John Tobias was a huge MK lore fanatic. Would love to see him back after the dumpster fire that was the MK11 Story Mode Part 1. If they hadn't introduced Aftermath it would have been the worst installment story-wise. Seriously, there is no excuse for that Hollywood-esque bullshit driven time story that spoonfeeds the players with the "importance of time" because they ran out of ideas on how to implement proper writing.
anthonytrashboat - John left Midway in 1999, and started his own video game production company called Studio Gigante, which shut down in 2005. He now works for the gaming / software company Zygna.
The real saibot who created the best characters in all mortal kombat
Nhoj Saibot
Hahahah! That was before companies hired an interior designer to make the place look hip and slick.....
We need you back John...save Mortal Kombat!
Save? But Mortal Kombat is Great!
@@misterj9619 But that's your opinion. In my opinion Injustice 2 is overrated. Mortal Kombat is way better.

@@mark030a Tobias wrote the lore. Not this crappy recon it has become because staying true to the story is hard work.
What a time to be in the 90s ❤
These men have made my childhood. Thanx.
I would pay anything for a brand new 4K digitalized 2D Mortal Kombat.
Midway one of the best and most creative companies of the 1990s.
That's some rare footage right there

Soo crazy seeing this footage years later.. Awesome!..Cheers
Midway was literally using the DEFAULT code for the simplex lock lol
I hope one day John helps make another MK game. Dude has a lot of talent, I miss him.

Ed boon should bring John Tobias back and fix Mortal Kombat 11
I wish i was in the 80s and 90s again. Beats any decade after that 2010 2020 and 2030
Tobias is one of my favorite artist of the 90's and he's still good. Shame how he left Midway / Netherrealm.
