    Dr.!! You made this technique seem much easier than many other videos. I really appreciate that you were conscious about your finger to video placement so we could see the technique well. I will try this soon. Thanks!

    Hello Mae! Happy Thanksgiving! Your hair certainly is growing back quickly! I'm wearing my micro mini twists right now, there' something about the colder months that's when I prefer to wear mini twists, I think because there's a low chance that I'll sweat them out! It took me 9 hours this time around to do my twists. I used to think putting in extensions was dangerous but this really simple and FABULOUS! I noticed that color match too! You did excellent work Mae, great tutorial and I really loved the music! Thanks for sharing!

    Your hair must have been growing down to your lower back for you to cut it. I applaud you for keeping your hair for this long! CONGRATULATIONS! I see you cut it. I guess it's good to start over, but your hair is so much healthier now through your experiences with your hair growth and products that you've used. I am so proud ( assuming I had anything to do with it) of you with your progress and even though this is a 2014 video, I'm sure your hair is much longer now. NikkiMae, you are my hair SHE-RO!

    You did such a great job, they are really neat considering you did it yourself for the first time. I will be doing marley twists myself pretty soon for Uni. I have a question though, do you think 1 pack of hair is enough to do this look, I have a pretty small head (lol) so I dont want too many installed, what do you think? Also, apart from twisting, could you braid marley hair too, or would it get too tangled and then having to cut them out?

  • @danni5750
    @danni5750 10 років тому +1

    How do you keep your scalp clean? I've been wanting to do Marley twists for awhile now and I don't know how I would be able to cleanse my scalp with out messing up the twists. The way Marley twists are done they seem like they could come out easily or my real hair will start to look really frizzy.

    • @wannabestarinsomthin
      @wannabestarinsomthin 10 років тому +4

      Here's a few things you can try
      Blow drying the hair first
      Make sure its nice and moisturized
      grip it tight but not super tight
      when you part your hair twist the two sides in opposite directions (think of wringing out a washcloth)
      Make sure your hair isnt more then the marley hair (or whatever hair you have)
      if your hair is short use less pieces and if your hair is longer use more pieces of hair
      Hope this helps
