- 🌬 One of the most famous spots for wind-lovers from Austria, Germany, the Netherlands and more, is TORBOLE, LAKE GARDA 🇮🇹. We have windsurfed and winged there many many times over the past few years. 🌧️ And even if we were sometimes unlucky in terms of wind and weather, it is always worth a trip for us.
🚵♀️ There are many cool shops and very nice locals. Beautiful mountains for a hiking or biking tour. Lots of restaurants and the best pizza 🍕 at PicNic. For us it is just paradise!!

Super Channel! Zeige meiner Frau gerade eure Videos. Die lernt ebenfalls gerade Wingen. Das ist eine super Motivation für sie. Kommen beide vom Windsurfen. Grüße aus Innsbruck bzw. Im Juni wahrscheinlich Viganj, danach Gardasee oder Comersee, Herbst Rosas . Ich werde auf euren Van achten😃
Thinking about visiting Torbole in August. What's the typical wind strange at that time? Also are there equipment ( boards/foils/wings/wetsuits) rentals in the vicinity?
Oh yes torobole is really nice, but in summer there are many people there like everywhere. It can be always different there, so we had one time with only really strong north wind in the mornig in august, where we drove our smallest gear, but normally the south wind is better with moderate wind where we often take wings from 5 to 6.
And there are plenty rental options in torbole, maybe the best location is the @duotoneprocenter at Conca d'oro ;)
@@freiheitsgefuehle Thanks a lot for the info. I typically use Duotone Slick, from 2.5m to 5m, at my home base, so it's perfect.
Before, the CARABINIERI followed the Windsurfers without Life Jacket and give a fine/ multa.
Does the Law in Italy change since then? Or you where just lucky?
Normally we always wear life jackets, as you can see in the video, but because we were shooting the Neopren, we were allowed to make an exception for a few minutes. But otherwise always wear an impact protection vest, even when stand-up paddeling.
@freiheitsgefuehle Is impact west enough? Or does it have to be a life jacket?
Ich trage auch eine Impact-Weste, hatte aber bislang Glück, weil man sie von Weitem nicht unterscheiden kann, erlaubt ist es nicht. I also wear an impact vest, but I've had luck so far because you can't tell them apart from a distance, it's not allowed.
