Martina McBride is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING IN CONCERT. I was at the Austin Rodeo to see Clay Walker and his MS was delaying him from being able to take the stage. Martina was in Dallas, I think, & when she heard about it... She jumped on a plane and flew out to help him out. Her fans saw her on the Big Screen at their venue.
Seen her about 5 times. She is a real pro. Biggest pipes in this solar system.

This woman has a vocal range as large as all the “greats” that came after her. You must not be familiar with 20* singles and still remaining one of history’s highest selling female artists in history.....paving the way for those two to even have success. So no, this doesn’t prove she “rocks as hard” she has been at this for a hell of a lot longer.
Do not discredit this woman like that y’all. Unless you also wanna take in other greats Like, Dolly, Reba, Shania, and a bunch of others that made it possible for women in country today, beyond that, there was no one that could compare with her range in the 80s and 90s in country.

I agree that her singing talent is easily on par with them, but she doesn’t seem to have the angst to “rock as hard” as them. Her vocals rival theirs but she seems to sweet to write songs like Before He Cheats or Mama’s Broken Heart.

This video and song has it all. Screaming fiddles, incredible dobro, high lonesome harmonies and a rollicking groove. Great sense of humour and this chick ain't taking anymore of this crap! Nor does she say she's sorry! Don't like it? Too bad! The best part is Martina Freaking McBride. The voice of an angel and she is a goddess. Todays country artists could do well to pay attention to a stone cold pro showing how it's done.
