WOW. AMAZING ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ and I am someone who for the last three or four years has been obsessed with making Barbie castles look real, and also adding different old structures so I have tried every trick in the book that I have found and I know how painstaking long things like this take so I can appreciate from the depth of my soul the hard work you put into this and it is fucking fantastic❤️
I really like how the stones came out! And the pillars added a lot of interest to the walls. I am excited to see what pieces you plan to build for the interior and how you age things! (I use aging to cover things up all the time too😄)
Thank you very much! I wanted something more than just flat walls so it didn’t look too much like a box haha. The pillars really helped! I will be aging to cover manyyyy things.
The stones look excellent! I very much understand about the stones - the struggle is real. After many "ick" moments, I finally decided to never paint walls/stones/bricks, etc. until I've finished building the entire section that needs to be the same color/finish. I often still have to do several layers, but at least I'm doing all those layers at the same time so each result looks a quite a bit more cohesive. Keep creating!
Thank you! I like how they turned out in the end! :) Honestly, I definitely should’ve waited to be ready to paint the entire section. Next time I take on a bigger project like this, I will keep that in mind!
Hey, Kev! Over here from BHM Patreon. In my not-so-humble opinion, I think your floor and the curvy walls look great. When you're thinking how long it's taking you or that you're not working fast enough, just think of all the stone masons that worked on those real castles, lol! Anyway, you worked thru your obstacles on your own and next time you'll just automatically know what to do. Well done!
Welcome to my channel!! And thank you very much! I’ve honestly never thought about how long it took to build a real castle. I cant even imagine lol. I’d love to see one in person some day!
LOL it took me a second to realize why you called me puppy but I laughed when I realized! Putting all the stones down at once is definitely the best idea!
Hi, Kev! I'm here from Ara's Patreon! My name there is Roberta. I really like the shape of your windows and the wavy column-like shapes in the walls! Can't wait to see how you're going to furnish and people your castle! I love how these projects tell a story. ❤️
Hi and welcome to my channel!! I love the window shape, too, I just hope it doesn’t cause too many issues when it comes time to put in the actual window!
