Every Anthony Ainley Master "Cameo" in NuWho (60TH ANNIVERSARY SPOILER)

- Hearing his laugh in "Utopia" was a welcome delight but not entirely unexpected. Seeing him in the montage in "The Timeless Child" was the same. But hearing him not just among but before the laughs of the new series Masters? That was a surprise that I had to listen to several times to be completely sure but that is definitely his laugh. :') I'm not surprised he was chosen out of all the classic Masters though. Roger Delgado deserves all the praise for being the original Master, but the impact Anthony Ainley made during his time in the role cannot be denied. Not to mention he got to play it for nearly a whole decade and even got to come back for a swan song in "Destiny Of The Doctors" after he was technically replaced. And I guess his laugh is more iconic (sorry, Roger). I'm just glad he made it back into an anniversary special in some capacity. 😼
I look forward to many more of these "cameos" (even if just audio) - as long it is clips of the real thing because if they dare recast his Master, or worse, turn him into some AI digital puppet voiced by a "sound-alike" (which probably won't) or worse, an AI replication, I am gonna walk all the way to the UK if I have to so I can fight whose decision that was (and you all should too in the case of the latter for any actor). I miss him dearly but I don't want him replicated either because you really can't. Not with any human.
Anyway, I'm busy working on an addendum to my Anthony Ainley letters video(s) because even in writing a script for it I was so in a hurry that there's a lot I wanted to say that I forgot to. But even that's taking a while because this month has been... eventful. But I wanna get it out before Christmas so maybe I'll just wing it with the notes I have. IDK.

I’m glad others realise it’s Ainley’s laugh in the Giggle - when I raised it elsewhere it was poopooed!
I Wonder if Using Ainley's Laugth first in the Giggle a reference to Destiny of the doctors, as there is a level in Toymaker's Domain, Perhaps He was The Master The Toymaker Challenged
No, because in Destiny of the Doctors, the Master is clearly NOT trapped in the toymaker's tooth. In fact he somehow got his hands on the Toymaker's music box so he must've done SOMETHING to him. Ainley's Master just got 10x more badass in hindsight and I'm not even sure RTD even considered the game... but then again the laugh in the tooth sure sounded like it came from the game's infamous intro/trailer... anyone with better ears than I care to investigate?
@@ReturnofTheBunny I actually Looked into it myself and it is the exact laugh sound bite from the intro to the game, Honestly, nothing is confirmed that it has anything related to destiny of the doctors, but it's great to think about
can you canonise the 1997 computer game?@@commanderskittles6558
The sound clip is actually from Destiny of the Doctors
I also heard John Sims laugh as well
0:19 The God of Death!
"Word Up"
I just realised something, Missy laughs *after* the Dhawan Master. Does that confirm the fan theory that he came between her and Simm? 🤔😮
Russel doing the Hand of Rani thing again. What a troll.
Looks like Missy is back
No And yes, because she died became the spy. Master dyed again became a tooth and some new version will show up
No the tooth was picked up by a Master Builder.
*Evil Laugh*
Wait thats ainley in the tooth!?!!
I thought Ben Miller as the Ainley Master could work.
It could be. Personally I was thinking Beevers
0:26 that was a non-male voice but that was NOT Missy?? (Or was it - am I stupid?)
Pretty sure it’s Missy. Sounds identical to when she and Clara travels to medieval England in The Magician’s Apprentice.
@@JTD95 Do you know I'm rewatching the series and that is the last episode I watched and I still didn't realise. I guess I have a case of the dumb-dumbs
@@RandomThumbVids lmao. I honestly have no clue how I even noticed that. Just kinda happened randomly :p
How about my husband Robin soans aka Luvic
I know in face the Raven he (Chronolock Guy aka civul of Habria) only appears to die but at least he gets a wife with all of seron and Katuras best traits 😅😮 (alien lady aka Toci of Habria in my mind) and then I guess there’s also Shadrak winter 😂
But he needs to become part of the pantheon of discord 😢😮
My concern with AI replication is actors that were murdered - I don't want a computer simulation of Judith Barsi starring in a new live-action movie with some modern pre-teen (female) pretty little thing. Judith's career came to a final end in December 1989 with the release of "All Dogs Go to Heaven". Please, executives, leave Jude Barsi to rest in her eternal peace in Forest Lawn in the Hollywood Hills.
Somehow I think they'll be happy to leave some fucking nobody alone.
@@henryandrews700 Yeah sure let's it's pretend that the average person knows who the fuck that is.
Barsi and Heather O'Rourke died in the same year but Judirh outlived Heather by about six months. She will have reacted to Heather's death.
Relevance???
These things are made using archival footage
From Episodes of classic who And the video game destiny of the doctors
Anyway unlikely I don't think Doctor who would ever have the budget for that. The fans would riot and usually they just Recast a character
Big finish has impressions
There's the two guys who they reck'st the first doctor with
Technically anthony ainley himself and every other master And every doctor passed the second
