    It's great to see how you turned it around and still created a great painting. Its good to know that even artists with many years experience still have off days or struggle with a certain piece of artwork. We are all learning all the time. It's great that you can share your experiences with us all 😊 👍🏻

      I totally agree with you Cheryl. So giving this a thumbs up rather than repeat all you wrote. Thanks Sheila.

    If nothing else, I thank you for the encouragement to at least try to fix paintings that didn't quite work. There's nothing to lose if the attempt fails, and at worst I'll learn that a specific process doesn't work to fix aa given problem.

    I do love the abstracted version very much. I'm pleased you changed the curled tusks as they made me think of a wild boar. : ) Thanks for talking your way through this project, very informative!

    We are our worst critics aren't we? Thank you for your teaching and for your videos. I've learned so much from you. I've learned so much from you. Painting over. I like how real you are and showing that things don't always work out. But that's when we learn the most. 😊

    Thank you Daniel, I’ve just started doing art at 64😮after a fifty year absence, it’s like starting from scratch and I’m trying, graphite, charcoal, watercolour & acrylics and look at it very relaxed and make it as fun as possible. I too make lots of boobies and end up stoping and start again and it can come down to so many variables not excuses ie. Is it the right paper,paints pencil etc etc…It’s good to see people with your level of skill and professionalism admitting 👏🏻in such a public way that at times you screw up too! You have a new sub here.❤️✌️👴🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇮🇪

    Hi,
    Just a suggestion. Elephant trunks at times break off, and owners of elrphants shave or cut somehow the tusks, thus made shorter. Yet, the broken down tusk do not usually have a curve to ir. Instead, the tusk is straighter and shorter.(no curve at the end). You are amazing...I almost feel I will forever be an amateur painter. I do appreciate your suggestions. I cannot wait to include some into my painting process. Again, thank you so very much.

    I also must at time struggle with a painting. I have found that my problem was with composition in most cases.

    Funny enough I kind of prefer the before to the after picture. The eyes look a bit better and I like the warm umber against the blues rather than the almost greyish look of the after. Both are good anyway. 👍

    I’ve learnt…..you on your worst art day is 50x better than me on my best……😂🤪 I personally didn’t much care for the outline part though.
    Loved the both paintings, great to see how you go back and improve, change…….

    Struggling in the process also is a process right.. I think for anyone no matter how much skilled you are struggle still exists.. The final outcome is more important

    • @StudioWildlife
      @StudioWildlife  3 роки тому +1

      sometimes the process can be more important than the final outcome, thinking of the things that you learn during the process also helps to improve your future artwork. That struggle is what makes us grow as artists. But even if we struggle we should always try to improve and not be afraid to paint over things we don’t like and try to improve and learn as we paint an individual picture rather than after painting it.

    • @DanilaAbramenkovArt
      @DanilaAbramenkovArt 3 роки тому

      @@StudioWildlife that's for sure I agree for the artists.. but for the people who would like to have your artwork not really interested how you struggled they see final result))
