I forget what the program was called, but it featured you, Martina, singing an old Charlie Walker song, Pick Me Up On Your Way Down. Martina, it's so nice to see women from the 90's decade giving tribute to the older classic country sons. Until I saw Charlie Walker on The Grand Ole Oprey, I had no idea who he was. He was also a huge influence on the country and western music snene, and he also hails from Texas, no less.
From the title I expected this song to be about reckless behavior and living dangerously, lol. Like partying too hard and driving too fast and doing stupid life-threatening stuff, not just sleeping around.
I really hope to meet her too! Funny thing is i didnt get this idea,,, but a girl next to me went by the stage and got a picture with her ! i was like why didn't i think of that!
I have never had short hair in my life and when I was diagnosed with cancer I asked my hair dresser to cut my hair like hers to prepare for chemo. She smiled and said honey I can't make miracles happen lol. Not everyone has such a full head of hair even with short hair, her hair is almost as awesome as her voice.
