He is good but not nearly as good as Elvis. Elvis's version is superb. Please listen to him. Over 40 years deceased Elvis is still the King of all genres of music.

You have summed up John Farnham's Soul-centeredness precisely. He sings lots of songs with a message for the greater good for this world that we share. And Oh ! what a voice and interpretation ! John is a singing genius. I love the man ! (John was a heavy smoker for many years and was diagnosed with jaw cancer. Thankfully he was operated on and made a good recovery.)
This is so beautiful! I find John's music to be so uplifting and I think he's a total genius and really fascinating as an artist and person , so it's really lovely to listen to someone who feels the same and hear what he means to you ❤ One thing I've noticed is that he is very compassionate and respectful towards other people, which seems to be something you have in common with him. Lots of love!

That’s not true. He’s not a trained vocalist as say, Anthony Warlow, but to say he’s never had any vocal training or singing lessons just isn’t true.
@@jeffwilson7100It’s true. Has he learnt from many talented people over the years? Of course he has, but no, no lessons, no training, just a gift developed over decades. He started when he was at school. Maybe we can count his music teacher at his public high school, but that’s the extent of it
@@zanegravenall9522 Once again. You're mistaken. I've heard it from the man himself in interviews. How much training have you had. The answer is "very little", but that's not none. He definitely HAS had singing lessons, and there are other people floating around UA-cam who actually know the name of one of his early singing teachers.

There is an even better performance of this from John when he say it at the Melbourne carols by candlelight in the early 90’s, it was so magical.

Hi, I am new and I saw John so I had to stop. How about as easy as ice melting? There was no Charity event that John wouldn’t be at for no charge. Our Olivia Newton John used to come home and join him often. They have two big hearts and I won’t say had. Thank you. Have you listened to Miss Venetta, John and Lyndsey sing Amazing Grace yet. It is amazing. Richard Marx told us a long time ago that John is the best singer alive today. He is our Legend and the Voice.❤
