Great video again bro. I was able to fade my sides really nice this week with a new LoPro set, but i struggled blending the top. Really cool that JRL sent you that package, you deserve it for the vids you keep putting out. For sure I'll keep watching, this is the skill I'm developing this year no matter how much I screw up. 😂
I have the same issue as you where the hair on the back of my head is much more dense and harder to get the blend just right. It looks darker than the rest of the fade. It would be helpful to show us the back of your head with the final result, and maybe explain your process on how to get the back looking exactly like the sides.

@@DavidEscamilla153 thanks, David. Yes, just 2 more things. I do point cutting on myself to clean up the fade, like you, and for the most part it does look much better when I'm done. I even use point cuttingto take out stubborn lines before. The thing is, I don't understand exactly what I'm doing, or how it works lol. I only know to take a little hair off, little by little, especially around where the 1 guard is on up toward the longer hair. I know that I've cut too much hair using point cutting before by the sound the scissors make cutting the hair 😂. Maybe some close up shots of you taking down the hair as you point cut would help. Last minor thing, I saw you take some awkward angles while cutting your hair with the clipper toward the back of your head. I'm pretty sure it was because of the cowlick angle your hair grows back there. A lot of people have crazy cowlicks, so maybe mention that a little.
Yes those are both my questions the back of my head is the most irritating for me to try and blend and then I just have to go with what looks decent. But I would love to know the secret for that dense hair. Maybe taking a lower gaurds higher? That would be a great video for self cutters. And I’m new to point cutting with scissors so I would love a video showing exactly what you’re looking at and which angle you hold the scissors to take it out. Great fade by the way
I know exactly what you mean. My hair is tough w that. But I have curly hair and I can get away with mistakes more often than someone w straight hair. Would it help if I did a video of me helping someone cut their own hair ? Would that be a solid idea

That's not going to help the line where 0 guard open meets the 1 guard closed. You will either need a 0.5 guard, or use a 0 guard open and use a VERY light hand and only the corners of the open blade to fade that line out.
