Thank you! I am glad to find this channel) very informative and thank you for the variety of bad and good examples, I mean it is very important not just to hear what could be done wrong, but also to see
I have to say, once I started applying that dark charcoal at the end it's like a rebelation eye opening. my charcoal hair looks by far better than my pencil version. you are such a great teacher! thanks for this video.
i'm so glad i found your channel almost a year ago! you have helped me improve my art a lot, i also do wildlife painting/drawings still trying to learn how to do fur in acrylics even tho i watched all of your videos, you make it look easy😄
I have recently found your channel and think your videos are great! Keep up the good work. I really like like this one. I draw mostly with charcoal and continue to struggle to capture long white dog hair (Old English Sheepdog) Do you have any videos or tips on how to get realistic looking white hair? Thank you, Pete
I think it depends on the piece you are trying to create, I sometimes like to tone bits of my paper with acrylic washes before drawing, but I do like having the white of the paper show through in some places in my finished drawings. I don’t really find it any easier with the toned paper it’s just a slightly different experience

Would using toned paper make it easier?

Yeah
I pity those people who doesnt have a pencil eraser when doing realism
I had one before and tried to use it and it didn’t work at all for some reason it might have been the paper
