thank you for not taking all day to explain how to do the twist oh my goodness i can not stand 21 minute videos about a twist and they take only 5 minutes to show how to do their version of a raggedy twist

Your note about the parting of the hair is super important, I'm going to make sure I part mine differently the next time I do my twists. :)

I agree with the other lady, you nailed it by also explaining the staggered rows. You rock! ...about to get started!

This is so thorough!! I have seen other videos that start off with the method you use, but this is the most clear. I want to try it, but I don't think I could finish my whole head.

I'm considering Havana twists for myself so I watched a whole bunch of videos. I found your picture on pinterest under crochet braids/Havana twists. I was pleasantly surprised to discover you on here and that you not only have a great instruction video, but also that your hair is not actually crochet braid styled. :-) I'm going to take the plunge this weekend and see if I can do it. Great videos.

Thanks for posting. But you know I'm always wanting more...if you don't mind, could you also demonstrate via pics or video, any updos or interesting things you do with your twists? Part of my problem is doing something with them once they are in. I get bored and then want to take them out because I can't seem to figure out what else to do with them besides pulling them back or leaving them hanging. Thanks!

Before I continue, - you are a natural beauty...thanks for the toturial (very simple, no nonsense unlike all the other videos).
NE who, lol - your hair texture seem somewhat close to mine and since I have a mixture of curls and thickness due to my Hispanic/Asian background, I would like to know if this type of hair will blend well with mine? I've seen Kanelalon and Toyokalon type of hair yet, I'm not sure which one would set well. If you have any suggestions, I'd appreciated greatly. Thanks again for your time, - God bless 😊

love your hair... now, where you nervous about the hair pulling or weighing on your hair? I want to do these, but I do not want it to pull on my hair and I thought about crochet style, but it becomes more braids and a lot of hair. (I do that style on my daughter and still by her scratching it seem to cause some breakage)... so back to individual twist... LOL how do you have it where it is not pulling hard?

Tiffany Bradley I have been doing this style for almost a year now and yes you can swim with them. Make sure wash them right after though because you don't want your hair to dry out. Also leave a lot of time to dry. They take forever to dry when you aren't using dry shampoo.
