It's so weird because a few weeks ago I went grocery shopping and there was cheesecloth on sale for like a dollar and a few cents... I've never bought or needed cheesecloth before. Something in my gut told me to buy it. I buy it then for the past week I've been doing research on homemade leave in conditioner and BOOM!!!! About all of the recipes require cheesecloth. I think that's God telling me this is my next step in my hair growth phase.

Before he comes, we all need to discover what we were born to do on the earth with the gifts he has given us, then develop and refine those gifts to share with others so they can discover theirs. i FOLLOWED YOUR RECIPE and as I was cooling the mixture, the water was no longer cold but warm from my bowl so I took the bowl out for about 5-8 seconds: just to pour off the warm water and to fill the pot with cold water again. I watched as the mixture began to become as chopped up califlower in oil! It was nice and thick and just the consistency I wanted. I began to use the hand mixer again to blend it together and it only made smaller pieces of califlower! Can I still use this mixture even though it is not smooth and the appearance is pretty? The oil that ran from the mixture, I placed in a separate bowl by straining it with a sifter and I now have a hair grease! ha But I can still use the doughlike mixture right? When I put some on my finger, it melts right away and feels so nourishing.

Benzyl alcohol is a preservative and is not the type of alcohol you think. It doesn't dry out your hair
