ive been a mythic raider for multiple tiers in retail and got pretty much everything done in classic and still died at 6 in the dwarf starting zone to a normal bear lmfao
Comfy video, looking forward to the next part of your journey :) Been playing forever myself, including classic, but HC is something fresh, and I especially like how it keeps starting zones alive even long after the initial launch zerg.
Thanks! That's what I like about HC as well, I really enjoy the classic starting zones and seeing them busy with players. I will try to make another similar update at a higher level if I don't die!
Yes, I do have a few stupid decisions that killed me in hardcore.
1: Playing a warrior
2: Trying to solo an ELITE MOB..... as a Warrior
3: Being overconfident over being a paladin who wiped the floor with the Defias mobs in a cave in Westfall, and just running away from it after completing the quest thinking I could outrun all the mobs guarding the exit rather than slowly fighting my way through the exit

I tried horde on hardcore for something fresh, but it turns out that feeling fresh also means having no idea about the danger ahead. I was casually walking by when someone triggered that Centaur quest at 6:50, suddenly 5 mobs spawned in my face and chopped me to pieces.
That area is rough! I didn't include it in this video but I was passing by while I was a lower level and someone started the quest, I also got a bunch of mobs on me and ran for my life. Sorry to hear about losing your char though!
Rip to your first char. My first char died at lvl 22. It was a tauren shaman, i died to a lvl 23 gnome that spawns a robot when you attack it.
Ah I am sorry for your character as well! Dying at that level is though, I guess that these are valuable lessons for the next ones!
i just died with my warrior on horde rip, but it's fun to level, i'm really bad at it tho. hope to continue for as long as i can. I heard people were leaving nek'rosh for stiches though (on horde side) makes me nervous.
Sorry to hear that about your warrior! It shouldn't be an issue if people are leaving Nek'Rosh, you never know when you start a new char on hardcore and can easily swap realms.
Any updates? I am still struggling with hunter over confidence having died 7 times all before 30. Glad to see your video and making it to 30. I have used owls/bats but I am not sure screech is such a good thing since it tends to aggro mobs in the area which has lead to 2 deaths after my pet gets overwhelmed. I am thinking something studier like a bear and keep my pet on passive.

Hey, thanks for the comment! It's going well so far, I am close to 40. It's a bit slow as I am also working on other videos. Survival is still solid in my opinion, I have no issues fighting higher level mobs and elites. Maybe you can try leveling in lower level zones to stay ahead and reduce the risks.
My Nelf hunter died at lvl 21.. being stupid. For no reason whatsover, I tried to kill a lvl 23 zombie mob in a corner of westfall, but forgot that my newly tamed carrion bird had no abilities. It was very late at night.. I had been telling myself to go to bed for the previous couple of hours. I'm still asking myself ... why?
That's why I have a new rule for hardcore, and I won't play if I'm tired or not in the mood for it. I tend to forget that is so easy to die in Classic!
