I think people need to understand that genetics play a big role in hair short or long, all things won’t work for all and some may work but could be a slower process. Know your hair find out what works for you and stick with it, also a healthy diet plays a big part in our skin, hair health journey. Be safe.

To promote hair growth, I boosted my protein intake, rubbed my scalp with coco onion oil, and used reactivate hair serum by liitllexttra. I started seeing new hair growth in just 16 weeks.

I hope people understand, genetics don't mean anything with out care. The only time genetics comes into play regarding hair is when there is a mutation. If you have no mutation in your genetic code there is no reason your hair can't grow long. Some peoples hair is more resilient than others, but less resilient hair can still grow just as long and healthy, it will just require more work. Please don't read some of these comments about genetics and give up thinking "my genetics must be why my hair isn't growing" that's false. Your hair can grow to your knees if you want, BUT, you will have to put alot of research and effort into caring for the hair vs some one who seemingly does nothing for their hair to get that long.

Exactly. We as black women need to stop using "genetics" as an excuse for everything. "Oh my genetics won't allow me to have long hair" "oh my genetics won't allow me to have a curvy body" and blah blah blah

A a producer of pure organic Jamaican Black Castor Oil, since discovering this great way to make aloe vera oil I have experimented and started producing it several litres at a time.
Because of the quantity I make, I devised a method to help large quantity producers speed up the filtration process once the oil is cooled. I use three very fine gauze strainers, which thoroughly remove the creamy 'custard looking' gunk, leaving pure green aloe vera oil which is ideal for creating infusions.

@Lolita’s world 🌎 Hi. It's interesting that you mention 'avocado oil', even though the topic at hand is about 'aloe vera oil'. I actually make avocado and moringa oil infusions to order, using a different process that involves very high grade extra virgin olive oil. When it comes to making aloe vera oil using the principle as shown in this fabulous video, I use a combination of both castor and olive oil.

When it comes to sensitive matters like hair, there is no universal procedure, and individuals need to know their hair type and discover a suitable regime for best results, too👍🏿

castor oil is too thick and is not a penetrating oil its more of a sealant. grapeseed is lightweight and better to use for infusions. however, you can always add a couple tsps of castor oil to it for more benefit.

Do you think it will work better if I will not include the skin of the aloevera? Also, I am planning to use avocado oil and add apple cider vinegar to put a little bit of acidity to it as I suffered dandruff a lot. Do you think that will work? thanks

    Interesting idea, thank you. But...
Why do you heat and cook this mixture? Doesn't it destroy vitamins and other useful things in oil and aloe? Maybe it's better to use a cold method- put cold oil over crushed aloe and keep it for 2-3 weeks in the closed jur...?

I used to think hair growth is genetics and my hair would never grow past a certain point especially cause no one in my family had long hair. But slowly but surely, with the research on what I did for my hair, nutrition and porosity, my hair went past my back bone (I recently cut it to shoulder length because I had a lot of split ends and that was causing my hair to break off). It was extremely annoying to take care of my hair cause it would take a day and a half to gently wash and detangle and had to moisturize every other day. If I don’t, my hair breaks off and my growth completely stopped. I have 4c high porosity hair and I found that low manipulation helped a lot cause detangling was a pain and always has knots that I had to pull apart and break my hair strands. High porosity sucks because it gets tangled easier and doesn’t hold moisturizer. You think you’d hair is nice and moisturized but the next day it’s super dry, when it’s dry, it breaks. I tried so many herbs and found what worked best.

Dior tell me about it. I've tried everything to combat my super dry hair.lately I've been doing fresh aloe with olive oil bco etc as a prepoo. Then I co-wash and then deep conditioner with a heat cap. My hair is better. Also if you use gels try....genuine Africa formula super...grow extra hold gel. My hair loves it. I use it a couple of days before wash day. Hot oil treatments work to, steamers...good luck!

I recommend that anyone who makes this product, to use a preservative. Once you have any water go on your oil mixture, the chances of mold growing is higher. Your product will go rancid. It is possible that upon washing the Aloe Vera plant, water will go inside. I also believe when using Aloe Vera in general, always use a preservative. For other oils such as herbal oils that are dried, a preservative is not required. Vitamin E is fine for non water products but it will not work for water based products. For all your diy products containing water and used for days, use a preservative (not vitamin E or essentials oils). Research is important
