I love learning from you. I enjoy the realistic element of it. Can you do a step-by-step video on how to do the body of a lion...it is the proportion thing that I am not doing well with. Don't know if this is also useful but I find that working on paper a blunt H is great for the initial sketch as it wont scratch or indent the paper, it is then very easy to make any alterations or rearticulate limbs. Hope this is also useful.

Will be using the video to draw my first few lions. Wanted to ask what pencil/brand I should use for the white strokes as I’m doing it by hand rather than digital

Maybe try using a 5H and then work your way up. In the end I was using a 6B. I didn't know what shades to use as I did it on paper too. I haven't found that the brand matters too much as I just use a set from kmart and have had a good result with my drawing.

Yes but it would be a bit more difficult because you have to switch the colors as you are drawing.
