I love seeing Grail again, I feared that she would become a forgotten character. I believe that maybe Grail can become a little good or an anti-hero because when she was imprisoned with Ares, she actually admits that she deserved that punishment, and she seemed actually concerned when she seemingly killed or injured Ares.
This is such a refreshing change of pace with regards to Wonder Woman arcs as she's never dealt with an enemy thinking this fourth dimensionally, they all synergize very well together, and YEAH Doctor Psycho isn't walking out of this alive cause Circe is going to kill him with Angle Man's help (whether he want to or not🤣)
Love this issue so much. It's a very rare instance where a Woman Woman writer includes the Wonder Rogues and the Wonder Girls in 1 single issue, and I applaud King for that, something that numerous WW writers from recent memory has not tackled at all.
This run is quickly becoming my favorite. I'm surprised Cheetah wasn't brought in either, but I think she'll factor into the fight one way or another.and the new spin on Angle-man is definitely interesting, I see a trip to Apokalips in the future (hopefully). Grail is back!!! And I'm happy!!!

I love this issue because it really does hit at something about Diana. She is a Great hero and she's always ready to help anybody in need, but she always has a hard time just asking for help herself. Donna, Yara, and Cassie coming back even after losing fair and square, saying "Bump that. Maybe you can do this by yourself, but we're not going to let you cuz you don't have to", it's honestly the kind of thing Diana would do to anybody else. Seeing the Wonder Women against this new Villainy Inc is gonna be a sight to behold. As for Cheetah, I hope Tom King sees just how much she is in need of a redemption arc. If I had to make a comparison, if Diana is Thor, Cheetah is her Loki. Someone who is more sad & broken than anything else & in desperate need of a friend.
Silver Swan's origin and reasoning about why she became Wonder Woman's enemy... it was very weak, I'll be honest. That is the most foolish and petty reason I've ever seen.
Tho I still hate Yara is force to go by wondergirl when she was wonder woman before that. They forced that title on her but she is a grown ass woman lol. I just always liked Yara and hated her being put in a sidekick role
Hey, absolutely love your videos and especially your Wonder Woman coverage since she's my favorite hero. That said, while genuinely hate being that person Wonder Woman is a special interest. During Gail Simone's run Diana never dated Steve, she was with Nemesis. Hell to my knowledge (which can be wrong) Diana never dated Steve as Pérez paired him with Etta Candy who he eventually married.
My only issue with Diana's stance on getting assistance from her "sisters", is it doesn't feel like this is how she should be handling the the situation, given the stakes. If she were to fail, could the others step up effectively or is working with them, the best chance they have at saving lives and defeating the Sovereign. I get that it's a common trope, and that usually if it is addressed it's implied or shown that the other characters aren't available or its a prode/ego thing for the protagonist etc. Showing them here as being willing and able, just kinda highlights how questionable her call on this is, especially with the team that's being assembled against Diana. 😅
Cheetah did not join the Sovereign's Anti-WW team. So my guess is Cheetah will end up assisting Diana. I would also like to see Max Lord return. His mind-controlling powers are much more powerful than Doc Psycho's but at the same time, he like Circe, can't be "controlled" by the Sovereign.
Awesome issue Tom king is doing a terrific job on WW right now the sovereign is showing how dangerous of a threat he is by uniting some of her biggest threats to take Diana down but I won't be surprised when it will fall apart
There is a line of dialogue in this issue that is insane. Here it is verbatim. Damian: "Had you simply voted for my name we would have avoided all of this." Jon: Delta Force sounds like a movie your grandpa makes you watch to convince you you're straight." Who the hell actually talks like that lol?

Not having Nubia turns me off. Although Wonder woman is one of my favorite characters
Diana isn't close to Nubia as she is to Donna, Cassie or even Yara. You can see Nubia in the Amazons Attack miniseries.
