But why would you want that? Something being done optically will surely have an edge over the cropped version. You seem like saying shoot a photo with 24mm and present it to me like it was shot on 50mm. Like why? 😅

I wonder if this video was sponsored and if you got them for free and if Reeflex had editorial input? Sorry, but not mentioning negatives at all makes me suspicious. The naming is super misleading with this! It's not actually a 240mm equivalent lens on its own you only get that with a 120mm equivalent lens behind it. The lens just has 2x magnification so nothing new or revolutionary. It's nice that they optimized it though. The macro add-ons are smart however there was fringing going on in the shots.
Legally, he has to say if it is indeed sponsored. It seems to me he is just giving an overview of the product. There’s no need to give negatives when you’re just making it informational.
@Christstand4 legality is meaningless in a scenario where litigation is not worth the time.. And informational includes the information on the negatives.
I love this lens idea, I wish however they made a 10X for the main telephoto rather then this but perhaps its harder and costlier to build, but the image quality on the main sensor is just far superior to the other 2 lenses, but I am still really interested in getting this
Compression comes from changing distance to subject, not from the lens. Lens is what helps you to frsme the shot with that perspective so that objects appear to be closer that they actually are
Correct, the distance creates the compression, but the lens provides a clean angle of view which is required as well.. And while you can achieve the angle of view with a crop, that's the same as saying you don't need telephoto lenses at all because you can always just crop..
@@jeremyg9305Well, I'd ask not to twist my words, I only corrected statement that lenses squeeze objects together that is wrong, I've mentioned that you need lens to take a proper image, tho sometimes you really can crop to frame your composition better if you don't have lens with needed reach
Love your video. I'm an artist but I'll often snap photos for later art inspiration. I replaced my iPhone about a year ago with a $600 iPhone 11. everything else was insanely expensive. My shots are OK but I never thought about apps or lenses until recently. Warm sunset colors like reds become oranges, oranges become yellow, and yellows become almost white. I think I'll try the ProCamera app that you mentioned. I was also wondering what telephoto lenses you would recommend for an iPhone 11?
Amazing...I was looking to get the 2x lens for portraits, recently upgraded to the 15 Pro. . Do you recomend this for portraits or is the 2x better choice? I think this might be overkill for people photography.
great info...thanks for such a well presented video on the telephoto lens...how is the lens attached to the camera? do you have to have a special case for the phone? thanks.
Thank you for this video! I’d really like to try it out, but I don’t have the newer iPhones yet (still using the 12 Pro), but can’t wait to try this out one day! Are the macro add-ons going to be included when getting the 240 mm telephoto lens, or do you have to purchase those separately?
hi, nice video. What was the camera app? I mean black magic is video but what u was use for photos. was looking not like an app that I know. Please let me know. Thank you.
You are incredible all the way around sir. Your shots are stunning and the edits are spot on. The accent is a plus 😊 I truly mean that in a Viking way…… lol
I'm inbetween buyin the Long Range Macro so that I can use my 48Mp's of my iPhone 14 pro an this one. Does one need realy 48MP if shooting for fun? ... still contemplating on this decision
Another very nice video, thanks. Will this lens fit the Neewer Cages currently available. Since this uses the 5x lens there don’t seem to be a thread for this on my cage and it puts me off having to change cases every time I want to use it. Have to check with Neewer I suppose. Thanks for sharing
Great review I have just brought this on KS campaign and I have just now received my IP16PM so looking forward to using it when i get this lens whats your idea on other Reeflex lenses I mainly like to shot landscape and wildlife and my two hunting dogs in action I was sousing canon D5 but its so heavy and almost all the good photos I have made f=recently were taken on my Old IP13PM, I am not familiar with the reeflex apps but I have just purchased them to play with regards Mal
Не ну вот это , я уже понимаю !!! Вещщщь ! Даже при том, что у меня наикрутейшая беззеркалка от Canon со светосильным фиксом-шириком, очень даже захотелось такое стёклышко на мой самсунг взять ! )
Definitely not a need for spending thousands of dollars on mirrorless cameras and lenses now. I can win photo competitions with this set up hands down.
One thing bothers me looking at your sample images. You didn’t mention what software you used to “fix” the digital artifacts and poor antialiasing that is present in most phones. finally, no more blurry UFO footage
This made me laugh 🤣🤣
Got in here bec of sightings.
So basically it is a 2x lens?
And the 240mm is achieved by coupling it to the iphone's already existing 120mm?
Yep, 2x teleconverter lens specifically designed for 120mm on phone
Yip at a cost of £1350 for 12mp. Sony A7Rii + Sony 90mm or Sony 24-240mm money.
I was hoping for a direct comparison between a 240mm pic and a 5x zoom shot cropped in to match
But why would you want that? Something being done optically will surely have an edge over the cropped version.

So so nice of the lens. Makes me even more proud my 16 pro purchase.
I need it
This lens isn’t out yet, I only see it on kickstarter
Thanks for the information. The 120mm on iPhone is only 12Mpixels. Can this be used on the 24mm which is 48Mpx?
Can u digital zoom in more when using the lens? It would be great for concert!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH, SO EXCITED TO TRY IT OUT AND KEEP IN TOUCH

So cool. Whats the name of the Gimbal and does it do face tracking?
can be used on 15pro max? looks interesting indeed!
WOW, fantastic results👍 Thanks Mark.
This is the lens I’ve been searching for. I really want it so bad
I don’t think is a genuine review. This has been sent to you.
Wow how much is it,,Im waiting for my iPhone 16 pro max to be delivered this week

I'm a bit confused, is this lens available to buy ?
Yes, good question
Thats awesome man 😮😮
Is it compatable with other cases such like a moment case? Or do I need a reflex case
Watch other reviews, it need their own reflex case
I have a question, does this help with taking photo of severe lightning conditions?
You pushed the lens on the iPhone's telephoto camera. Can you try using the main camera? It should be better 🤩
the iPhone 15 Pro main camera is 48MP
and the iPhone 15 Pro telephoto camera is just 12MP
The video already shows that.. The main lense is too wide, you need a lens with a small angle of view.
Is it possible to use on the regular 16?
And just saw the end of the video 😞
Wich camera app is this bro ?
Great overview, thank you 🙏

I have a question just to be 100% sure. Will it also work on the iPhone 15 PRO, which has 3x?
Hi, can this lens be used also on Iphone 16 and having similar result? On Iphone 16 I don't have the 5 photo lens background compression option.
How can i buy this lens? Price please

Is it possible to buy it in Korea??
Wow.. sharpness

using this lens on x200 pro... 2*3.7X + 200MP
More like 85×2 with 200mp, it'll be a closer result, but I doubt it'll work properly
@thealaris Why wouldn't it work? X200 has a bigger lens, close to 1 Inch so I was expecting to get even better results than Iphone
Since the 5x telephoto lens of iphone 16 pro has a rather small sensor, this external lens cannot do a very good job anyway.

Why shouldnt this lense wirkt also with the 14pro and 15pro.
Its.a 2x... Not more...
Why should this only wirkt on 16pro ⁉️
How about a blurry edge and vignette?
man imagine w a vivo 200 pro that has a better sensor an allready does 240mm god photos

It is basically 50mm lens not 240mm. Fake marketing
its a 120mm lens which attaches to the inbuilt 120mm lens to make it 240mm
It's a2x teleconverter specifically designed for iphones 120mm camera module, so it only be used as 240mm lens
427 CAD?! 💀
So it’s a doubler then… ok.
Very expensive...
