Guy is one of a kind and we're all much greater for it
Very true!!
I am *loving* this series but cannot, for the life of me, understand how it's NOT been called "Merry Christmas" (episode 1), "Scary Christmas" (episode 2) "Hilari-Christmas" (episode 3) and, presumably, "Solitary Christmas" (episode 4) and "Dirty Harry Christmas" (episode 5). Missed opportunity, that.
Many Happy Christmases and all the best in the New Year, Guy, thanks for all the joy you bring.
Yes good thoughts - I swapped sad christmas for thoughtful as there are enough people out there who find christmas a difficult time of the year without me adding ot their problems
@@ThinkSpaceEducationYes, good thinking. Truth be told, I was having difficulty thinking of any other -ary words that fit for episode 4 so I went with solitary hoping to lean towards the sense of "pensive".
Thanks again to you - and Arnold - very much enjoying this series.
Or Guy Xmas Madness level one two three four and five 😅😂
Big Props to Arnold - you can often see him reaching to play keyboards, like inflatable dinosaurs do...
I find alcohol amplifies my creative ability.., especially during judgment 😅 hilarious
Guy, you keep amazing us as always with your incredible talent.
Nice to see Ableton again. Thanks Guy. Initially the Electronic stuff from Arturia didn’t quite convince for the “Comedy” aspect but when Clarinet came in, yes, it worked.

This is pure entertainment ! Guy and Arnold are just an unbeatable couple. Have a great and creative new year! Lots of warm greetings from Athens
And to you!
Yah, my festive jumper plays a tune just like this. Thanks Guy and Arnie 🦖
7:55. Wonderful madcap humour, Guy. Had me creased up. Reminds me of the Sellers scene where he frantically wrestles with a blow up doll :).
Guy that was hilarious watching your working out of this tune and watching Arnold's input too!! Awesome as always. This is a great concept.
Im addicted.
Many many more Happy Christmases Guy! 🎈
Anyone who can produce anything even vaguely to the brief while being heckled by an inflatable gift-bearing dinosaur may consider themselves a true artist 👍
Strangely I could zone him out after a while
@@ThinkSpaceEducation In which case, that elevates you from "true artist" to "absolute, card-carrying legend" and explains how you've gone so far!
I love your videos so much!
What a neat timing :D
I was a little skeptical about the bendy bells, but pulled it out of your sack and put a bow on top with the underlying JB theme. Thanks Guy and Arnie happy Holidays 🎅🦖🎄
You're certainly adding greatly to my 'twixmas' enjoyment Guy, flippin' funny, flippin' fascinating and stealthily inspirational and educational! Thank you! It also gives me the viable excuse to go to my studio armed with a foot pump and inflatable of my choice!
glad you enmjoyed it!
Hi Guy, it’s really made my day seeing you use Ableton, I love this DAW so much, brilliant.
Its got a lot going for it
Ableton, Logic! Wow!!!!
Excellent series Guy!
thank you
Happy New Year man
And to you
The cheapest set of sleigh bells is only 8€ at Thomann. I think that is one thing for the box full of odds and ends that is in every studio.
Thanks Guy. You’ve just convinced me never to try Ableton.
Ha! Its growing on me
My first thought for a "comedic instrument" was the tuba. Couldn't have been any further from where you went with this. 😝
Yes tuba is a bit of a go to but I try to mix it up
One thing that I was curious about is, did you select that specific noise for your metronome or is that default? Does anybody report that using a different one helps the creative process or just keeps it out of the way?
Yes if you work with live players as I do, they hate a metro one that has any tonal element so I use a urei click
@@ThinkSpaceEducation Thanks for the tip!
I downloaded jingle bells from Fracture Sounds for free at your behest... or suggestion rather :). From an earlier video, maybe an old Christmas Special. They sound great. Loved your video!
ho ho ho
Arnold is the king of the show right now.
He is
@@ThinkSpaceEducation 🤣🤣🤣
I keep hearing good things from Cubase users about Studio One
Its rising rpaidly
I was expecting vocals, because the human voice can make some of the goofiest sounds there is
Why would you cut out the bits where you didn't understand how the software works and show us your process for others to learn from you on how you resolved it in the end?....
Write somehting in Studio ONe
OK
