I still can't believe he's no longer with us. I was introduced to him through Dirt 2 so whenever I play the game again, I'm going to be sad racing against his AI. He didn't deserve to go out the way he did. Well, at least Ken reunited with Colin McRae and Dave Mirra up in heaven. R.I.P😭
Sadly when I heard the news about Ken it was only 3 days before my birthday. In a quick action to show some remembrance i decided to do something small but what I thought might be meaningful: I decided to buy a cake with a custom series of hoonigan logos and a small print of kens face and instead of putting my age as the candles I decided to use "43" as the candles. I really saw ken as an idol and it's such a sad reality that he's passed but at least he left this world doing what he loved.
I was introduced to Ken due to NFS 2015. I was just in awe at his hoonicorn and his skills with it.
It was just great to see a muscle car that embodied the american spirit and perform just as good if not better than some jdm cars in their own lane.
I stared watching him pretty much as soon as dirt 3 when i was a kid and been a very big fan of him to this day. Loved everything that he had out and i think alot of people look at him the same way he looked at mcrae. Forever a legend ❤️
This made me tear up. I cant believe hes been gone for 8 months. Even though hes gone, he still lives on high in my memory and is still my hero and idol in life. Keep resting in peace Ken. #KB43VER
He had driven through my town a couple weeks before he passed to head up to a place north of where I live to go snowmobiling with his family and one of his buddies. I used to wonder if he drove by my small town and ever realized how many people in my town knew who he was and how important he was in the grand scheme of motorsports. I got a Hoonigan hat for Christmas, right before he passed, and it's the only hat I've worn since.
I was introduced to him when james may rode with him in top gear. Ever since then he was someone who inspires me until now. R.I.P. Ken Block, I hope he is hooning up there.

I remember seeing his monster energy subaru in dirt 2 for the first time. I was in 6th grade and his livery was nothing like I've seen before. I used to make Dirt 2/3 gmv for fun and posted it on my ig so I regularly played the game but now I haven't got back to it. A bit cliché or corny but for me, Ken lives in the festivities of Dirt 2 that's why he always greets me there and that makes me sad. He was also part of the reason I got into DC shoes and the sports and at one time I even did street mtb stuff because of him.

This video really made me realize how a lot of my love for rally and cars is due to Ken Blocks influence and his presence in Dirt 2 and 3. My love for rally and racing in general started with those two games and he was a prominent figure in them. This video brought me back to those times and I have a deeper appreciation for his contributions to motorsport in general and how he lived his life, not allowing his age to stop him from doing what he loved. Thank you for this my brother ✊🏾
Goddamn. I watched several of your videos and hope this one gets more love too. Your storytelling, editing, and choice of music really belong in the top tier of "essay youtubers". Especially when you also consider that you are still quite young. As someone who is not so interested in racing games, you have managed to keep me more engaged with it.
I hope so, I want to be able to continue doing this, cause if I'm enjoying making these, and y'all like watching them, I don't see any reason to stop makeing them
I remember when I was young I was introduced the fast and the furious movies after watching the first one I instantly got interest of cars thanks to Paul Walker but when I got a little older starting learning about cars my cousin introduced me Hoonigan and Ken block and watching my first gymkanna and seeing Ken driving the Hoonicron I was amazed his driving technique I love driving his cars in forza but one early morning of January getting ready for work I open Instagram saying about his pass I thought it just fake until I saw ford official instagram account say about his pass I was stunned and sadden let’s just say it was a long day for me by the time I got on my car I make sure I did an burnout made my tires bald in honor for Ken block I hope his daughter become the greatest driver just like her father rest in peace Ken Block, God Speed 🕊️

when i heard ken had died i wasnt really a huge fan of him before, the most i had seen of gymkhana was just a pic of the hoonicorn, but after finding out so much about him i eventually took an interest in rally and is now one of my fav racing sports and even decided to make a art tribute of ken for my final college project #KB43EVR

Jeez, I remember back in 2014 or '15 when I played Dirt 3 for first time and seeing Gymkhana 5 that's how I got introduced to Ken Block and whole Hoonigan stuff, ever since then it kinda left a mark on me, always loved rally games since and modifying cars a certain way. Still am bit sad that he passed away and may he Hoon in Heaven
I was introduced to ken through Rob Dyrdek’s show on mtv called the fantasy factory they were filming one of the gymkhana videos and I remember kens rally Subaru and then rob had a mini Subaru right beside it after that i never saw ken again due to me growing up kinda poor with no internet and no computer or phones at the time then years later gymkhana 7 came out and that video hit like a fright train like who do you know is crazy enough to build an AWD mustang, I remember rewatching that video hundreds of times seeing ken hitting that button to let the chains off that monster, doing doughnuts around lowriders god i wish i could go back and watch it like the first time I watched it, man i always wanted to meet ken sadly i cant. o7

i still remember back in the day in the library i was paying to get acces to them just to watch the videos with friends and i can say the 22 mil was not all of it cuse i still know me and my friends were like charing them on our phones in school even tho the screens back then were like 144p still we loved it and i bet we werent the only one who did this.

I never knew if sych great man but i felt some impact of some person all around and now seeing the actual person im kinda sad that i didnt know of such. I can at least see and be grateful for the contributions he made to the game Need for Speed Rivals, the game that most of my childhood has in it of itself. To a man i hardly knew, i feel great honor knowing what he did.
