I always saw it as more of a doing her part to save the next gf some trouble situation. "I might have saved a little trouble for the next girl" comes before that line. This was one of my mom's favorite songs because it reminded her of herself. She told me the story about the time she caught her first husband making out with some woman at a bar. Mom went outside, found his pride and joy (his motorcycle) and went at it with her bare hands. She broke the mirrors off and pulled out every wire she could find. A couple bikers saw her but just watched cause no way they were going to mess with a woman tearing apart a bike with nothing but her fingers and her rage. Needless to say, by the time she was done with it, her soon-to-be ex-husband had to walk home.
