both cleaners are safe and formulated for leather care. Unlike all purpose cleaners which have a very high pH (over 10) that can damage the leather's protective coating over time if used too much.
I have been detailing for over 24 years and have yet to see any damaged leather if cared for correctly. I have had high quality leather for years in my own cars now, including the BMW M550i you saw here, and my new 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S, and the leather is better than new.

Pan can you advise if this method is appropriate for white, cream or other light coloured steering wheels. I’m always concerned the dirt will get wiped/brushed into the light coloured stitching and discolour it.

Mild for leather that’s not too dirty. Strong for dirty leather that has a lot of grease on it (very shiny looking).

Hi Pan, I have the Colourlock MILD Cleaning set. Inside ther's a lether protector that is different from the SHIELD one. I have to clean a brand new BMW 5 series interior like yours and a MINI brand new steering wheel. Can I use that protector on these brand new lethers or I need the SHIELD protector because are brand new? Thanks!
Anything 3 years or newer Colourlock recommends Shield (New Leather kit) as leather doesn’t need protection, it needs to resist dye transfer and friction damage. Any leather 3 years or more, they recommend the Protector.
