Not gonna lie. That bit about the Imperium Super Duper Star Destroyer made me laugh. It's easy to imagine the Empire spending the absurd amount of resources needed to make something so impractical, only to decommission it before it ever saw service.
I know you'll get to this in the finale of the Vong sub-series. Won't stop me from going through the motions though.

8:28 Imagine that you're a mail courier and you're on the tip of the ship closest to us on our right and you have a package that needs to go to the other tip just above it. You can look out a space window and see it, and it doesn't look that far away, but you have to take a shuttle on a five hour drive 3/4 down the length of the ship and back up again just to get to the other side.

The First one reminds me of the ship in spaceballs not because the ships are similar it just the fact how long the ship is and how long it take to get from one end to an other.
I love the idea of the imperium class. It is THE PERFECT example of the tarkin doctrine. It's hilarious because it's so FRIGGIN huge, that it struggles to operate properly. It's so frickin huge, that it takes like what, 3 days to tour? IT IS SO FRICKIN HUGE, that a civil war was fought on it! It's brilliant!
I could see the Hegemon not as a ship to secure the empire but for it to conquer other galaxies. I imagine this song ship along with all its compliment sent to a foreign galaxy for the single purpose of conquering it with no need of reinforcement or supplies from the SW galaxy since it could produce its own new capital ships with its on board factories and new soldiers with its cloning facilities.

If the 2nd Death Star had been destroyed but Palpatine had survived, do you think he would've prioritized ships like the Eclipse instead? Or focus on making a new type of Imperial II with a scaled down superlaser?
He's most likely start construction on a THIRD death star.

Sovereign-class, I think. It's a slightly smaller Eclipse, IIRC, and would be a bit more useful.

I personally love ansel hsiao's work. My favorite of his is either the impellor or the secutor. And while it's not a star destroyer, I REALLY love his model of the All Terrain Siege Platform. It's so frickin cool.

I love how the only feasible way to make the ultra star destroyer practical would be to have cities that each specialize on a different part of the ships systems. Imagine trying to get something to the bridge by hand, you would have to set up a pneumatic tube system.
The last star ship was amazing but just imagine the amount of people it would take to use that ship

You should make a factions compared of light vehicles? Like Ghost, Warthog, 74-Z, Flitknot speeder, Rebel Combat speeder, AT-RT, the speeders from TLJ.
Also another good idea i had was Avengers (IW) vs Jedi Council (RotS)
Warthog and Combat speeder seat multiple people. I don't think they should be considered

The Imperium Star destroyer kinda reminds me of the Separatist ship that young anakin blew up in episode 1 when he said: “Now this is Pod raining!”

@@justinbiggs1005 I personally prefer smaller ships... destroyers fir the most part. Love battleships as well, carriers too. Really can't say there's one i give much preference to. But I do so addore the spectacle they represent.

@@antheunis011 destroyers can look pretty awesome too. Style wise I like late ww2 American destroyers. However some of the best looking big ships in my opinion are the ones built before ww1. They look pretty cool.
@@justinbiggs1005 hmmm. Real world ships... I'd go with the Kriegsmarine fleet. Carrier would be Yorktown class.
Sci fi... i can't really pick. I could say industrial terran modular ships I guess... the likes of UNSC with the Halberd, the Autumn and Trafalgar. Battlestars. Cygnus Gunstar is one of my favs. Kol, Marza and Sova from SinS. Really anything that makes it look like a stout warship, rather than a sleek graceful ship.
Oh and Imperial Navy from 40k. Because who doesn't like giant cathedrals with thrusters and dakka slappes on them.
I feel like the Hegemon class Star Dreadnought could be used to invade/colonize other galaxies if it were fast enough and able to produce resources.
Its design goes hard.
I love fan made designs they combine their best aspects of the source material with pure cool factor

@@CS-nq9sq I agree, since the AT-M6 is a lot more advanced and is much larger, it is a great threat to the Imperial AT-AT walker. I think one shot from the M6's artillery gun will blow the head off the AT-AT, making it a one shot, one kill. The Imps might take out the FO's version of the AT AT, but not the M6.
But Vader would destroy Kylo, without a doubt.

On one hand, the First Order has far superior tech.
On the other hand, the Empire is actually competent.
The first ship is so big, nation states were formed within and started warring with eachother. That's peak empire.
This video was awesome! I hope this can be a series. I’d love to see fanon star fighters, non-Imperial ships, or whatever else you might have seen (be it Star Wars, Halo, or any of the other universes you cover).

I prefer shields that don't explode like a nuke when somebody points a laser at them…
Personal shields were never a thing in star wars until after disney, the reason for this was Radiation poisoning, which is why Droideka's were so effective because they were inorganic beings

Will it be more like halo where science and government have a strong authority, like war hammer where magic and such dominate, or Star Wars with strong governments but ones that can only monitor certain areas and heavy levels of piracy, or perhaps a more dystopian future, or even something entirely different such as fallout or the matrix? Do you think AI, space travel, cyberspace, war/weapons of war will exist in the distant future? What form of governance if any will be most dominant? Will there be one or many. Will there be trade or self reliance? What about arts?

@@floo1465 They'd need minatiurized interdictors for that to work, not mentioning the sheer danger of sending something at FTL speeds INSIDE the ship where there would be no capital-grade shielding. They're better off using hypersonic transports.

I think BARC wins it has more firepower and it looks better + it has paint job
And has the same technology found in AT RT which allows it to tell the command post
(without the pilot doing something) how many enemies are there, what kind of enemies are.

The Halo 5: Guardians Gungoose. It has the most firepower of any single-occupant Sci-Fi vehicle with guns on it.

2:31 Things like these happening is actually not that uncommon in the imperium of man, where ships can achieve absolutely ridiculous scale, and villages or even cities with multiple generations of lost servicemen being rediscovered after a few hundred years is just normal
Are there any stories about that in 40K?
I’ve read that excerpt about the local commanders rebelling and fighting like warlords on the ship and I never ever could remember or find where it came from and now I know thanks!
