Why does everyone get so butthurt over MCR
There's a lot of reasons why. My reason is because I practically grew up with them. From 2007 until they broke up. They were recognized by everyone as a good band. When they broke up, it just hit people hard realizing that they won't hear new music from them anymore.

So when I first saw this video I started to cry. 9 months ago my idol said goodbye to youtube cause his amazing band As It Is got sined. I never resented him or even was mad. I just never truly understood. Until 2 days ago when I went to the Virginia Beach Warped tour date. I was up front and ready for my now favorite band to play. As he was up there I realized that his is where he belonged. We had eye contact and interacted with each other. And on the last song (Dial Tones) he hopped down and was right there in front of me. He then proceeded to make us forehead to forehead and both sing these amazing lyrics into a Mic. But that's just it. I didn't see a UA-camr, I saw a rock star and I could tell he couldn't be happier.

Pretty weird how both halves come to the channel and check for a new video, hoping he's back. Guys, he's not coming back. He was too sad to say goodbye to the people who helped him start off his career. He didn't abandon UA-cam, he just left a huge part of his life. He left a part of himself here that he'll always remember. He wanted a proper ending and this was it.

Happy one year of being publicly signed! I'm so proud of how far you've come man, here's to the next years of touring and musical perfection from your rad band! I'm missing you, but have the time of your life out there!
Yesterday, I met this amazing person. A couple years ago I saw a video of this guy covering a song I liked, and got really into his UA-cam channel. Every week I would watch the covers and listen to them constantly on my mp3 player. Later on I realized he was in a band, and that just opened up more songs for me to listen to and love. These songs that As It Is poured their heart and soul into, helped me stop self harming. And I told them this yesterday, at Warped Tour. Not as many people knew about the signing, so I got a pass pretty easily. Only about 20 people were there. I got to the tent pretty late and was last in line. The guys were so kind, and I couldn't believe that I was meeting them. They all signed my poster while I was trying to not cry. I got down to Patty and told them what their music has done for me. He pulled me into a hug and said ''Thank you so much, that means a lot. Stay strong .'' I said thank you and that I would. As quickly as possible I rushed to the bathroom so that I could freakout without them seeing me sob. Patty said two sentences, but it meant so much to me. Later on in the day I went to their set. About 45 people were there and it was easy to get close to the front. The show was amazing and I sung every song as loud as I could. It was incredible. I went home smiling like an idiot.

I just found your channel after about a year of listening to as it is. You have come so far and I am so so proud of you. To think that as it is was your "small pop punk band" just three years ago is crazy to think about when it is now so successful and big. For anyone who is saying this channel is dead you have to remember he said he'd be on tour for a year so I'm guessing in a couple of months he'll start making videos again but even if he doesn't you should still be so happy for him that he's able to live out his dream and that all of us here helped him do that.
