Formerly Dyche Stadium. "Opened 98 years ago in 1926, it was named Dyche Stadium for William Dyche, class of 1882, Evanston mayor from 1895 to 1899 and overseer of the building project." -Wikipedia.
MUCH MUCH debate about the new stadium to be built...neighbors (Wilmette included since its right close by to Isabella = dividing line)somewhat "divided" about the noise/parking etc by proposed added 6 concerts/alcohol use etc..MUCH protest...the use by heavy machine on Central ..1 block from St. A's church/school.. andhow about all the 911 vehicles needing to get 1/2 mi. east to Evanston Hospital!!???? God pics from drone but way too long...constant repeating..

I read the history too. Original stadium is just a memory now.
The spooky score with the video. lol
Seemed appropriate.
Guess the season ticket holders didn't want to claim their "camping chairs" on the west side of the stadium.
No offer was made. I made the suggestion to offer paid tours as fundraisers in the fall. Silence.
I saw they were selling some things online but I didn’t see they were selling seats.
@@devodare_chicago7748 I did check it out. Mostly signage and odds and ends (read: junk).
And the fools who bought houses near there complain about the traffic and noise and don't want the replacement. lol
It’s been the site of a stadium since 1926. I think you should’ve known before you bought a house nearby.

Thanks for the feedback. I don’t know what to make of the neighbors.
