More importantly, Roland and Althea's dynamic is nearly zero, she just looks cure for the most part. And most importantly, Fatima is hotter. As you can see, my priorities have been distorted at some point.

I don't care what anyone says. This is the true canon ending and it's not just their color palettes that compliments each other. Their connection with Mattias and the burden that the both of them will now have to carry together. There's a sense of maturity in their relationship that is very telling in their conversations, it feels a lot more natural and not forced like Althea and her "love magic" shenanigans. There's trust there and their incantation doesn't sound corny either. Frozen Void!!!

@CecilBMarie you are not alone besides this is just an extra ending so theres only a slight chance you get it you can get that ending if you answered corectly on every conversation you had with fatima before battle when she was still your enemy

You need to answer the pre batle questions correctly (by correct, I mean the choice that prefers Fatima more. [I cannot remember what answers are correct, but there are walkthroughs.]) BTW, there is only 2 endings. Fatima's (Which I prefer.) and Althea's.
@JusticeLakeCP no. althea is either still a fiend, or going to turn back into one after the party beats her(i forget which). fatima sends her mind into althea to suppress the fiend. roland's love is able to pull fatima back and they make the final bond

It makes it more special I guess, and at least they give you a choice unlike the first game. okay that's odd. your ending is dependent on the choices made during pre-battle conversations with fatima. if you support althea you more you get hers, and vice-versa. their heart meters fill a few points respectively. i mean you can fill althea's heart meter to near full with normal scripted intermissions and still get the fatima ending. if your having that much trouble check out gamefaqs.com, it has fairly extensive walkthrough and has every character's intermission guide and ending
GhostLK I know it's late but to be fair Althea had a lot of time to build it up while Fatima only joins about dunno thru the game so they have time to polish Althea as a potential partner

Loved this ending!!! but why did they make it so annoying to get without knowing what choices to choose from to get this ending had to pass this game multiple times before i just gave up and used a walkthrough to get her ending
im pretty sure thats why this ending is there, it doesnt really go with the story but some people (myself included) are suckers for a killer rack so they want to picture roland ending up with fatima.

I don't think there is, as far as I'm concerned, the only endings are Althea and Fatima. I think Nagrarok meant the final intermission.
